I started playing DBD on XBOX about 2 months ago and only play killer. I was slowly getting used to the game and felt pretty comfortable with a couple of killers. i took a break for a few weeks and decided to pick it up again today. I tried cross play for about 5 games and felt like I barely had control of the killer. The survivors felt like they were buzzing around me like flies and I couldn't hit anyone at all. It was an awful experience and really put me off the game. After reading this forum I will try again tomorrow but turn the cross play feature off in the hope that it will feel normal again.

I think the game should be able to tell if you are camping the hook or not. So if you hook someone and for whatever reason the survivors don't rescue them but you also don't camp the hook you should score points as if it's 3 hooks on that survivor. If the killer leaves the hooked survivor and somehow manages to keep all 3 other survivors occupied so they can't rescue their friend on the other side of the map he should be rewarded not punished.

I think the NOED hex should appear when there is one gen left so you have a chance to cleanse it before it's active.

I can try to help. Ed Gein murdered 2 people in 1954/1957. The majority of his crimes was defouling graves for skin tissue and bones. Living relatives of the victims did not protest the making of ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’, so I’m sure they were not going to protest a videogame character.
Zodiac killer has murdered 37, in the late 1960s...big difference from FeatherLace’s 2 murders. Acknowledging him in a game mathematically has a 16x more likely to have complaints or issues from the victims’ surviving relatives.
Also, Leatherface is based off the ‘Texas Chainsaw’ franchise killer. A movie, although slighty based on a true story...highly elevated from dramatic effect. Imagine if Devs made his power ripping off survivors’ faces to wear them as a Mori kill.
Distasteful is distasteful. Although you may argue that we base the Zodiac Killer off of the movie version, that movie was NOT an exaggeration of the facts like Texas Chainsaw was.
My point is that nearly every form of art has taken inspiration for terrible things that have happened in history. Personally I don't see why games would be any different. It doesn't have to be the zodiac killer but it could definitely take inspiration from that killer.

Leatherface is based on a real serial killer called Ed Gein. For that reason I don't see why they can't create a killer inspired by the Zodiac killer. Lots of films and books are based on real events so why should games be any different.

I'm new to this game and am learning to play killer. I have seen these crown things in the game but I have no idea what they do so I've just been ignoring them. I don't tunnel and I don't camp the hooks once I have hooked someone yet I have received more hate messages in my first 8 hours with this game than I have had in the last 12 months in all other games put together. It does appear to be a very toxic game to play 😂
