People who DC in those cases usually also refuses to participate the rest of the round or force to kill themselves in the same scenarios, which is worse for the rest of the players. DCing replaces that player with a bot at least. The solution is even simpler when the killer is the one who DCs. So the question which remains is what case is worse.
Don't try to make believe reporting hackers actually works. Everyone knows it does nothing. The amount of hackers in the game stays the same simply because they ban (if they do ban) ACCOUNTS, not HACKERS. On the other hand, there's even several posts and videos where players show they've reported hackers properly and nothing is done about it (I include myself in that lot).I believe it's actually better, considering the unbearable amount of hackers in the game, to investigate why people DC and sanction accordingly AFTER it's found out that the reason why they did it is unjustified, than banning automatically. Besides, auto-ban treats everyone as potentially guilty because it does not differentiate those who do it because of intolerable behaviours of others from those who commit unsportsmanlike conducts.
