I can confirm that on my PS4 Pro, it is working after the update. For me, it went from the screen with the Trapper where it shows all the developers and then immediately goes to the screen showing the version where you have to hit X to continue. It then loads the Nick Cage video and you then have to be a little patient. I got a little worried at first, but it did go into the game. @ScorpseClown I had also wondered if it might be today as the bug fix patches after the last chapter were the following Tuesdays. So glad it worked out! Very disappointed with the process used here for moderators not to provide help and to send us to Support who couldn't just say we are working on a fix that we hope will be out by August 1st. Instead, Support was no help at all and didn't even try to resolve the issue for users. To be fair, the moderators are just a frontline and I don't blame them, but support was a joke with this issue.
Patiently waiting to see how our week of struggle and without the game becomes balanced by BHVR. I personally would prefer something more than Bloodpoints because those are easy enough to come by now. While it's not likely that we would get auric cells, something along the lines of giving us free premium track in the rift, awarding us x many levels in the current rift or providing enough rift fragments to unlock said levels, or providing shards to use in the store. Those are my ideas.

Just confirming that I'm also receiving the same canned response from support. If the full fix will be in the coming week as Jocelynbee mentions, that is acceptable for me, but still disappointing to have to wait that long since there's been no DBD for PS4 players since the launch on July 25th. For reference, this is what Support is saying, which doesn't provide a fix and basically says they'll get back to us when they feel like it:

I definitely understand that I'm not the only one who has submitted a ticket, but sucks to receive no timeline for the manual fix that Rizzo, Mandy, and Jocelynbee say support will provide, thus having to keep waiting. Just wanting the mods to know that Support is not providing a manual fix as you are saying they will. If anyone has received this canned response and then actually received a manual fix, please post so we know what kind of timeframe to prepare for.

Forum response says that video file extensions aren't allowed. Just pictures and zip files.

It's morning of July 26th for me. I experienced the same issue when trying to get on at 9pm MTN on the 25th and it has persisted through the morning following the 7.1.0 update for the Nick Cage release. I also have a PS4, for which it sounds like the issue is isolated to since some have reported DBD working on PS5. Hoping a patch or some instruction to fix this is released soon. I saw one person mention the PS4 system update. In my case, I applied the PS4 update after the DBD 7.1.0 update had completed. My PSN ID is Coolcat_Kyle
