  • Holding the game hostage is very much a bannable offence, just report them and hope they look into it.

  • My philosophy is that in competitive games you should always "expect the meta"(ruin undying, ds, swf, etc.) when playing, because, duh the opponent is trying to win, so are you, and they are going to use the best tools available to them in order to achieve that, call them cheap, lazy, crutches whatever, in the end if they end up winning who gets the last laugh?. And until you stop complaining about why people play the meta and instead focus on how you, yourself can beat it, you are not going to have a better time

  • For new players the thrill of not being caught and escaping is the most fun way to play hence why most of them play immersed since the game is quite scary first few times you play, when you played for quite a few hours it becomes more about winning which is doing gens and playing efficient, but even escaping every time becomes old to people with thousands of hours so the only fun they get is by getting into chases and thats it, dying living means nothing to them anymore

  • Yet another example of survivor entitlement.

  • "Man my entire team got downed in minutes by a leatherface, could it be that we got outplayed?...nah there must be a problem with slugging yeah that must be it!"

  • Bhvr said they been gathering player data so mmr wouldnt start at 0, they been working on this for months they had the means, there are 0 excuses, this shouldn't had come out as bad as it did and people have all the right to be mad at that

Are you playing the same killer... If so how many games have you played as that killer

    It does matter

As you can see from my p3 outfit i played pyramid head a fair amount

  • Basically what everyone else said, you waste too much time chasing one survivor gens will just fly, now yes you may abandon them but they wont always be in that powerfull area and position, you are setting yourself up for better chases in the long run

  • Well considering farming is a reportable offence, no its never okay to farm lol, but seriously speaking farming is boring as hell, on top of that killers need to understand that you always end up with less points than you would had if you played normaly since you let everyone go at the end.

You can't just compare Hag Trap or Trapper's Trap to Torment of Trail...

The Limitations are there for a REASON...

    • Hooks & Generators = Imagine surrounding an entire gen with your power and now everyone is afflicted by torment, no need to use your brain
    • Same thing with Exit Gates and Hatches = Imagine you're in a 1v1 but no... the killer put Trails of Torment around the exit gates, now whenever you try to open he'll know instantly where you are cause he'll get an audio que + a visual que of your heartbeat that you are there.
    • Mainly it's to avoid having a very scummy playstyle...
    • However there are loopholes around this, and I thought of only 2 maps so far. Lery's and Hawkins. Just put the Trail of Torment when you get out of Lery's hospital in the doorway. Or in the hallways on Hawkins.

You can crouch over the trial on lerys and hawkins lol, its not even a loophole

  • Play ghosgface or other stealthy killer, ergo, suddenly its not such a good perk

  • "Nooo you can't remove our op loops! You are supposed to chase us until window is blocked everytime!"

    Haha m1 killers go swingg

  • Im currently rank 1 killer and yeah i enjoy most of my games, sure there will be the occasional sweaty ass swf that stick to gens like glue but most times games are enjoyable outside of it, my tips are simply to recognize good survivors cant be killed on strong map tiles, so your best bet is to get people on the hook and punish greedy plays, dont let them get away with healing on the hook, dont chase survivors for longer than a minute, early on stablish what gens you are going to work on defending, check your surroundings after downing or hooking someone, hope your matches improve!

  • No, let people play how they want and stop asking people to play under the survivors rulebook for killers

Devs will never ban tunneling or camping they said it themselves get used to it

  • Like it or hate it camping is a strategy killers will use, maybe come into the match prepared for that situation with bt or some team coordination instead of crying about killers camping on the forums

  • You really think ranks mean anything do ya.

  • Sometimes, when the match went really well, the chases where fun, or the survivor was cute or carried,

That being said i never allow toxic survivors who teabag and point in chases to live willingly

  • No. Not all swf are sweaty tryhards some people just wanna have fun with friends, alot dont even talk about the match in question and centrally not every single swf uses coms. Why should people be punished for that?

  • No, old bt would let people unhook safely 100% of the time with 0 chance for the killer to stopping it even if they do it in his face, the killer shouldn't be punished for going after the unhooker

Btw, I practically never face the Perk myself, but use it loads, so I gotta ask...

Do Survivors know they're Exposed immediately after getting your 3rd Token, or is it after the first hit you land?

Also, does Exposed still pop up when your first hit is on an Injured Survivor?

Survivors dont know they are exposed until they actually get hit by your m1, which is why some killers like chainsaw wielders and demogorgon can hide the devour by using theyr power beyond 3rd token

  • I always tell fellow killers this: Dont follow the official survivor rule book for killers, play how you think its the most efficient in your current situation, this includes tunneling and camping if you need make a come back. Youre not responsible for survivors enjoyment of the game
