It is quite strange that lightburn is something that supposedly affects those in the "spirit world"
yet it does not affect the Spirit. I'm not sure how it'd be introduced and if it'd be fair because of Spirit's upcoming nerf, perhaps you could lightburn her husk by shining it in her face while phasing to pull her out of her power prematurely?
Anyway I think it's fine on Wraith, quite useless against Nurse, and it can be left in.

You AFK instead of DCing? Surely waiting for the game to end would be longer than the 5 min DC penalty?

I think the refresh button is a good idea. The characters I've gotten to P3 level 50 is reaaaaaaaally just for the flex. The slight increase to rarer item chances feels negligble, especially when hitting a new prestige and needing to level up again, it doesn't make me get the perks I want faster or anything. Just I guess more emergency med-kits and less first aid ones. So adding this refresh button as a bigger reward for those who sink the points in could make me not have those situations where I'm like "I really don't want to do an entire level 50 bloodweb to just hopefully get a iridescent button"
I also wonder, in your head can this refresh be used at any time or only on an untouched bloodweb? Like if I decided to get a couple items and add-ons, maybe a perk or two, and then instead of getting the last four chalk pouches, I just refresh it to save BP. I mean I got no issue with no longer needing to stack up instructions and shrouds of separation.... Haha!

Well I certainly appreciate your tone in your posts. I understand the points you are trying to get across with this post, but as I think many people have said in this thread, I think you are jumping the gun. I believe that we (or really, the devs) have to implement or at least PROPOSE base changes to the game before we start shifting perks around it, not the other way around. As much as we like to complain about BHVR and their speed, or lack thereof, I think everyone would admit changing how regression and gen speeds would be a MASSIVE undertaking for any studio and we can't just switch a couple numbers n go off to the races. So if we had changed the perks BEFORE we change how the game is played, especially to the extent you are suggesting, it would be quite miserable for a while for killers at a high level except for a select few such as very good Nurses, Spirits, Blights, maybe the rare couple of Hags you see now and then. As someone who plays Legion.... Errrrrrrr.. 😅

Cross Play with Steam account should not be a problem. I have linked my account since the beginning of these accounts. Also linked the Steam and a new Stadia account of a friend and he didn’t have any problems either.
the progress loss after unlinking is intentional though. I guess it’s to prevent creating duplicate accounts etc.
So have you been able to play with others on PS4, Xbox, Switch, etc?

You seem like a nice guy in your replies so I will try to keep this civil but - have you played a killer at a moderately high rank? I play both roles so I certainly feel the pain of "Holy #########, ruin is KILLING my fun in this game" and then when it's cleansed, it's either revived by undying or the killer has pop to cover the rest of the game. So I DO agree that the over reliance on gen regression and/or blocking perks may be an issue. However, I think it's that the killers are REQUIRED to bring these perks with a reasonable expectation to win. I also agree that we shouldn't simply just make gens take longer, as M1 for 80 seconds give or take with a couple of great skill checks is boring as all hell.
However. These perk nerfs are ludicrous. It would make killers at even a mid-rank miserable. We CANNOT nerf these perks BEFORE introducing a solution to gen speeds. A big part of this problem is stupidly big maps and overly safe loops. Now I don't want every loop to be like Hawkins, God no, but the fact that there is not one but TWO maps that have the house of pain (Badham and Haddonfield) is quite atrocious.
I'm all for changing up the meta and making it so that killers feel like they can run a bigger selection of perks than just ruin undying, ruin pop, jolt and pop, or whatever. But doing it by making the perks useless instead of fixing the fundamental problem with gen speeds and regression (because normal regression is a joke) is not the way about it.
(idk if i'm supposed to write edit here i just started using the forums) edit: i accidentally wrote revived by ruin instead of ruin being revived BY undying so i fixed dat.

I personally play DbD like I do with a lot of multiplayer competitive games, I pick it up for short bursts of time, a couple weeks/months, and then I usually put it down for the same amount of time or longer. I gotta say though, this recent mid chapter patch is looking GOOD. Aside from boon totems that is. ######### is busted as all #########.
I find when I play killer I play really hard. It may be because I play a relatively weak killer (Legion) so the matches are just generally harder but I am very focused on winning when I play killer n it sometimes drives me away from playing, like I won't want to have to try so hard or I won't want to get stomped so badly. It's quite frequent I open the game, pick Play as Killer, and just stare at the screen for a bit then close the game. I've tried getting into other killers and while I certainly enjoy playing as different killers I usually end up coming back to Legion. I don't know if it's their design or their power (running fast wooooooo) or their lore or a mixture of all the things combined that makes it happen but it does. I also recently P3'd my Legion so they have been quite weak perk-wise also, so that could be an element in my frustration recently.
As for survivor I sometimes just play it if I wanna play DbD but I mostly wanna relax? I don't care about winning nearly as much as survivor - I definitely TRY to win like I don't piss around all that much or run all too many perks that are "just for fun" but when I die it doesn't usually irk me, depending on how invested I was in the match or if it was due to a dumb random or whatever. Or spirit. Lol.

I personally think so. I think it would create good synergy with solo queue - something that desperately could use some help - and finding a way to do that without just saying "type in chat" or "add a voice chat" feature I think would be good as it sticks to how I BELIEVE the developers intended it to be, giving us only pointing and "c'mere." It would also work in console lobbies where there is no text chat to begin with.
Icons above the survivors or under them or whatever would work. I think if it ends up being too crowded or ugly you can limit it to just the perks and the item, or maybe even just the perks. Still, I think it'd be great to know "Hey, this guy has deliverance I don't need to worry about him" or, "This guy has prove thyself and I have bond, I should look for him doing gens" would be awesome silent synergy.

What nerfs are you referring to...?
I agree Legion needs buffs - perhaps an entire rework, but as I don't really see that happening, some pure number changes related to their cancelling on their power and generally rewarding the Legion player for going on chain stabs with something more would be very appreciated. They lack any real power in chase which feels AWFUL.
