I've experienced this several times, where I did not have a way to interact with anything anymore after that "grab"

Edit: The challenge finally marked as completed after switching to another challenge and completing that one. The source of the problem might be coming from the tracking of when a task is completed if the server finally recognize that you met the requirements during a trial. Point to consider, I went 3 consecutive trials with meeting the requirement and it wasn't marked complete until after I played a trial with a different challenge.

The issue with visible grades is the thing they're most likely to just straight reinforce is the false idea that grades = skill because far too many people conflate the current grades with the old ranks.
Well a setting, when turned on, that hides everyone's grades on your screen, but someone else with the setting off can see everyone's grades regardless.

That is only true when Steam does its maintenance starting 7PM EST while this was occurring and recorded a couple hours prior. My entire Steam friends list was active at the time without any displays of lag or maintenance.
