    Hey Mandy!

    First off, massive thanks for actually replying to some of us! Obv DBD fan here, that said, I’m reaching out because the Switch 2 launch had so many of us (myself included) hyped for an optimized upgrade, and it’s just… not there. The hardware can handle way more, but right now, it feels like a straight Switch 1 carryover with only FPS bumped up (which is nice, stable 30fps is playable at least).

    The graphics are holding it back hard, textures straight-up don’t load half the time, and survivor faces, I can’t even tell who’s who without squinting (Nancy looks like she’s wearing a wig and balding under it). Hairs are stringy messes or just wildly off-model, new characters such as Rick got that worm hair ((that’s pretty bad looking.)) Trees and floors look slapped together, low-res and jagged…Literally the whole environment’s fighting itself lmao.

    I’ve seen this echoed everywhere: Reddit threads calling it “piss weak” visuals and “awful” compared to PC/Switch 2 peers, X posts begging for a patch because it’s “PS2 graphics” or “deep fried,” etc etc. We’re talking hundreds of players voicing the same thing since launch. A (proper) Switch 2 update—higher res textures, better models, anti-aliasing—would make this a really awesome portable experience it deserves and keep the community happy.

    BHVR’s done a really good job with cross-play and content drops, and this feels like low-hanging fruit. (Practically rotting at this point 😭)

    But please, at least ponder this, at least give it ANY consideration!
