Imagine trying to have fun during an event that is supposed to be fun, right? Yeah, thats what i thought, until i realized how miserable the soloq experience is, even worse than in normal matches. So only one thing to do: complete challenges as fast as possible to complete collection and wait until the event is over.

Yeah it's litterally been everyone leaving SoloQ to die. No one's been helping the SoloQ survivors. I've had people sand bagging me while working on gens, running the killer to me then tbagging, using bond to sand bag me, leaving me to second stage when there's a mori. I get it it's frustrating. These other survivors just don't care, and then getting tunneled if you manage to jump off too.

  • โœ‹๏ธ I haven't hahad A single escape sinsince the lich update. It's like all the killers are faster.

Who decides the match is dead? Is it the guy that got hooked first at 5 gens? The Nea, that thought she was real smart with her flashlight only for the killer to down her as well? The Meg that is too busy teabagging to actually loop?

This was not addressed to you personally but more in the sense of all of us. I don't care what your personal criteria for a "dead match" are. Any time the dc penalty is disabled, we see a bunch of people that disconnect for whatever reason they can come up with. And I mean any reason. Losing? Dc. Bad team mate? Dc. Good killer? Dc. Certain perks? Dc. Certain map? Dc. Outplayed? Dc.

The only time they'll stay to play the match is when they easily stomp their opponent. This however goes against what many of us consider a fun match. So basically they ruin the game for everyone else. You're even worse, if you suicide on hook regularly because you can't even take the penalty. If you really can't handle anything that you don't approve of, then play a single player game. In a PvP there will always be something you don't like. Most of us however, don't like this attitude.

I agree there needs to be a penalty, but it needs to be a real penalty for people who dc too frequently and not the people who do it on a rare occasion. I mean evil dead had a good idea, when they implemented a 30 minute timer for frequent dcs.

If 3 people are dead before one gen is completed or 2 people DC before one gen is completed even though Ai are useful. Or if there's 6 hooks before 2 gens. That's a dead match at that rate it's die or take on the chase so the others can do gens if they aren't hiding.

Edit: nvm didn't see it wasn't personal.

Literally everything the killer does will "ruin" the game for someone. Chasing, not chasing, camping, not camping, tunneling, not tunneling, using certain perks, playing a certain killer, randomly get a certain map, making a good play...

If slugging is so bad, then use Unbreakable. Tunneling is indeed something most consider unfun to play against but it really can't be helped because right now tunneling is normal. Survivors use nothing to protect themselves against it and the tools there are, aren't good enough to stop it.

A similar list exists for survivors. So we'd have both sides disconnecting more often, mostly on a whim. It's a PvP game. There will always be something that you don't like. Instead of looking for excuses, we should all just play it out. The absolute worst cases (cheaters and 3 gens for all eternity) have been dealt with. The rest can be endured for a few minutes.

And if it happens every match, then maybe the problem is not the game but our attitude. Disconnects should always be met with harsh penalties.

No, that's just your general idea of every toxic survivors opinion. I kudos a good killer.

I've had killers who were so good, they didn't camp, tunnel, proxy, puppy guard and still managed to merk the entire 4 stack of OG players I had. I used to run SWF now I solo 99% of the time.

Unlike most survivors, I love a challenge and the point to the game is to escape or be killed, I wouldn't have played this since release if I had a problem dying. It's the cantankerous people, mainly survivors or exploiters that I have a problem with as a survivor.

If you mean the disconnect timer? so people cant just quit a match over any simple thing going wrong multiple times.

if bHVR didnt, the problem would be way worse. Check any time bHVR removed the penalty, people do WAY MORE.

Okay, but there needs to be some recognition. I've had to report other survivors a lot lately for sand bagging, flash light clicking me on hook and doing this until I'm second stage just to get me morid I have recordings of being sandbagged by survivors more than killers being the problem. I get tunneling someone being toxic, that's understandable, but I don't behave like that unless someone is being unfair to other players.

I don't engaged in any behavior that's unfair either as a killer when I play. I hook, leave move on, if I run into them again I chase hook end. Most of the time I let everyone go after a couple hooks.

Do you think anyone actually likes playing with AIs?

Yeah well, we don't like being tunneled and camped either yet most killers still do it. ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ

Let's remember to keep this discussion civil and constructive, please.

Also, the reason this is in the Feedback & Suggestion category is to be seen and have things be heard. The feedback & game suggestions posted are collected from here (among other places like Steam Discussion Boards, etc) and then taken back to the Team to be reviewed.

I was being civil. Where in that entire thing was I NOT civil?

I don't believe there are any minor lag issues when loading item pages for me, and I have a potato PC. I watch a streamer who collects items as a hobby, and he has thousands without any issues loading pages. Even if there were issues, they could be addressed in other ways; there's no need to invent a Shop system to recycle items to solve that problem. There are multiple solutions to address that.

You clearly don't pay close enough attention. I get a gig per second, I run at 60 fps, and I still get lag. especially when running in a match.

It's just a way to reitemize data back into the game and help survivors/killers earn blood points from items and offerings they won't use this isn't a place for you to come trying to troll just for the sake of arguing. It's a place to improve gamer experiences.

    Places of lag are:

Loading into the game, loading into the store, loading into each individual survivor/killer profile, etc. There are many instances of itemized lag that show up on the main pages and during matches and since I get 1GB per second, I know for a fact it's not my system or my Ether and this happens with friends on every platform. This is a compilation of opinions from my followers as well who have joined DBD as a direct result from my reccomendation and those who are vets who have played as long as I have.

I've been in this game since it released on PC. I know how to recognize lag. :)

You act as if they are going to listen anyway. It means work for them that doesn't involve them earning money. Unless they make it a purchaseable feature.

My characters are full of pages of items I will never use.

    My point exactly.

  • You get a bot and still get points. ๐Ÿ˜‚

  • The only way I'd get rid of exhaustion perks is if all killers with one hits get their one hitters removed.

  • @LordGlint said:

Feel like crawling to a hook would've sped that up

As a killer who intended to let a team go, I've personally done this once when survivors weren't doing gens and instead trying to be toxic flashlighting/clicking/attempting to goad me so instead of giving them the fight they wanted, I slugged all 4 and laughed as they just crawled around bored.

It has nothing to do with skill and if someone were to crawl to a hook and the killer is being a drag then yeah, they definitely aren't going to hook someone just cause they crawl there.

  • UNPOPULAR OPINION.

This game has been killer sided for years with serious toxicity from survivors in return. But every match is a ######### tunneler or sand bagging survivors who know how to play and intentionally screw with other survivors and BHVR does nothing about it.

It took them 7 years to deal with campers/face campers and it only works for the first hook. The killers have perks that can litterally end game you after your first hook especially if you're solo queue and see you at the start of the match.

Survivors items have been nerfed to hell and you can't even heal twice with a medkit. 1/2 of a gen with the best tool box, brand new part is practically useless.

People who aren't toxic to killers unless they're toxic to them get sand bagged by other survivors and sand bagging survivors don't get punished.

There are problems, major problems on both sides. All perks that highlight survivors and let's ######### wallhack need removed. All killer exposing perks need removed because no one on a map should be able to see each other through walls at all. If you ain't got the skill to find a survivor without seeing where they are through walls and at the start of the match, you're trash.

Same goes for survivors. If you need to see the killer through walls you're dog water. If you act toxic to nice killers you are an ass.

If you tunnel you're trash. Takes no skill. Hands down. You aren't amazingly skilled If you 360, 180, start bagging or blinding killers at the gate, you're just being a dick and honestly if a survivor stays inside the gate without moving for 20 seconds you should be killed. If you wanna wait for another survivor do it outside the gate.

No this game isn't killer or survivor sided. It's troll sided. Hands down.

  • The longer they tunnel someone fresh off hook the more their vision goes black and once the survivor is a safe distance it comes back.

  • Tunneling is never justified unless the survivor is being a dick on purpose, and it's not necessary. I've played against a truly skilled player.

Dude never once tunneled, and killed all of us before the second gen was completed.

Survivors can be douche bags, the unnecessary tbagging, and end game collapse antics, and the flashlight spamming just to flashlight.

    But tunneling take no skill.
