The nerf to moris is so basic that it could've been done years ago if it was such a health problem to do it right now. And the nerf to keys was promised at the same time with the first moris nerf several years ago, enough time to get even something this complex done.

  I agree with you. However if keys were nerfed before moris, there would be the same amount of an outcry. Personally I believe that both items should have been temporarily taken out of the game or disabled while they are being fixed. I know many games who do that. But what irritates me is people who get so angry about it. It's a game after all. And a quite toxic one at that. It requires skill for the most part, well that is unless you use these items.
