I uhhh... I only play killer and I don't play any of those killers and still manage 2-4ks a game when I try and seriously play. Normally I just farm chase and breaking points and track hooks so I don't sacrifice anyone. I'm more after points then kills truthfully.

I personally run stuff like Iron Grasp, Mad Grit... Ive never used NOED...

i play on switch and im Red rank killer i have minimum 3 kills per round but after crossplay i suck a lot every fu@#&g survivor are a toxic every can do 360 and i with very bad fps after 360 i dont know what happening! Im very sad because dbd is my favorite game but after this im felling like noob and these survivors treat me like garbage. After tuning off crossplay i have no Players and i have lobby after 2 hours. Im sad and very angry at the same time i never disconect but this toxic guys make me disconect 3 times im felling like a garbage.
1. Never allow anyone to make you feel like garbage. They arent worth it.
2. What killer and perks do you run? And what platform do you play on?

You should absolutely be running when you're not in a chase. Every second you're not doing the objective is helping the killer, so you should be running whenever feasible. That doesn't mean you shouldn't be careful while doing it, but do it. You can avoid running next to inward-facing walls (scratch marks are easy to see on those from far away), check your surroundings for the killer as you're running, and use your HUD wisely; if you see the obsession claws wiggling or a survivor lose a health state, the killer is very likely busy and is not likely to drop chase to check out some scratch marks halfway across the map. You may wish to be a little more careful against stealth killers, but you should still be running a lot throughout the game.
There are just so many detection perks nowadays that it's not really feasible to rely on stealth to win. Walking around the map doesn't do much for you when the killer is likely to find you with with BBQ, Infectious, etc. regardless, but getting on gens as quickly as you can will almost always help you out.
I get more survivors who run then survivors who stealth. This advice came from my experience rather then from the games perks. And was meant more for the start of the match rather then the mid to late game once chases start.

If you're toxic, I'll teach you a lesson regardless if you're on PC or console.
But I'm not gonna be toxic simply because you're on a different platform.
^ This. This is golden.
I have been playing since dbd on ps4 came out. The number of times Ive met toxic survivors is actually low. Other then recently when dealing with DS on someone(Granted. My fault for not realizing it was the same Dwight and trying to max my hook points) I generally have good games.
Ive even had survivors willing to help me finish challenges that I couldnt get normally.(for the record... I cant aim Huntress hatchets worth anything)...
Ive had one survivor be toxic... And he DCed from the game after the second hook when he came to rescue another while injured. Like... Siiiigh.
Just be good to each other yeah? And slap toxic players whether Killer or Survivor.

I've gotten to rank 1 during a time when the emblem system was challenging as hell and hex ruin was nerfed and before I ever got corrupt intervention so I feel I have proven myself to be a good killer.
I am not quitting killer because I suck at it. I love killing toxic survivors, I hate them. But this toxicity, isn't fun for me anymore. I finally snapped out of trying to prove immature kids wrong and flex dominance on random people online now.
Even without the use of perks or items with add-ons, survivors have way too much going for them to stall out an entire match. Every killer game is stressful and unenjoyable. Even after I get a 4k game I never feel it was worth the time I wasted to keep bouncing between slugs, while trying to find the hatch before bleedout.
Even without using pallets, survivors can stall the game to victory. If survivors use pallets there is enough of them in a map to completely stall out 5 gens being completed by the other 3 toxic survivors. Without pallets, there are godly broken window loops and the RNG of the jungle gym spawns can sometimes give them almost-infinite-loops. In addition to this there is line of sight jukes to gain them massive distance which definitely gives them time to reach more pallets. Because the pallets are infinite.
Even if a killer switches targets and never hooks the same survivor twice, and if you got rid of all pallets, they will still gen rush and win. They don't even need pallets and they are given a billion pallets.
Since everyone hates being tunneled just make the entity grant immunity to death state for 1 minute to any survior who has been unhooked or unhooks themselves, but make it so they are not allowed to body block during this time frame so people don't abuse this new game mechanic.
Even if this was the case, forcing killers to attack one by one in an alternating pattern equally among all the survivors, they will still gen rush to win every time.
And with the merge of sweaty no life PC kids? Now every game is annoying and unenjoyable. I am going back to Apex Legends. The devs for this game suck.
Not to poke fun or anything.... But there are sweaty no life kids in Apex too.
On a serious note. I am sorry that the Killer side is stressful for you. That always sucks to read, probably because I find the survivor side of things boring.

I cant really say Ive stayed away from killers. I have tried them all and I have my disliked killers.
However I have had the opposite happen. I used to be a Legion Main, but after PH came out, my time as him dwindled to nothing.

Thank You! I dont touch flashlights, I search a chest and one of those bad boys are in there I leave them there 🤣🤣 i have used them a few times for challanges I needed to do but that stuff is hard, so I dropped a pallet and did it while they were breaking it. I have managed to get to rank 5 with 4 pips.....sooo close to red ranks and then rank reset.... back to rank 9 lol
Generally speaking. Im open to helping with challenges. Ill even sometimes try to farm my own or if its a particularly annoying challenge, I will reach out to the survivors to exchange challenge aid.
One was on a killer i really dont use much(I primarily play PH/Death) and I reached out to help. Turns out the survivor needed help with a heal challenge. Win win.
Toxicity only exists if we as players let it. Thats my follow up ^^ and an example of "not every killer is an ass"

Listen, sound can tell you so much in this game. The Terror Radius even helps Survivor out as the louder it is, generally, the closer a Killer is.
Dont Stand still but don't run either. Unless you are being chased, you should never run or vault or drop a pallet. It gives the Killer clues of where you are. Whether a sound que or a trail of scratch marks.
Juke and dodge. Never run in a straight line. The number of times Ive gotten a survivor cause they went straight is insane.
Dont be a dick with the flashlight. Most Killers hate it. Its annoying. If youve dropped a pallet... Just get out. Run a ways then drop to a crouch if the killer is far enough a way. Leaves a scratch trail for us to follow until you drop and sneak away. Takes a few seconds for us Killers to break a pallet.
Above all remember... Not every Killer is a complete ass.
This has been advice from your friendly neighborhood Killer Main.
