True, it is only for 4 minutes max if they close that hatch and the gates aren't open yet.
However, it is not easy to get out by opening the gates if you're the last one left. It's pretty difficult.
It's definitely easier for killer these days.
I play both killer and survivor, and I do like the end game collapse as killer mostly.

I literally just had a match where the killer was chasing me on the other end of the map and when the hooked person was unhooked the killer completely dropped the chase and went back and tunneled the survivor. They weren't even the obsession.
Also, people can say they don't care about rank but they do. You wouldn't have all the posts today complaining about how hard it is to pip or twitch streamers complaining about it during and after the PTB. I care and so do most people.
I personally don't care about rank. I've been down in the red ranks but I don't like it there. I play for fun, not for stress.

I'm a spirit main. I run:
Bbq, for blood points and auras
Rancor, for auras
Nurses, for auras
Ruin, to slow the game down
I find I can easily 4k, IF I'm say rank 11/12 and not less. If I go under, I find it difficult. Maybe you're too high rank for your skill level? I'm a pretty good player but I don't want to rank up too quickly as it becomes too sweaty and toxic. I'm happy at the worse ranks :)

It's kinda difficult to punish that, because last week as soon as I entered a game I was immediately booted for some reason, and that was not my doing. So it would have shown me as dc though I didn't. So, I assume this happens to others and it's not fair to be punished for a dc that was not someone choice. Or their internet goes or something.

Yeah it could be. I got to rank 5 as killer which reset to 13 or something? Both back at 5 and reset rank it's very quick. Survivor I think I reset to 10 and the lobbies have been pretty good for that too.NoShinyPony said:@Mc_Harty said:

I just waited for a lobby at rank 11 for 10 minutes before finding a game... After rank reset.
So you are experiencing opposite things despite both being in Australia. It must be the rank then.

I prefer to play killer. Yes, it is fun as survivor to hide and get out of the gate, but I find it scary and stressful. My heart pounds.
My heart doesn't pound as killer. I find it quite relaxing. I'm not the best but I was at rank 5 before the reset. -
