I have been trying all day, around 15 games or so, not all of them were DC's, some were just me not being able to get them all down there. (Crazy how much limiting yourself to one section of the map cripples you unless the survivors don't feel like living.)
Last 4 games in a row someone has DCed the second they see Iron Grasp/agi, unusually before a gens even done. In those games I just stopped playing and let them escape, but pretty soon im just going to DC along with them.
All I can do is just hope the next lobby has the potato survivors again.
Funny thing is that I got it when I was doing the get 5 hooks in the basement with agitation. I was in the red forest and the basement spawned in the main building. I would definitely shoot for Red Forest as it can have a generous basement

Ah okay, no worries! I just wanted to clear it up because I thought it might have seemed to someone reading your comment like the devs were planning something unusually big and special for the next Archives, which as far as we know isn't the case.
Ah, yeah. Events are pretty big to me as I just started this game so that might be it

There was an event tied to this Archive as well, so I wouldn't get your hopes up for anything more than themed cosmetics. It's likely that the next Tome's associated "event" will be the Lunar New Year, since both it and the next Archives release are due in late January.
That’s exactly what I was saying, I’m just really bad at wording things

You just add in some Christmas cosmetics because you want more money over the holidays so you can be lazy? As if doing this makes up for no Christmas event?
How does simple few Christmas cosmetics make up for a EVENT? Please do tell.
They’re making up for it with the next tome, they hinted that there’s gonna be an event tied to the next tome. On top of that, you gotta keep in mind that they are human and need their Christmas break as well. They already got a lot on their plate as they are trying out a lot of new stuff. Yeah it’s rough but I really feel that it’s gonna smooth out as things go along. This game is way better than when it first came out and I think that’s a good measure for how things are gonna go.

Medical journal 13/12/19.
A patient reported to me today with these symptoms:
-Not having fun
-Seeing gens go too quickly
-Told me about some strange bug no-one else has seen that made him dizzy.
I immediately diagnosed the symptoms of 'burnout' and prescribed 4 weeks rest from Dead by Daylight and a course of 'Civilisation'.
Haha. Yeah, I probably should give the game a break. I work about 35 hours a week and try to have fun in this game after work. Maybe I should change things up a bit

The fact that some survivors have exploited bugs in the past—while equally scummy—is not an excuse for killers to be freely exploiting the basement bug... and acting like it's their God-given right to do it at that, just because they got hit with a DS their last game. (Pro tip: you can literally counter DS by not tunneling. Wild, I know.)
Stop making excuses for cheap exploits. It's garbage *no matter who does it* the end.
But even if you’re not tunneling you can still get hit with ds because the other person you went after got downed within that minute timer.
