Someone could loop for a very long time around just one which can cover 2-3 loops, there can be a max of 4 during the trial. but also at endgame stack those with hope for more pain. Noed would be required by then provided it can even trigger.

Here is a third, thank god the killer did not have a hex perk on it though.

So... I had 14 firecrackers stored up on Kate Denson around the time tome 1 was released. It helped me with "flashlight" saves and is my go to item when I can afford it.

If getting pulled off and put back on the same hook is a problem then maybe breakdown is a good solution as it breaks the hook the killer was going to use, leaving them to go find another hook. combine this with decisive, flip-flop, or boil over.
This is why devs don't add extra measures in game to help people who are being BP farmed. because BP farming is considered a case by case basis and doesn't happen to all people. It just doesn't justify changing a game mechanic.

I don't think introducing more "repair speedup" perks into the game at the moment is a good idea. There are already quite a few options for that, and they stack pretty heavily.
At this point they already buffed prove thyself so I definitely agree.
I dunno if I like that idea. It would only benefit you on the hook and it doesn't even benefit you, but your team. While playing solo, you are often left to go into second stage 'cause no one comes to unhook you. People being able to do stuff faster may encourage them to leave you on the hook. That's just my thought on it, though. Who knows.
While yes, you risk yourself being left on the hook. its better than having an endless altruism circle of hook saving where the game ends in 5 minutes. it also means people are more likely to complete gens and come save you after.
Just trying to think of survivor perks where there is a benefit to your misfortune such as being caught by the killer or having a generator lose progress, though I suppose the point of the mechanics is solely for the determent of the survivor so perks like these would probably break the game.

Just going to add to the conversation with a screenshot, sums up how my game went. Two people with flashlights whom are pretty good at blinding in my opinion. One Generator left by games end.

Just played legion and I can say for sure that the power is not used to down a survivor. Think of it like the pigs trap, it is used to slow survivors generator speed by making them worry about things like healing.
Since survivors are most likely to be separated due to discordance, unable to hide in lockers due to iron maiden, and unable to save each other before one is hooked due to mad grit, then the only move for them is to heal (by themselves mind you) and waist time. If you want to down then simply chase a survivor closing distance with your power until that moment when your power runs out but they are next to you.
And may I just say the blood point mountain I am on after a game is just fabulous, you max deviousness, brutality, and hunting pretty much simultaneously. Just use an escape cake and you won't need to buy a copy of a teachable from the shop pretty much ever.
This of course is my opinion, and he may not be "top tier" but he is not worse that Freddy (cause he can hit survivors at will without his power).
