that’s not the most recent update - the one from the anniversary stream is. And that specifically included all platforms, with more info supposedly coming later this summer
Hey listen, I'm happy to be wrong about this.
I watched the anniversary stream. Switch was not confirmed. They were weirdly vague about it. When you sign up for a behavior account, you can't link to switch. You can link to Xbox and PlayStation. Not that those are cross play. I'll believe it when I see something from behavior.

You must not have heard. The most recent news does not apply to switch. They have stated that Nintendo negotiations are ongoing. As they have been for years.

Hello, I feel for you.
Not always a viable solution with character switching last second and all, but personally, I like to keep an anti "altruism" build in my 3rd slot. Especially for when you are backfilling a lobby that someone already noped out of...
Been having a lot of fun with infectious fright and forced hesitation.
Edit for spelling

Wow, I'm surprised reinami's post isn't getting more love. That is a significant element. Especially since it may well come from the "vocal minority" that is actually experiencing a problem, and voicing their concerns. So called "ELO hell" is an established experience in a lot of games that mask their matchmaking rating. Not to say that things like confirmation bias and sore losers don't exist, but inappropriate matchmaking without an explanation can be a valid concern.
Imagine people playing tennis or chess, but hiding their ELO or surface adjusted elo. Nadal and Federer would be the greatest mysteries of all time ;)
Quick edit: worth noting, I'd be/I am happy to go against way more experienced people than me, but it'd be nice at the end of the match to know what I was going up against. Maybe a community average deaths for killer/map, or an expected deaths based on an indoor/outdoor matchup ELO. I know the individual/team ELO assessment each create some bias, but I think it's livable and provides more context for a match.
Otherwise, I spend 2/3 of my killer matches going against double digits prestige survivors, and I might have one killer at prestige 3. Then I'm just left with math to guess that they have 2+ years experience on me. But hey, getting 0-2 kills against them and getting 3-4 kills against the other 1/3 should keep me at bhvrs target kills/survival rate, right? ;)

Bots don't perform like humans. They have terrible decision making, they will run across the map to do a chest instead of finishing a 99 gen at 1 gen remaining. They're incredibly inefficient in general and a hinderance to most teams, having them fail skill checks is just a slap in the face.
Are you in a swf? Because you just described half my human soloq teammates ;)
I think this might be a Casual v. Competent issue. Bots are still in development and I doubt the expectation on the first patch is for them to function competitively in "high MMR". For players less than a year in, they are probably passable for now. Maybe in a patch or two, they could introduce/refine some skill scaling for the specific lobby.

I empathize. There are always people who will act in their interest at the consequence of others. There are always people who feel that the system has done them harm and nothing is owed to it.
Not the best solution available, but I think the current answer is the community cup. Closest thing to "ranked" matches. There regs make the game a lot more balanced and help mitigate the savage rng we find in regular play. A lot of the rifts in the player base stem from groups approaching the game from different levels of intensity. I say, let those throwing a temper tantrum play in a typical soloq match. If you take the game more seriously, start making a team, play with them and other teams, and I feel confident, you will spend more time dealing with like minded gamers.
Not trying to be too preachy. Hope this approach may ease some suffering
