Are you implying it should be active from the start which would be way overpowered? Or it should 5 times easier to avoid which would be way underpowered? The best solution so far for NOED would be a global totem counter or a map wide dull totem cleansing audio for survivors so they can count manually.
I just mean the totem is active and lit but the totem isnt active till EGC. And by that reasoning of being easier to avoid, ruin is also underpowered?

Can't have the best of both worlds here. I mainly play killer, and I'd personally say for an intense slugging perk like it is with the speed boost, should have some risk involved. Like running ruin, you risk them spawning and instantly finding it, negating that whole perk for the whole game.

Had a similar thing happen to me on hawkins when playing a custom with freinds. Got stuck on the edge of the pallet and my screen was shaking harder than my dissapointed parents heads.

I'm glad we agree? 🤷
I see you didnt detect the sarcasm. Picture this. You go against a swf group, you have a bad game and they get unhooks. You catch two people at the end because you played really well and mindgamed, put em both on hook and think nothing of it. Then both kobe with deliverance, dip for the exit gate and you get 0 kills and derank. Fun right?
-
If it can be referred to as a noob perk, so what? Just like borrowed time, unbreakable, decisive and other survivor perks can help give you another chance or make up for a mistake, like clipping a wall in a loop etc or you got hooked and you're getting tunneled, so be it. If what someone said previously, in that NOED consistently is used and rewards bad play, how are they gonna get better without it? Surely using the NOED stabilisers to the point where you can win more without ever using it is more fun than trying to brute force yourself into being better, so of course killers will use it at first. I personally used it alot at the lower ranks because i was matching against purple rank survivors and had a bad time, but now i favour other perks like haunted grounds or make your choice for that slot because i understand how the game works a bit better now. One more NOED post really dosen't change anything its just a vent.

Ah yes, slugging effectively and having survivors use the deliverance they saved until this exact part.
-
Ah yes, the rng insta ruin find spawn

"The survivor will attempt to heal or t-bag in place instead of running through the pallet"
That's no bug my friend, its called survivor syndrome.

It's to do with power creep. As you may be aware from just being on the forums, alot of people are unhappy about alot of things. Yea, stuff is getting old and theres not alot to shake up the meta. But if they just added and added and added new perks, items and other factors with every mid chapter, would stuff be nerfed? Think about it. You have NOED, Keys, Moris, SWF, Ds, Dead hard, all these things that get complained about. Only maps that were statistically survivor favoured (way more escapes than kills on said map) and well-known abuseable loops were fixed. If BE just kept adding things in without first setting a fair (ISH) baseline, the game would crumble. Too many chickens to count before they start hatching if you know what i mean? They will fix what they can first and balance things for both mobile and console, and THEN they will add more stuff in so that all hell dont break loose. Recently they are working really hard for this, probably because of the leaks about crossplay and everything needs to be balanced. Loops were hit, ruin was hit, just be patient. They will add content soon! Not exactly a MASSIVE team working like what RIOT have for league of legends which also has the live game system and release content. Not talking down about BE, i think they're doing a great job with what they have!

You can break noed. I'm not defending it or anything i mostly play killer and i KNOW its filthy and only use it when im playing a killer im not comfortable with, eg legion who i recently picked up. But the reason hope is on 120 second limit is for its own reasons. May i remind you that without noed, a survivor running hope is about as fast as huntress. Now, im not saying thats ridiculuous because huntress does have her range and all, but in an endgame rush where perhaps the huntress has exhausted her hatches, she cannot catch the survivor. But your point does still stand, SOMETHING needs to shake the meta up for survivors, Im starting to face consistently 2 red rank survivors in my games now that im in the green ranks (thanks matchmaking) and it usually just the same stuff. DS, Dead hard, borrowed, unbreakable etc.

I dont't like to send "hate" messages, nor do I more than one a bluemoon. But as a killer player (I don't tunnel, camp, farm or anything toxic I just wanna play the game in a way that everyone can enjoy themselves and understand they lost because of X reason and everyone can take away something from the game) but when survive with friends god loop, gen rush, toolbox rush or use toxic perks and THEN t-bag at the exit gates, or on some case deliberately come back to mess with me I do send a message to ask why. I get people can have bad games, but if i can help someone vent i guess thats helping in one way or another, and it helps me feel better even if i get a 4 escape game. It's not the toxic gameplay, but how people act about using that gameplay. I get that you gotta do what you gotta do to get bloodpoints, but is the toxicity really neccesary?

Someone pass me the pepper i got enough salt here, get on with the game please and thank you.

I wouldn't say perfect, but on the strong side. She's in that area where high level survivors find her an on off killer to play against, for example sometimes the ranged down can be strong but other than that she doesn't have anything that helps in the overall chase, more like intel and map pressure so that she can play the gens more effectively. But also in that sense, aslong as survivors are careful about infected objects and are able to fake out the plague effectively in jungle gyms, but shes strong no doubt. Just enjoy her while you can, some would rather rip her down and have her nerfed into oblivion.

Thanks for your comments guys I'll take em all into consideration when i go to purchase one of these two sexy stalker senpais

Myers has much more snowball potential, but a weak early game. You get someone on the 2nd hook with myers and have a hair bow? You can freely camp them to dead. No other killer in the game has an instakill like myers, though dedicated server can make it tricky to pull off since dedicated grabs are finicky. His add-ons are way stronger than ghostface. I mained myers 2-3 years ago specifically because he gets triple the mori's of any other killer.
But ghostface is consistent throughout the entire match. He can pull off cheese myers cannot dream of.
Wraith is honestly stronger than ghostface when it comes to stealth attacks. Windstorm is a very strong add-on.
Opinion much appreciated :)

Im not saying that there isn't a latency issue, just saying that maybe you should pay more attention to your vaults. I play survivor mostly, and I dont experience this issue. Its not a "this is better than this" conversation. Just maybe focus on your own gameplay instead of coming to forums to talk about something that has been in the game since launch and most likely won't change anyways.

Well if killers are so strong and "so fast" and there are no "god loops" or barely anything.... whys the killer playerbase dwindling? I main survivor and cant blame killers for needing to abuse builds.
-
Sounds like you vault a bit too early

Killers call survivors toxic and whiny. Survivors call killers toxic and whiny. Both can be bad as the other. The fact of the matter is that "god" loops and "infinite" have been a use able factor in the game since its rise in popularity and whether survivors agree or cry, they are a bit on the strong side. There is a reason that high mobility and insta downs are meta. So you can't get to another loop and repeat the process. On the other hand, now survivors will have to create a new play-style and way of duking killers so i guess there will need to be a buff somewhere if they mass-remove the good loops. With survivors and killers being so equally toxic, bE can't win here. They're just making adjustments based on what they think will balance their game, and tbh they should do this more. Listening to the community is important, but don't balance it around your community. If you're a survivor or killer main, imagine the saltiest of the other was aloud to change the game for a week. Think about it.
