  • wasting 30 seconds searching everywhere for a survivor then realizing in post game I got pebbled.

  • Usual build is Borrowed Time, bond, kindred, and prove thyself. play solo red ranks on pc. when some angry killer is trying to camp, it feels pretty satisfying to help a teammate out. BT works well most of the time. cloaked wraith, freddys dream, and crouching pig can mess with it as most know but its a perk I run to be clutch when its needed.

  • I wouldn't hang around end game chat long if they start mouthing off. pretty rare that they listen to what you have to say at that point. just move on to the next

  • back in the day you didn't have to be hooked to get hit by a mori. Nerfing moris again seems unlikely.

  • if you run deliverance you'd better have d strike. no killer likes a kobe even if its guaranteed.

  • imagine how long queues would be if people couldn't play with their friends. big chunk of playerbase just left and never looked back.

Rank is just a number. I crushed a team of rank 4-6 as a rank 10 killer, but I got crushed by a team of rank 15's with thousands of hours in the game.

This is the right mindset. I've seen rank 20s that took an extended time off and were still good. I've seen red rankers throwing games for fun and memes. I've seen a friend give up his keyboard and mouse to his girlfriend to try to play DBD for the first time at purple ranks and she couldn't hit one successful skill check in 3 games. Rank is only a number, and if you aren't having fun just stop and play something else. For sure don't throw shade at devs, they do what they can. It is not possible to make everyone happy at the same time.

  • lol, this reset felt like every other, to me at least. Was at rank 4 most of the month and de pipped to 5 before reset(not purposefully just some bad games) which put me at 9 after reset. Going to take some time to climb back to red but I don't mind. I only play for fun. Complaining is for nerds.

  • lol these streamers crack me up. its 2019. The perks and killer in this video are old news. Yes its good but its been good for awhile. the reason you dont see this build much is because it uses a ultra rare addon.

  • This might be too crazy an idea but cut me some slack took me 2 minutes to think of it.

Add a new mechanic(not perk) when a gen gets completed by survivors within 32 m of the killer the survivors who worked on the gen are exposed for 30 secs and this effect goes away if the killer gets a succesful hit it that time (if on one of the exposed survivors)

Add a mechanic when a killer kicks a gen it regresses 5% instantly and then regresses like normal. if paired with pop this would be 30%

This way theres a bit of counterplay (waiting to complete gen at risk of it regressing more than normal) (killer gets a little extra power if he almost got to gen in time and survs are too quick)

  • when a player masters the killer role, gens could be 30 secs to complete and it still wouldn't matter. they'd just adjust bring noed and blood warden ruin and slug til everyones down.ez 4k

  • I always use borrowed time and a few weeks ago I switched it to adrenaline on my Bill and thought I made a clutch save only to see my teamate got downed again instantly. And then in the post game chat they said what kind of bill doesnt bring BT and I havent played bill since.

Also one game that stands out I was in a game with the infamous puppers cranking out a gen with him and hear a billy coming but dont know where and as I got off and ran I ran right into billy face first. Im sure a thousand people laughed at me.

I've also accidently sandbagged a few blendettes with diversion pebbles.

  • I hit greats about half the time if I am really trying. But if its vs a doctor or paired with multiple stacks of huntress lullaby I dont bother with gens until I find the totems.

  • Would love to see insidious changed. Its not very fun to play against and the camper killer lifestyle is about as toxic and unfun as it gets. I do like the ideas you thought of hopefully devs are reading too.

  • I know its a bit of a meme to nerf everything good but...at least give the spirit a vault animation and some visual cue of phasing.

  • personally I hate when she vaults and its hard to tell if shes vaulting or phasing and also the fact that shes invisible while phasing seems way too strong. If the duration or speed of phase was adjusted I might be ok with the invis but its too much for me.

  • I recently got some friends into this game because of the game pass.

They play with me (I am rank 2-4 pc survivor with 800+ hours, rank 8 xbox survivor) and they are about rank 16 after 2 weeks on xbox.

They constantly hide because they are terrified of killers, especially stealth killers like ghostface.

Even though I do a good job explaining perks and playstyles they can not loop well and they don't understand when to save, when to gens, and when to get the killers attention.... which leads to some ######### are you thinking/doing moments.

My point is, people that are new are going to do some weird things and they wont make sense to a familiar gamer. Trying to make sense of every game is pointless.

My advice.. when you are killer in a game with survivors who absolutely suck at dbd... just try to get them to move and do some loops. Try to get them to participate in gameplay without downing them in 10 seconds.

They will appreciate it and they may want to continue playing.

Side note, after playing with a lot of low rank players on xbox I was ASTOUNDED at how many killers just camp hooks and tunnel the injured survivor to death. I am not sure if the killers don't know better or if they are just lazy but it creates an environment where survivors don't want to participate in chases or saves because it ultimately leads straight to their death AND makes it much harder to rank up.... Not sure what the fix is here but it really is quite sad.
