I thought the prestige system would take into account the perks. For example, I had few characters P3'd with all perks unlocked. From what they described in the blog post, I thought I would be able to go up a few tiers of prestige from both perks and pre-update prestige themselves. Yet I opened the game and I only have them on prestige 9.

I think hes both poking fun at the thread saying that the new killer wont have any counterplay before its announced, while simultaneously showing that from what we've been shown of the new killer with the teaser he could very well be a clown clone.
A clown clone? We already have Freddy.

I've personally lost any hopes of us getting any decent perks in the game at this point. Devs can't even design any gimmicky perks right. Trail of Torment is the best possible example of a cool concept but then you get a 100k IQ designer who's somehow in charge of how perks work and goes "This stealth perk should counteract itself".
Let's also not forget about perks designed to be absolutely useless from the get-go. Remember original I'm All Ears that would reveal aura of any survivor performing a quick action outside of your terror radius which still had a cooldown? Remember how Gearhead, an already mediocre tracking perk got nerfed for god knows what reason?

It's as if... that's what devs want people to do?

I have no clue how Silent Hill works but perhaps it has something to do with that? Maybe Pyramid Head still has some ties with whatever force Silent Hill has and is able to break Entity's rules because of it?
About Michael, as others said he's embodiment of evil, Basically, no one exactly knows what the ######### he really is besides "human but not exactly. Even then, unlike PH, he needs special add-ons to be able to kill survivors so maybe it has something to do with that.

There is a possibility but I doubt devs will nerf it. It's a hook perk that motivates you to leave the hook. Going by the logic of BBQ never being touched because it "discourages" camping, I think it's safe to say PGTW won't be changed in the near future.

Well I'm usually on the receiving end of the toxic messages due to camping at the end-game cuz like... what else do you want me to do. However the reason as to why I play the killer is because there is way more things that can annoy you on the survivor side that can be done intentionally by the players. When getting looped as a killer it's easy to blame it on the game's design or just player being better at the game. Survivors on the other side, rely on their team which can lead to frustration at certain moments. For example when you don't get healed after being unhooked or others letting you reach the struggle phase on a hook.
