BBQ is absolutely fine, easily countered and for the killer, makes it a bit more bare-able to have a bad match but still walk away with decent bloodpoints.
-
Absolutely ridiculous. You need to learn to play Spirit before coming up with things like this and you'll be a lot happier going against her, trust me. She used to be one of my most hated killers to face because I had no idea what to even try in order to counter her until i actually started to play her...now I do way better and actually enjoy facing her because I have a better understanding of the mindgames Spirit players try to pull.
If you take sounds away from her, she might as well just be deleted from the game.

What for? Like Nea's and Feng's? Or something to reference the current times? That'd be a bit distasteful wouldn't it since it's a pandemic not a fashion statement.

By that same logic, you don't know that they're getting the crash. They could be quitting because of an offering. However, my money's on the vast majority of them quitting because of an offering, so the penalty makes sense.
That's fair enough and we're both entitled to our opinions, but it still stands that I believe penalties should be reinstated when this crash error is fixed. They're looking into it now so fingers crossed it IS just them DCing and not getting bugged out.

well, waiting for bs load finish and restarting the game will let u wait man only a minute or something.
thats nothing for the timewaste with all that map and mori quitter.
That's the thing, you don't know that they're quitting because of an offering, they might be getting the crash. Penalties will be back but it wouldn't make sense to reinstate them until this error is fixed, you're lucky to not be getting it but many people are.

No, but if we followed that logic we'd live in total anarchy. False positives will always happen with every system because no system is 100% perfect. That's no reason to throw out every system.
I know that but right now there's a nasty bug causing many many people to blue screen either while loading or actually playing the game, penalties should be introduced once this bug has been fixed.
-
My friend blue-screened due to the latest patch bugs, does she deserve a penalty for that? ๐

As much as I'd like to agree with this, players don't care much about rank anymore because it doesn't have a direct impact on matchmaking like it used to...it doesn't mean anything to be rank 1 these days because literally anyone can get there and STILL play like a rank 20 who's just bought the game.
We'll see though.
-
It's a nice idea but I feel like this would just add more options for BMing one another. We can all already nod yes and shake no.
-
It's a predator vs prey game.
Naturally, prey animals have their eyes on the sides of their heads for a near 360 vision to stop any potential predator ambushes. Predators have theirs on the front of their heads for a focused line of vision once they hone in on their prey.
It's absolutely on you if you're getting spun on by survivors, you need to play both sides and realise that looping and juking is the only defense survivors have against killers since they can't fight back. You're playing a killer...learn to outplay them, it gets easier as you get better and practice is definitely needed to get better a this game or you're going to get dunked on, on both sides.
They're not cheating by juking you, they're just using what they have in order to survive, so use what you have and stop them.
-
I had this exact idea so long ago, really wish we could exchange our unwanted items and maybe some offerings like mist bottles etc. for half bloodpoint value. I would play so much more than I do now.

Nah it's probably a glitch then. I would throw it in the bug report section https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/categories/bugs
Thank you, I'll do that. Appreciate you guys taking the time to discuss with me.

How many cakes do you have? They may have set a limit on how many a character can hold in their inventory. If you have an even number like 10, 20, 30, ect., you might consider using one in your next match and seeing if you get any on your next blood web.
Most of my characters have between 5 and 20, I keep using them every match but not getting any back. Am I being too greedy? ๐ I just love bloodpoints...

I'm still getting the cakes, so it may be a bug for some survivors.
Would make sense, maybe I'm just having some bad luck. I got loads last week

Did you try levelling with a diffrent character?
I literally have all my bloodwebs on all characters with one or two items left in each, so when I buy them, it gives me a fresh bloodweb but honestly, I think I got only two or three cakes out of ALL survivors together earlier. I'm big sad
-
God forbid people want to socialise and play their favourite game with their friends.
-
I haven't got any for so many bloodwebs, bit disheartening because those are what I'm grinding for until the end of the event.
