Everyone knows the 75% grind reduction is a lie. It was apparent when they tried adding a mandatory prestige tax. This system only serves to benefit people who've already put in the grind for years. This failure of a system creates a scarcity of certain rarity items and it was band aided by increasing the rarity on higher prestiges. Not only does this make the blood web more expensive over time, people now have to invest even more on a character to ensure they have a steady supply of an item. You think the bubba main since 2019 cares he may see less award winning chili on the web until p60? No, they probably have about 1000+ add ons in reserve.
And regarding having rarer items on higher prestige, killers who have their best add ons at yellow or brown will suffer because now they get less effective add ons which happen to be higher rarity. And what of event items that are in brown rarity. Knowing bhvr someone higher presitge woukd get punished and see event items less often.
Point is BHVR cannot be trusted to make a system that works.
-
Are you even suprised though. They lie about the grind reduction and then when they make half baked attempts to keep up this charade, bhvr trips over their own ineptiude.
-
- Anniversary event. People coming in got 600% bp so pointing at those numbers doomposting is ######### stupid.
- The great grind reduction lie with the removal of bbq/wglf + prestige is an actual turn off. It does not help that BHVR is completely incompetent thet cannot add in an incentive system without it utterly failing. And even if it did work the reward is laughable.
There's large issues of this game and rightly so with this company's inability to create simile effective solutions but you pointing at numbers go up and down on one platform is pointless.
-
Sounds like a great feature, therefore it's not going to happen.
-
Imagine trusting bhvr with the soon(TM) changes to rarity items. Everyone knows they're going to make it even more complicated than it has to be without actually addressing the core ossues.
-
Yes, pay the tax wagie.
-
An actual reduction of the grind. Not this lie of a system.
-
I don't understand how they can even ######### up incentives to make it somewhat bearable. It's just lovely having multiple games in a row where someone is either camped or relentlessly tunneled. Yeah with the extra time to do gens on top of solo queue never having information at hand 9 times out of 10 no one is going to do the "optimal" strategy to slam gens to punish a camping killer. It is so very tiresome netting 6-11k points a game to work with poorly designed blood web on top of being forced to cough up a 20k tax.

I wasn't unhappy about it. I couldn't stop laughing. It was some good comedy.
-
Lmao this is peak dbd community.
-
I'm suprised they didn't nerf the chilis because people tended to use them over other add ons. I give it 6 months. They're bound to do something stupid like that if they can't even be bothered to noticed some changes are the exact values of existing add ons.

According to my trusted source it is. New rules dropped this month concerning how they can talk about game balance, cheats/hacks, and leaks. Essentially they can't be too hard on the devs or get too negative. Which is understandable as FWs are meant to be ads for the game. But you'd at least expect the devs to do something about the topics they don't want the FWs to rant about.
Somehow I don't believe this. There's been one fog whisperer I'm aware of who constantly talks ######### and rightfully so about bvhr's gross incompetence and went off about the cheating problem this morning. I'll start believing as soon as I see this person avoid the topic all the sudden.
-
Even prominent content creators and fog whisperers outright say they don't bother reporting hackers anymore because they said it's pointless. Many of them said they reported and saw the same people they reported and nothing happened or cite people can just pay $2 for a new account.
-
You know its a complete joke when you have several large content creators and even prominent fog whisperers outright saying reporting cheaters are pointless and they dont even bother doing it anymore. How patheric is it when the people who are supposed to represent your own game striaght up say reporting is a useless effort and they have given up because bhvr won't do anything about it?

I suppose since windstorm is now base kit wriaths can actually use other add ons.
Most wraiths I see tend to use all seeing and silent bell. Granted I can see why for all seeing. That aura feels nice to use and can feel addictive. But eh I'll take my shadow dance and bamboozle to enjoy speed vaults and not feel like im wasting time kicking gens.

Well Wraith right now is already the killer that’s getting the most complaints.
Sounds about right. Been seeing people screaming how they'd rather go against spirit than wraith or posts about wraith being more unfun than spirit.

There's people who blantantly been hacking for weeks if not months and haven't been banned yet. Yeah you'll be fine depipping. If anything just run meme builds and not even try too hard.
