I didn't say it's useless. It just makes you a bad killer.

Any other suggestions to replace Thana?

    How’s this looking?

First advice I'd give is stay as far away from NOED as you can. For about 200 hours it was my single resource for applying pressure and it held me back SO MUCH from becoming a decent killer.

In 1300 hours in the game I've never seen a good killer with NOED, use tools that will help you learn more about the game. Information is key, and if you learn what kind of bluffs survivors go for, how to loop tiles and map knowledge in general will make you a much more efficient killer.

For Myers I'd recommend M&A, Infectious Fright and Sloppy Butcher+Nurse's Calling or BBQ+Pop. For Plague I really like Pop, Thana, M&A and BBQ. Thana doesn't really do much (it's a pretty useless perk) but forces some less experienced survs to cleanse since they feel like the slow down is too dramatic.

I don't play Clown so I wouldn't be able to give you good advice.

Hmm, how come it's so highly recommended if it's useless?

All 3 killers are very good at utilizing infectious fright, they can easily turn one down into multiple.

Save The Best For Last, especially when paired with infectious fright, is very strong on myers and clown.

    Also I recommend surge.

That's very helpful, means less grinding for the specific perks if they're going on two killers :)

Haha so many perks to choose from now!

Thanks this definitely helps! When it comes to upfront chases I feel more confident than with any other killer however I do lack confidence and somewhat skill in actually finding them so I’ll definitely aim for a tracking build :D

Last couple of games I’ve managed to kill all with them only getting 1 gen running BBQ, Nurses, PGTW, and NOED but I’m assuming this is most likely due to survivors being new and us both being low rank.

    Thanks.

@Spinksickles to get the most out of Clown It depends on how comfortable and confident you feel you are at finding and tracking survivors. Clown more than any other killer suffers the most when out of a chase for long periods of time. So I made it a point to really focus on learning to recognise audio cues that lead to survivors, and I’m always watching for crow activity in the distance.

So until someone learns to get better at tracking I recommend at least 1 tracking perk, but there’s also nothing wrong with going for a full tracking build. I’ve had good games running Whispers, Spies, Predator, and Bloodhound. Makes it almost impossible for survivors to hide from you.

Now that I don’t feel so reliant on tracking perks I confidently stand by my opinion that the best builds for Clown are either anti-heal builds or chase builds. Gen perks don’t really serve Clown very well except PGTW or Ruin, but even then I’ve found if new chases are started and ended quick enough this pressures the gens indirectly because of how frequently the other survivors need to engage in saves.

My go to, most reliable Clown build has usually been Distressing, Bloodhound (or Nurses), Coulrophobia, Thana, and Sulphuric Vial for Mangled (2nd add on is free choice). If I don’t have any Sulphuric Vials then I swap out either Distressing or Thana for Sloppy. The point of this build is to try an discourage as much healing as possible, or at least make it take a long time. Clown wants as many new chases by around mid game to against injured survivors so that they can be downed super quick. It’s also a great slug build. Coulrophobia makes it slightly more difficult for survivors to get teammates up off the ground, and usually results in free hits on the healer.

I’m now currently experimenting with (and having just as much success with) Nurses, Coulrophobia, Deathbound, Forced Penance.

There’s also nothing wrong with a chase build. Use any combination of Brutal Strength, Fire Up, Enduring, Spirit Fury, Bamboozle, Unrelenting, STBFL, maybe 1 perk can be PGTW or Ruin depending on your chase ability.

    Hope this helps.

@DudeDelicious maybe could help with Clown?

People must get so annoyed at build topics but I thought maybe a 2020 build might be helpful
