I don't stream personally because I get social anxiety, I don't think I'd be very entertaining lol. As for comp, there's like no reason for me to? There's not really any money in it and I don't find comp that interesting. I don't think my winning streak is that crazy I'm probably at around 35 wins in a row with hag and twins each as I alternate between the two and I know I'm nowhere near any records or anything. I mean I know Dowsey did like 200 wins in a row with Twins when they first came out and they were much worse and much more buggy then.

Dude honestly nobody sees twins or hag anymore, and either don't know how to play against them or don't like playing against them because most of them slug, tunnel, camp, etc so they just go next.

But in general, I mostly play survivor and a good bit of huntress. The main groups I struggle with on killer are swfs, they're more coordinated and know when to play defense for a team mate who's about to get sacrificed. But if it's a group of solo players... When I play solo, barely anyone is on gens, most of the game people are hiding or trying to sandbag someone else to get the killer off of them,, following the killer so they can try for a cheeky blind, or go next/DC immediately after they get hooked.

Point being, if you actually did have a 35 4k streak, it's probably a mix of the killers you play and survivors not wanting to deal, and getting uncoordinated teams.

  • To be honest, I don't see the game going anywhere anytime soon. Killer Clowns? Nobody talks about it anymore. TCM? Nobody plays anymore. No game holds the market like DBD does. If people want a multiplayer Killer v Survivor, dead by daylight still reigns. The main change I've seen is Marvel Rivals. People from several games have flocked to it. Once the hype goes down more for that, we'll likely see more players returning. And now that the winter event is passing, I'm sure we'll see a rise in player return as well since most games around event modifiers tends to include a lot of slugging and un fun game play on both sides, or farming which can be quite boring after a few games. Don't get me wrong, dbd has its issues and has for a while, but for as many players as it loses it gains back just as many. There's so much content it's hard to not pull people in, the only main stop gap I'd say is the looping skills level and the sheer overwhelming number of perks.

  • Respectfully, as someone who plays both sides, and plays swf and solo equally, this is a horrible idea. While killers in higher MMR tend to struggle more, that is not majority of the player base. Survivors in lower-medium MMR range continue to struggle against the full aura or gen build killers who slug or camp and tunnel most games, and can maybe get two gens done before they're down to the las survivor. If you think corrupt should be base kit, just run corrupt. The problem isn't the base gen speed, it's the additional this survivors can bring in. The problem with buffing one side and significantly nerfing the other is that the other side will always be raging about it until they get a compensating buff, which just turns into a cycle of everyone getting back and forth nerfed then buffed. If anything, nerf the items that increase the gen speeds. Getting a gen done in 20 seconds is kind of ridiculous, but corrupt won't stop that.
