Just make the mods work harder 4head, of course how could I have not thought of that, my bad carry on
I wouldn't expect you to have thought of it since you have a survivor based icon, carry on indeed.

Why did you necro a 9 month old discussion
Cause I had thoughts to share. So I shared them.
If you're not supposed to talk on older posts, the mods should start archiving them.

"This might be one of those games where 4 kills doesn't mean a win"
Isn't that just the funniest ######### sentence. This game is so survivor sided that not even a 4k, your main objective, is a winning condition. You have to mess around with the survivors and let them live for a bit to get the actual 'winning' result. But you can't. There's not enough TIME to do that. This gen rush is a prime example, there weren't even any Brand New Parts. Just sad...

What rank are you? As a rank 1 killer who also plays survivor (rank 9-7, so not as great) I have the opposite experience.
The killers NEED to be fast. Survivors have many tools with which to make distance. Pallets. Dead Hard. Sprint Burst. Lithe. Being able to vault pallets which we can't even do (besides Legion). It's also worth noting, as a killer...you're on a time limit for the entire game. The moment the game starts, you're losing time to win. The survivors aren't on a time limit.
If you find killers to be too fast, use some 'second chance' perks. Try playing with friends. Decisive strike will give you a free 'try again' if you messed up. Dead Hard (when used not predictably) will let you dodge a hit. (You can also use it to run over traps and such. You're 100% invincible during it.)
Survivors are stronger than killers, in all honesty. I don't play survivor for the opposite reason. I find it to be too easy. (but that's not to say it's 100% easy)

No joke I briefly started last night prototyping something with the exact same power set. Literally a bunch of copies of the Killer on the map he can teleport too.
I think obviously you need to have a limit on how many Scarecrows there are. Maybe 4. You also need to consider how fast he can teleport. If you get to end game it would be too easy to just post him up by the gates and make it virtually impossible to actually open the gates. Honestly he probably needs a start up time and make it obvious as well when he is in what body. Maybe a fire glows in the Scarecrows eyes at first, at least until he moves. Once he moves you can start having the Heartbeat and Red Stain.
As for add-ons I had also thought of the aura's near your extra bodies one. I was thinking another one could be the ability to change bodies while still holding a survivor. The survivor would still be able to wiggle out of your left body but slower, and other survivors could help pull them out.
I dunno about making it entirely obvious. As stated above I was thinking maybe perhaps...once he teleports to one of the scarecrows, "becoming" that scarecrow, it'll stay the same, as long as the player isn't moving at all. ...But if the player does any inputs, including just turning to look or anything, the facade will start to break, perhaps with a windup animation, and creaking sounds.
I just think it'd be fun, for both sides (I'd hope). The killer getting the joy of scaring the survivors. And the survivors having a sense of dread when around the fakes, as a killer should instill.

I love the idea of a Killer that can great a false sense of safety for the survivors. Maybe we make him Teleport to a scarecrow and can move anytime, but once he does he has a build up animation to give the survivor time. Maybe add a fun Spund queue.
Jeepers Creepers dude dress up as a scarecrow in the movies and maybe you can apply to him.
He might need something else as well to keep him on the level of Freddy and Demogorgon, since they can do more than teleport.
I'm glad you like it!
A good idea would be, once this killer has 'swapped' with one of the 'fake' scarecrows, and actually begins to move, there's a startup animation, like you said. Something creepy like, it's head slowly turning, a creaking sound maybe?

P.S: I know my wording must be weird, so if anything wasn't clear, please ask!

Stop punishing survivors for being efficient lmao. You can end the game fast as either one and get little points. At least as killer if it happens you get BBQ stacks if you got it. As survivor you get #########. WGLF requires the game lasting long enough to get stacks since the requirements are higher (Actually requires risks) and being 3 perks. The BP system being based around extending the game is centered around 1) Everyone having fun and 2) Satisfying the entity per the lore. In terms of rewards survivors get far less. A bad game as killer tends to result in more BP even without BBQ stacks. No one cares about pips because the rank system is just grind. That's why the new mmr is wanted. That's also why you even won your game. It's not good matchmaking to be facing a rainbow just like its not when its a yellow killer against far higher ranks.
You're not being punished at all. You're making a choice to end it faster. If you cared about maxing your emblems you'd just go play with your food basically till they served their purpose and kill them. That doesn't mean you go turn it into a farm game for them. That means you focus on what you want out of it and me personally I also use the time to try new things.
The problem with the point system for killer is only with the malicious emblem but I guess the same could be said about survival emblem for survivor. Every other emblem can be maxed fairly easily for killer. -You- are fully capable of controlling whether you pip or not in games you won.
Everything you said is factually wrong. It's even listed on the main damned site that you're objective as killer, is to kill.
I'm not talking about BP anyway, I'm talking about RANK, the PIPPING system, did you not read the post? I bet you didn't, you're likely just another toxic survivor main who tbags at the gates, refusing to leave unless the killer watches you click your dipshit little flashlight.
So I'm not going to take anything you say seriously, since, as a survivor main, you're entitled and probably want a dead-hard buff that lets you stun the killer. This is the only reply you're getting out of me, as you don't deserve any more than this. Bye.

I play both survivor and killer and this does sound stupid, but I think it's fair.
If there's a match where the killer wins super fast, it's not fun for the survivors and in some cases it's not fun for the killer either.
But everyone thinks differently.
Personally the game is only a win for me as killer if I get more than 20k points and at least 2 kills.
I can kinda see yer point of view. I disagree highly with how 'fair' it might be. But I definitely see what you mean
-
TLDR; if a killer operates at max efficiency, they get punished. If a survivor operates at even half of what's expected of them, they can at least get some benefits.
Let no one tell you this game isn't survivor biased. It is. And the devs themselves even admitted it, don't forget that part.

Dead By Daylight: Dying since 2016
Hence why I said "Dying slowly"
-
P.S; The current shift of things also causes Survivor mains to feel a little entitled...
The downside suggestion in this post isn't even really a downside, since a stun is typically upwards of 3 seconds, which is more than enough time for the tackler to escape after that. Plus imagine if it was someone with a flashlight? Flashlight save, into tackle stun, etc. We already deal with ds into headon stuns
-
You legitimately get to keep everything you go in with, if you survive.
Killers get to keep nothing, regardless of how well they do. Killers can barely get ONE PIP unless they were performing at max efficiency. Survivors can die and still get a pip.
Survivors are overpowered, stop bitching just cause you know the devs favor survivors. If you don't like it, play killer. Don't wanna play killer? I wonder why. Because it's not fun, right? Because survivors get out in a manner of mere minutes?
Sit the ######### down and shut up LMAOOOO. B y e

OP already forgot the ruin nerf I guess.
Survivors won't be happy until they have the ability to actually kill the killer.

Lemme guess...survivor main? Tbag behind pallets? Wait around at the exit gates until the VERY last second because you're so desperate for that "haha funny" tbag?
Yeah...move along people, no one to take serious around here. Just a whiny ######### who had his easy win taken from him since the survivors got a nerf for once. Whine more or get good, you pathetic, childish, crybaby #########. LMAOOOOOO😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
