  • none of those things are toxic, they are part of the game, a perk is not toxic, nor is teabagging clicking or pointing, the only toxic thing about the game is the comments and chat where people say mean nasty things, anything thats in the game and not abusing bugs is not toxic

  • Playing multiplayer games pretty much my whole life ive come to the conclusion that its actually better to go against people of a higher skill level, you learn faster. Taking baby steps and "rank 20s" only going against "rank 20s" is a recipe for a brutal failure in the future. If you cant handle being stomped for awhile then dont play online games, its not how they are built. Its like being thrown into a new job, you better learn quick or you will get let go or be severely frustrated. Look at Apex legends, it rarely puts you in your skill level. You play a few good games and all of a sudden you have 3 squads of Predator level players. They just randomly throw 60 people in a non ranked game and say have at it. DBD doesnt need skill based matchmaking, it just needs to find 4 suvivors and 1 killer and let people learn either the hard way or easy way depending how you tackle it. Stop whining when youre a rank 14 killer going against a 4 man red rank swf....learn their patterns, practice your power, learn how good players loop and bring that with you into the next match

  • I mean, thats any online game really, when i used to play league people called each other every name under the sun. Its just keyboard warriors trying to instigate and get a reaction, best thing to do is just ignore them or say gg and move on. Dont take it personal

  • Diversion

    Red Herring

    Deception

    Urban Evasion

  • if this was real there would be someone somewhere who would do it, and the reward should be infinite bloodpoints forever

  • i have over 2k hours in the game and my looping skills are still pretty #########, i spent a good portion practicing but in the end i just wasnt motivated enough to try play loops perfectly every game, so i do a balance between getting their attention to split the pressure, and immersing to do the objective, i find it thrilling when the killer walks right past me

  • Well, pipping in a sense means you overperformed against the "norm", if you get 2k2E then the game is a draw, therfore you dont deserve a pip, but if you beat the odds and get 3-4k then you deserve 1 to 2 pips depending on other in game factors, but the system is broken cause you can be a braindead suvivor and still double pip while killer you actually have to work for it

  • i love going against the rare twins because it destresses me, i lose focus cause i cant stop laughing at victor, this little midget running around grunting, his animations are hilarious and when they are trying to aim a pounce its him strafing back and forth and i just find it so funny

  • even after playing this game for 2 years im still not the best at looping, i have very slow reaction time when they try to mindgame, im usually to focused to see where their red stain is, when i bring deadhard im never near a pallet or window when i have to use it so i end up buying myself an extra 2 seconds out on the open

i watch people like zubat and old noob3 videos and everytime they loop the killer for the whole game, yet when i get chased i go down in 10 seconds, i stay at red ranks every reset but thats mostly cause i do a lot of saves and gens and 50% of the time im pretty good at hiding or just generally knowing where the killer is (unless im caught first)

i do have my moments where i can keep the killer busy for a bit but generally if im found im probably going down in under a min

  • Its only as stressful as you make it, you'll naturally get better at it over time just like any game, but theres a lot of people out there that have been playing this game for years so dont feel bad if you arent performing well for a bit, focus on one or two killers and really master them, learn their powers and cooldowns by heart, watch a few youtube videos or streams and see what sort of tricks and tactics people use and try to mimic it. Also you just have to remember that theres always someone out there better than you, swf is stacked against the killer so dont feel bad, they have more info on you than youll ever get. Just play the game normally, laugh off the mistakes and weird/stupid plays and trust me it will feel a lot better even if you get no kills.

  • RE8 had a lot of hype the last couple months, i think having nemesis or Mr. X would be stale, what are they gonna do? dash around the map like 10 other killers do already? I think they have a lot more opportunity in powers with the vampire sisters. DBD does like to throw people off though with the pyramid head release people swore up and down the roads it was Candyman. I dont think the 5 has anything to do with the killer, could just be homage to the new game being released but doesnt mean its the killers weapon. People are saying they hear zombies in the trailer and the umbrella logo on the ground, but that could just be emphasizing that its the RE series as a whole

  • @Dwight_Fairfield said:

For me it depends on which killer they're playing. If they're not using one of the top tier killers e.g. Freddy, Spirit, Nurse etc then its more interesting to watch.

You mention Bronx, I've seen him pull off some crazy good feats with the odds totally against him. I think my favorite was when he played one perk scratched mirror Mikey on Ormond and got the 4k.

yea i like it when they use off meta builds or weird playstyles like only shred demo, or basement only hooks. im not dogging on the streamers, they have paved their way and are mostly good, bronx, otz, umbra, and i do like to watch them, but they do the same stuff over and over and rarely "lose". i guess ive had more fun watching people newer to the game who make lots of mistakes and get better and better and just dont take the game so "sweaty"

  • Youre probably a true blue gamer if youre playing at 11pm is why. Most likely a lot of casuals will play with their friends or do a few games after work or school, but the ones that take the game super serious play thru the night while normal people just go to bed *shrug

  • Its just how some people cope with a loss or being angry. Some people have a hard time controlling their emotions or they have the attitude that they should win every single game every time. Me personally if im having a bad game i just start memeing around, or ill practice huntress throws or just be silly with the survivors till they leave, im probably still getting more bloodpoints than them

  • Honestly its nothing new, since the dawn of online games, shoot, even when you played games with your brother on the N64, toxcicity has been around. DBD is special because of the nature of the game. It feels like youre being targeted by a group a bullies or 1 big bully. In a game of LoL or DOTA you have 10 people all with the same goal so it doesnt feel as "personal". But i dont see in game mechanics as toxic, body blocks, camping, tunneling. If thats how you want to play then go for it, theres no rules. Toxic to me is using exploits or hacks

  • whos cares what others say, whether its actual tunneling or not, its not against any rules. play how you want to play. but as others have said, if youre an easy target and your team isnt trying to take aggro then sorry sweetie, ur going back on the hook

  • I could care less if its 4 toolboxes, 4 flashlights, 4 purple keys, 4 OoO, all on comms with doritos and sweaty palms on the keyboard calling out plays like its the life or death. I just play the game and if they wanna try that hard then they deserve the win, and i just ready up for the next game, i only run into try hards maybe every 10 games its not that big of a deal, its a bunch of pixels on a screen thats supposed to give you enjoyment so just take it as it is and play the game

  • Ive always had fun with spirit, i have really good headphones so getting away from me is extremely hard to do. Hag is fun with shackles add on cause i love giving survivors heart attacks. Wraith with coxcomb clapper and the aura reading add on is good for jumpscares. And ill play doctor here and there for the constant screaming

  • Just become a god with Nurse and Spirit....billy who???

  • Funny enough i escape more of my matches when i play solo. Theres this psychological thing that when you play with friends you tend to want to benefit the team more than you would playing alone, you immediately stop repairing the gen to rush for the save, you stop breaking the totem to go take a protection hit and that totem turns into NOED. I feel like swf groups make a lot more mistakes than solo and it benefits the killer. I love when theres flashlights in the lobby when im killer because i know they will be trying to go for saves rather than rushing the gens giving me more time to adjust and patrol. Sure theres the occasional sweaty group that will pretend like they are playing in the pro league of legends tournament for the million dollar cash prize, but i find those far and few between. We tend to remember the bad games more than the good ones and thats just a fact of life, youll remember someone called you fat but you quickly forget the one that called you beautiful

  • I normally play with my friends and we barely even talk about the game while playing, most people just wanna play with friends to relax and socialize. Sure we will call out "hex over here" or something like that but we never sit around and t-bag, flashlight chain ect. When im killer sometimes i love the swf groups cause they can be overly altruistic and that works in your favor
