As a survivor, I have had my whole team slugged more than once, only to have the killer go AFK while we bleed out.
What is interesting is that although you could only record 9 minutes, you don't show the end of the game....you clearly didn't want to pick up that survivor right? I am not defending what they did, i am simply pointing out that it goes both ways. People get mad in a game and do whatever they can to make it miserable for each other.
If I was in your situation, I might have gone and got a sandwich until they started working on gens again, as they were probably close to realizing this playing style is not fun.
Hopefully this didn't ruin your day, as it is rare that it happens.

I have enjoyed DBD twice as much since this was implemented, and I hope it doesn't go away.
I am going to admit that I use it to lobby-dodge. I dodge ranks above green, because I see that as my privilege. I feel i earned the right to play with better players and have a better outcome when I do.
since I started dodging lobbies with poorly ranked survivors, not only has the quality of my games improved, but I don't get anywhere near the DCs....which is why I started doing it.
Lets face it...when you see a rank17 person with a P3 player, its obvious that this person disconnects anytime he gets a map or killer he doesn't like, or, he DCs the minute his looping skills are outmatched.
Please, please, please Behaviour......leave this in so some of us can have the games we deserve because we NEVER DC or give up on a game.
I know some of you are going to reply with "Don't worry dude, they are going to start punishing DCers", but I am not convinced. The players buy the cosmetics and DLCs, and they can only police so much before they appear unfriendly. I don't think this is the end of it.
My solution would be to put a credit rating above the survivor for everyone to see, and then let the players punish people who DC on their own. Lets grade people based on the last 30 days, so if someone ruins their credit, they can have a clean slate in 30 days. Take a small amount out for DCs and let a lobby vote to kick them, instead of making top credit players lobby dodge, and we will have good, fast lobbies with people who want to play any game they get.
i think this is perfect so that Behaviour doesn't become the police and bad guy, and it gives people a chance to play no matter what style they choose to play, or not play. A lobby filled with poor credit teammates, and possibly killer, is a game they can still get until they improve their credit score, and you know what.....30 days of dealing with other people who DC might teach them a thing or two about what they are doing in the game.
What do you think?

I think that Van Helsing would make a much better survivor addition than any classic monster, but of all of them, I would think that a wolfman, that can morph thru the game with different attributes, would be the spookiest thing on earth....howling and all.
It was suggested by an online streamer, that zombies could work in a cool way that once you are killed off, you can reanimate as a zombie to watch the game in a first person perspective. I like the thought of that to break up the boredom. Maybe even give you the chance to wonder around and find your item you lost at death????

I like this idea KrazyKat. This would stop camping. We could also give Borrowed Time a buff if the killer is camping by maybe covering the person making the unhook if the killer has been within the radius of the hooked survivor for a certain time.
BBQ & Chilli is the incentive for killers not to camp, but it doesn't help a survivor who is truly a rank 18 with no teachables.

I think that when a new survivor gets to the rank where he/she starts to see killers with teachable perks running BBQ & Chilli and Whispers for example, it becomes very discouraging. There doesn't seem to be enough time to build skills in looping and escaping before being thrust into this new pressure.
I would love to see the match making take into account the amount of teachables a killer has, as this would preserve a better experience. With players taking time off and deranking over a couple of months, the system would now know how they should be ranked by taking into account the power they can bring in to verse a survivor.
I think killers would benefit from this as well, as it works both ways. Rank 20 survivor with all teachables and prestige 3 is not equal to a new killer bringing Hillbilly with 1 perk slot.
