  • This is all ludicrous. Killer is the power role now. It's not like the old days of BT, Infinites, etc. Killers can easily keep track of survivors and surviving is difficult. Swf is needed now more than ever. Red rank killer and survivor over 1000 hours of gameplay. Killers need to ease up. Survivors need to ease up. We need to start treating this as a game that should be enjoyed and not one to frustrate people. Swf can make a fool out of bad killers. Killers can make winning impossible for any group of survivors. Let's just try to get along. Everyone is too sweaty. These stupid challenges aren't making the toxicity any better. Everyone's got a basement build and survivors are sand bagging to get unhooks at end game. Not too mention matchmaking, on consoles at least, are jank. I'm red rank survivor and shouldn't be pitted against rank 10 or 13. Maybe we're losing killers. Idk but it seems likely. The only killers still on these days are try hards. Surviving is no longer a measurement of "winning." At red rank you pip thats a win in my book. Surviving is only good for 5 or 7k more points.

  • Yeah. Boring and even more toxic as challenges force players to go to extremes to complete it. I've seen people body block at end game for a chance to unhook.

Have an open-mind before you start a discussion. I opened one on Killers and Tunneling and I’m a killer main against it.

Its entirely the players decision if they want to play on a certain map. I don’t lobby dodge because I enjoy being challenged and well-versed across the board. But PMing a player for leaving BEFORE the match starts is petty. Move on to the next.

Nobody is making excuses except for you. It seems you’re mad because you didn’t get the opportunity to attempt to bully a killer on a map they’re probably not good at.

LMAO His argument is just as solid as yours in the tunneling forum. If you can whine so can the OP. Hypocrisy is petty. And an open mind? How about they take a look at your thread and see if you have an "open mind." Smdh

  • Dude just play kill your friends. That way you don't have to worry about skill.

  • Dude you're here trying to shame people for playing a certain way. Trying to punish aka "penalize" is shaming just in a sanctimonious fashion. Let alone all the other ######### you're spewing. Boo hoo you got tunnelled and think it's unfair. Now you can go back to whatever point you are trying to make. And I know people who are quitting because of the battle pass. So if you're telling me the player base is fine then how do we both know people quitting because of the direction the games going? Anyway you have a bone up your ass over this so just keep whining. I'mma let you go.

  • Yada yada yada. This game has aspects no one likes. Every tactic that didn't abuse a glitch or bug is valid. Let's not pretend rank means anything. I've camped and tunnelled before. I would bet at least 95% of players have done it and the other 5% are liars. Sure it sucks but the survivors have all the tools they need to make it suck for killer. Can't we all just admit this game sucks sometimes and try our best to change our reactions to it? Shaming others for how they play isn't gonna solve these problems. In fact it'll just make them double down and maybe even stop playing. "Well it's fine if they stop they're baby killers who camp." This game has a declining player base and we need all the killers we can get. Campers or not. Campers turn into non campers once they notice the point difference. Tunneling is just gonna keep happening. Too many factors go into play when it comes to it.

  • Here's my pitch. Try and switch Freddy to Englund's model and give him voice overs! Like a "welcome to my nightmare" when you enter dream or something. Lots of great quotes to use. At least a laugh when you drop a fake pallet.

I'm gonna post this before I read anymore of these comments. Your post clearly accentuates the OP original point. Lmao Otherwise no clarification for a perk needed.

I'll further extend my point. If no clarification for a perk is needed, then no clarification for any action is needed. I agree. Except for insidious basement bubba builds. Yes you can laugh at the irony.

In spirit, yes you are correct.

Just clarification, slugging when someone has DS is totally fine.

I'd say set locations, in obvious areas. And instead of toolboxes, make them into toolbelts so that they don't compete with other items. So, say, have them be hanging on walls, from trees in maps without many buildings, etc. Make it so that two always spawn near the entrance of the basement, and at least one always spawns in each of the map's setpiece locations. So, say, on the map with the slaughterhouse, one will spawn in the pig room, another will spawn on the cow tree, and (I can't recall if this is on this map) one will spawn on one of the threshers.

Put most of them in places that are relatively safe for survivors, and give something similar to killer instinct to a survivor when they're looking at one of the belts. The point isn't really to waste their time looking for them, but to give them something else to consider before they start slamming gens.

Really, I'm not super big on the additional time this task would take from survivors, but I like how it feels like it would make the match more dynamic. The survivors would feel more like they worked and earned the victory if they were able to claim these belts and have things actually change because of them, instead of just getting lucky enough to be able to sit on a generator until it pops.

Man, I had the first idea. Make them set locations. That I was gonna post, but you had to be all awesome with it and add the toolbelt bit. Love it. Love you. Love. Just wish there was something else to do in the game other than sit or loop.

  • I have an idea to balance DS. Once you use it you are now able to be mori'd.
