  • Head-on sometimes does not work before the killer grabs you out if the locker and is easy to bait out.

Dead Hard hardly works and is hugely complained about because people get hit through it constantly. It really needs to be fixed. You can also bait it out quite easily.

All I get from this is you're being a bit whiny, DS is the only one that can really be complained about, the other 2 are both exhaustion perks that can be baited out easily and don't work consistently.

  • It can be a good perk if you use it right. I remember in one chase on coal tower where I pallet slammed the killer, fast vaulted through a window, made scratch marks towards the opposite side, then urban evaded as the killer got the near the window and up the stairs. They ended up losing me. I was playing Nea and just sat upstairs waiting until they left, that saved me a hook state.

  • You act like red ranks survivor is fun. I play both sides and neither at Red ranks at the greatest. I face toxic, whiny killers all the time that blame their character for messing up instead of themselves and survivors who think they're the best and can't die. Red ranks means nothing and takes no skill to get there anymore, if you've never heard a survivor say this, then you've got the world's shittiest memory, but "Don't go to Red ranks, enjoy (low rank)." Red ranks takes no skill to get there anymore and people that have rank 8 skills are at rank 3. Also, everyone has crutch perks and add-ons, like iri huntress, tinkerer + ruin + undying, DS + unbreakable, brand new parts (since syringes aren't run as much since they're not particularly worth it).

  • Gens aren't really an issue, it's more so the fact that survivors have nothing else to do. Chests and totems aren't worth much and without being chase, the only option left is to do gens and get out.

  • The button has to be there in case there is an actual emergency and you have to leave. I remember once that during a game, my cat started wailing and crying really loud and gagging, so of course I left the match because she was crying louder than I'd ever heard her and trying to get my attention. I had an emergency with my cat getting sick and had to leave, so if things randomly come up and it's an actual emergency, then there should always be an option to get out of the match, penalty or not.

  • I would definitely say Freddy, he's easy and powerful. Another killer I personally consider high tier (of which I do also play) is Doctor, because of his insane ability to shut down loops instantly, as well as his ability not being too hard to learn, at least in my experience, as long as you can time it. With Doc, you just have to be careful because if you play any other killer, you'll probably get rolled when it comes to looping unless they're absolute planks. With Doc, don't play just solely him. But dream snare Freddy is definitely the easiest and very strong.

    P. S. I might be a bit biased and think Doc is better than he easy because I do play him alongside Oni and Huntress.

  • 0 both ways because I'm a dumbass.

  • I never kill myself on hook unless it's me and someone else so they get the hatch, but the survivors are probably sick of going against you. Some people get a ton of Bubba, Legion, Pig, etc. and probably just don't want to play that killer anymore. Or they find you boring and just want to move on to the next game.

  • If you're struggling to get any kills and keep pressure, then you're just too high in the ranks/being matched with players who have played more and have more skill/awareness. BW isn't a must if a killer can keep pressure down and get kills before all the gens pop.

  • In my opinion, it's not really fair because most survivors ignore totems because either they can't find them due to hellish totem spasms (like on Lerys) or just because cleansing totems wastes a lot of time, and NOED can bring a game back for a killer who's doing #########. A killer can get a couple hooks only, but once exits activate they could get a 2k. ######### killers can go from having a 0k to 2k and above. Noed isn't too bad unlike some perks, but it definitely rewards and can tremendously help killers who fail miserably during a match.

  • Adding tokens to exhaustion perks is complete bullshit. I play both sides and as a killer, I don't care about exhaustion perks because I can still catch them quick most of the time, or I just leave to apply more pressure around the map. Exhaustion perks already have cool downs, that's like adding tokens to unrelenting, just makes 0 sense.

Oh yeah, let's nerf every other good/decent survivor perk so DS + Unbreakable becomes more meta than before! Yeehaw, we are very smart.

  • Don't tunnel unless necessary because you need to apply split pressure and pressure all survivors. Don't overcommit to chases and if you are near multiple people at once, slug and apply pressure to all of them.

  • Solution: Disable crossplay or quit whinging about console players and their habits.

  • You do realize that all survivors have to do in a game is get chased by the killer or do gens, right? Most people ignore totems and not many chests spawn on a map, even then some people ignore those. Survivors have only gens and getting chased by the killer. Solo queue is also a complete joke and nobody knows what their teammates are doing because barely anyone runs bond or any other perks to see each other. If you're not doing gens, you are being useless to your team unless you are taking the killer on a long chase. SWFs are different if they're on comms because they know whether each other is on a gen or not, so they can just knock out gens as fast as they want. Solo queue doesn't really have gen rushing because they don't know what or where their teammates are and just want to be efficient.

Would you prefer a 45 minute game of survivors stealthing and hiding in lockers, or for them to actually work on gens? There's only 2 options.

Flip it around, this like asking why killers are getting 4 hooks a gen and calling it "kill rushing." Just because an objective is being done quick does not mean they are sweating or want to get out of the game as quick as possible, they're just not being complete dipshits.

  • I never play with meta perks so probably all of the less popular perks, but I really love head on + quick & quiet just because it's fun to mess around with. For killer, I don't play much but currently I'm playing perkless to improve my pig, doc, and oni.

  • You're not fully wrong, but I think the main thing wrong about Spirit is when she phases, especially during chase. During chase, when she phases, you don't really know if she's phasing or standing still. Lots of Spirits just stand still and wait to see if the survivor runs right into them, or if they don't, then the Spirit can phase and catch them. The thing I think, personally, needs to be changed, is there has to be more indication when she's phasing in a chase rather than using a flashlight to burn her retinas out. The footsteps she makes while phasing are really faint, I think they should be louder, and maybe some sort of sounds/movement that's not too noticeable, but if you're paying attention you'll see it when standing up close to her. Her husk and her standing animation being the same makes it hard to tell what she's actually doing, and make sounds/footsteps when she's phasing louder. Also, not sure if it's just me, but even when I'm at the distance when I should hear her phasing, I don't. The sounds sometimes doesn't start, or it starts really late, but it would be nice if that were fixed, too.

  • I made an account purely for this. I have no shame in it.

Alright, today I was playing on Midwich against a PH. It was me and one other guy left, the other two died pretty early and we still had about 2-3 gens left. I was looping PH, and I'm not the greatest looper, but sometimes I do well. I ended up going down after ending up at an unsafe pallet. The other survivor was hiding in a locker in the courtyard. PH stared at me and I was literally just spinning on circles on the ground, waiting to die, because I was kinda over it since I'd had survivors doing nothing (like an Adam urban-evading, someone hiding in corners, etc.) He backed away and I just crawled after him every time he stepped away, pretty much chasing him until he picked me up. I didn't struggle, like I said, I was kinda done with the game, and the other guy was hiding in the locker, probably had been the entire time. Instead of hooking me, the PH walked around with me on his shoulder, carrying me like a child for a couple solid minutes. The only time he dropped me was to search lockers. He kept dropping me on hatch and picking me up again to go searching again, until eventually he dropped me in the hallway to check a room and I crawled in the general area of the courtyard. The other guy had crows he had been doing nothing for so long, and you could hear those things loud and clear. The PH found him, grabbed him right out the locker, and hooked him. He then picked me up, the other guy was struggling, and he ended up smacking the guy with his sword and the guy eventually let go. The PH then gave me hatch. That made me feel really happy after having a kinda crap game because the other 3 survivors had done nothing, and they went down in a couple seconds every chase. They also sand-bagged me before while they were healthy and I was injured. Honestly, I needed that, because I was getting sick of getting nothing from games where I was doing well and other people were doing nothing, so I love that PH.
