yeah its bad on both ends the general tip is the upper middle

around this part of the screen is where you will reveal ghostface but dedicated servers can make it alot more difficult.

this is because its not in what you see that matter, nor what the ghost faces sees its what the server see.

To try and simplify it both you and the killer see your own versions of a map and everyones position however they arnt the "true" positions of any characters or camera. the "true" version of the world is what the server interprets and it takes information from all 5 players inputs and while they are usually okay, everyone sending their inputs gets delayed depending on ping which can shift the "true" position of characters and thats what controls the reveal mechanics. which can lead to situations where you really shouldnt reveal ghostface as well as the opposite which is far easier to notice as techniquelly not all of your screen should reveal ghostface. to be fair this can also benefit survivors as ghost face's lean works on the same system and can often force the ghostface to try to lean multiple times and mess it up.

also to follow this up i forgot to mention only his upper body can be revealed so if its just the legs in the reveal zone it wont work. this is probably to increase how it works crouched ghostface

it feels like you have to stare at a ghost face for centuries to snap him out now idk what patch or change made this. But I can sit there and look at him for ages and not snap him out, I just played a game, shined my flashlight on him yet he was still stalking me. Not just that game too it happens all the time. Is this on purpose or are we planning to change it?

They could legit just have the 3% not stack with anything. If you get hope, only the haste from hope and so on. Still good to use but not overbearing at the end.

thats fair however in my opinion that would be a far greater change and one where im not sure how well it is as it becomes a net nerf on all haste perks. not just made for this and hope. To me the reason these 2 are so overbearing is how reliable and easy their activation states are, combined with the fact they they have no time limit to them. Dark Theory also has no time limit but requires you to be in a boons range and set up the boon in the first place and despite also combining with hope to make 110% it hasnt been a problem. It could also be with how they change it, it could also apply to killers who use stacked haste much more often and would nerf alot of non ploblematic, fun and, unique perk synnergies

That would be a fair way to prevent it stacking with Hope I think. But a lot of players complaints are about it's effect in chase. I don't necessarily agree with that, but I feel those complaints will get the perk nerfed more than just during endgame. If the perk is going to get a more general nerf anyway, I'm not sure this idea is needed as well.

yeah I agree but I feel like 3 percent isnt really that much especially given how it can't be combined with other exhaustion perks as it will automatically deactivate like a majority of a time a 150 at the start of a chase is gonna be more effective than than 3 percent throughout a chase unless its combined with deadhard but even then it deactivates when you use deadhard
