I'm trying to lure people into judging my Boogeyman killer, because no matter what I do people just don't comment. Wanna help? Also, the power where if they get too close too a downed survivor they get teleported away, is really damn op. I think that just showing the auras of other survs in a 12-16 meter radius would work better
-
Try it out. When you're doing those actions you can only be grabbed if you're injured. This hex changes it
-
And some perk ideas
Hex: Blood On Your Hands
You can grab healthy survivors off windows, pallets, or hook sabos.
Don't Interupt:
While a survivor is on your shoulder, all other survivors suffer from the exposed status effect
Fatal Positioning:
While in a chase, if the survivor you're chasing has not vaulted a window or pallet, or dropped a pallet in 10 seconds they gain the exposed status effect
-
He should really have a limited amount of chains, but with more drastic effects.
The portals are a good idea, teleporting survivors far away, but from what I read you don't down them. You don't get any pressure for it. I think that maybe they could be used to either
A: Teleport downed survivors as far away from other non downed survs as possible, and as hes an executioner he should be able to find the aura
B: The portal could be used as a mechanic to store downed survivors, hiding their aura from other survs but emitting massive amounts of light and sound. Maybe even requiring the portal to be destroyed, but you only get a couple each game.
-
Ayyy, thanks for giving me some feedback on my own British killer. Honestly, the chains sound horribly weak, and the portals even weaker. Though Irri Chain sounds overpowered as hell. Plus, the execution is useless. Hooking is always the better option in that situation

So what i'm getting from PR is you move incredibly slow AND have an incredibly punishing attack.
I guess you're right about being slow, but my thousands of hours in DBD has just made me like the more challenging killers
Maybe increase the max jump to 15 meters and increase the leap speed to 300?
-
I just need to know if this is good
-
Yeah, that sounds good! I never get feedback on any of my chapters, so I might as well make other people happier by giving it to them.
-
Whoa man, this is some amazing work. Never seen anyone actually make a map layout for a chapter before. Too bad it didn't get much attention, I know what its like to get ignored on these forums.
-
Lmao, Toxic Nea is hilarious. Look up Noob3. Toxic Neas are usually Neas with bright colored hair cosmetics, flashlights, are great at looping and really love tbagging you.
-
Well say theres 3 gens left, having two 8 meter radius detectors while also removing one of his main abilities would suck. Blight's was good because you were high speed, could use his power multiple time in a row, and were always close to the survivor that you revealed. You should either bump up the aura reading, or remove the limit on how many rapiers you can have
-
Wraith scares me because you can't see him
-
I want Trapper to end up in one of Piggy's traps I swear playing against him is a pain
-
Love it mate! Made Wraith the cutie he really is
-
Otherwise, amazing killer
-
His power seems like a mix mash of Huntress, Deathslinger, Nurse, and a bit of Legion. Though Ultra Rare Addon #2 seems horrible. If it was 16 or 20 meter radius's it would be worth it for 7K BP, but only having two of them its absolutely horrible. It's like Amanda's Letter: removes one really good ability and gives you really bad aura reading
-
I can imagine skins of this guy just being the meme faces from the early 2010s. I want it.

That would make the game so toxic. Do you know much sand bagging and hook farming/leaving them to hang will be happening. Also this punishes survivors that are skilled enough to keep all survivors still alive to the end game and rewards bad killers that couldn’t even kill one by that time as well. It would be so unfair and if you’re part of the two survivors left behind the game would either turn into hide and seek or just DC.
That was rhetorical, mate. I'm saying that if gens are going so fast that they can only get 5-6 hooks with chases that last almost no time at all, it'd be the same as if the game only let 2 people out of the trial. I wasn't saying that thats what should happen.

Also technically getting a 4 is like getting a 100% on a test. You don’t need to get one to pass your test but it feels good and makes you feel more skilled if you do. 2K is what a killer should be getting for a good game. 3k for a great game and 1K for game where they weren’t doing as good.
Hell no, 2 kills is considered a balanced game, which is what the devs aim for. But getting 5-6 hooks could only ever get you a 2k if you hardcore tunneled. A 1K is just a loss, not a game where you didn't "do so well". I didn't even agree with the original post, its Odra's "5-6 Hooks Is A Win For The Killer" that pissed me off. Its like saying that getting 2 or 3 gens done and having everyone die is a win for the survs
-
Though your power idea is really good! I think that the Cleansed effect should go away after being hooked when you have that damaging pink addon so that later in the game you don't pop Rupture and suddenly have twice as much pressure. Sacrificial Dagger seems waaaay too good, especially if you play on a map like Midwitch where stuff like that would be impassable. I think a simple 10% boost would be just fine for a green addon.
-
I feel like Muscle Memory should be increased by perks that either you or the carried surv has. So if the carried surv has maybe Tenacity and Lightweight, you'd move faster. Plus, Familiar Noise is horrible. Empathy does the same thing just way, way better.
-
Honestly, for Tuned Carb, if you decrease the speed penalty than maybe make it so that the beginning yaw speed lasts a pinch longer? I don't feel like the Tuned Carb would be an better whatsoever without some other compensation
-
Bruh 2 kills is a win? That's like saying that, if BHVR made it so that only the first two survs to leave were allowed to leave and the other two were blocked from leaving, that that was balanced. Yeah, that's technically a win for the survs as well, so add it to the game?
-
Wrong part of the forums bud
-
Those filthy casuals couldn't even parry
-
Gimme Some Ideas On How To Balance Or Change it
-
I feel like this wouldn't be fun to play against, tbh. In a SWF, this killer is complete garbage, in a group of randos the survivor might just die with no one to help at all because the randos don't care

Oooh sounds fun! I read it and its good. It needs a few tweaks here and there but yeah its good! I like it my dudes. Ill be waiting for your updated version!
I already updated it, pretty sure you saw the updated version. Before the update is was just the killer and the purple and pink addons
-
If you've got any ideas on how to change it please tell me!

Lol Id be happy to help create an actual concept for it. Also I will look at your boggeyman concept my dudes. The perk for my concept is also now tweaked so it should be balanced!
I saw that! Though I think I'm going to go update my Boogeyman concept now. I already had everything set up to turn it into a complete chapter, I just got screwed over by a bug that didn't let me post it, and I got really discouraged after that

true... How about this, I lowered it to a max of 3 tokens and made it unapplicable to status effects caused by survivor perks?
That sounds a lot better! Though hey, why were you lookin' at my Quiet Place power concept? My Boogeyman concept is a lot better
-
That actually sounds a lot better, I threw this idea together in like 10 minutes to bring attention to the possibility
-
Why isn't anyone talking about the Abusive Past perk? Its incredibly op. If you just bring a good toolbox and have your team mates do some early game chases, once you get chased you gain chain 6 lithes in a row
-
The game owes me around 1000000 BP at this point, probably waaaay more. Holy crap I just wanna get BP but instead this crap happens. I haven't used a single damn cake but still
-
I'm having the exact same problem. Have you found a fix yet? It's super annoying as I really need BP
-
Manual trigger would actually be smart. Because usually killers only pay attention to crows while looks for a survivor. And survs won't notice the crows going off unless they're in a SWF and know you're running the perk. But then you guys will usually have coms and it won't matter anyways.
-
Neato. I'm not sure if Heavy Steps would work very well. I think making it 15 crows you need to alert but while within the killers terror radius instead would be a lot better. Though I love trailblazer!
-
I want to see the monster from a Silent Place. It'd make sense with the new movie coming out in March
-
And we should be able to play the killers we like, not the ones that are competitively viable without losing 80% of games. You can't complain about getting tunneled by a Clown without ruin that doesn't have slowdown perks because he didn't want to level up random killers for perks.
-
And when you're patrolling you aren't going directly to the gens being worked on, you go to every gen and check. So yes, if you're going in an arch shape to the gens across the map where 4 people are working in close proximity to each other, it is 100% possible. And we shouldn't have to run specific perk to deter the absurd gen speed.
-
You can't say get good when survivors can use infinites to instantly get the killer off them, most killers have no map pressure capabilities, and pressuring on maps that make other maps look like a child's sandbox is pretty ######### hard for anyone but Nurse, Spirit, Hillbilly, and maybe Oni if you're lucky
-
Oof
-
Nope. Survivors will complain and make moris work after 2 hooks and give everyone no mither effect without any debuffs
-
Those nerfs were needed, a full team of BNP could get 4 gens done in a few seconds before the nerf
-
Blind Savior... if everyone ran that it'd be impossible for the killer to win without a Mori or camping. I think that it should only be able to be used once and after that you're Both Blinded and Oblivious for the rest of the game.
-
- For prayer locker, Dying Survivors can't enter lockers and when they injured survivors enter a locker you can't see their aura's anyways.
- "Long reach" For her attack doesn't work in DBD. There are only a couple killers that have a long lunge reach, and those are ones like Nurse and Tier 3 Myers, which are both special.
- Her power sounds like a mix between Freddy and Plague. And hurting survivors isn't too clear on what you mean.
- Bully is a long ways away from being considered a Hex perk. It'll work 1 in a million games.
- Otherwise, it's good.
-
Whats with the 20% longer cooldown? What does that mean?
-
That's just NOED with requirements
-
Jesus Christ that killer ability sounds amazing. Its like Nurse level of anti looping.
-
Don't you need a third teachable perk for a killer?
