I think it would be neat to give these stats base(base to people that use the totem), if the totem is destroyed. I haven't personally gotten to use it on PTB, but I can see the stats and effects in question being limited.
I've even thought that once destroyed, "ruin"ing one person game in some manner would be neat. A lottery of who it happens to and a number of negative effects it could be. It may even go to an already dead survivor. You never know.
I'm a survivor main and just think it would be an interesting counterplay. You break it you buy it. It could even turn into noed, if left untouched. Assuming you're running noed. Forcing people to look for it or risk it.
-
Just play Freddy and put everyone to sleep.
-
None of this is important. People are going to play how they want. Don't be a dick. Before, during, after the game.
-
I typically play as I normally would.
-
Unsafe pallets aren't really meant to be mind gamed. And if you do, expect a 50/50 out of it. Like mentioned. Drop early and run.
-
Yea, I don't think you can do much. You could however allow killers the option to turn the feature off or limit it to duos. At least above a certain rank. Maybe rank 10 and up you can mute anything above a duo?
I'm sure plenty of killers wouldn't care but it would give some the chance to not get destroyed by simply hitting ready. I know I have fun as killer until I run into a few good SWFs. But I'm a survivor main and usually only hit killer up for a change.
I actually play solo and have done SWF a little bit but find it super annoying comms-wise. Getting a play by play is just bothersome. But I'm sure there are plenty of people that are opposite and only play with friends.
-
People get sick playing killer? What?
-
Iron will is really the only thing you need. Definitely helps with the whole getting hit and basically being f'd. But I like it in general.
-
Wait? You find the hatch that often? You must be waiting for it because my hatches get closed nearly instantly. As it seems to spawn next to the last person running the killer.
-
The game isn't that hard to learn, just a lot of things to learn.

I hope they go for some fun perks. Like Head On would have been if it ever worked.
Head on does work.

Waiting for rank 20, prestiged, full builds to show up and crash the party.
-
Speculating is fun.
Maybe Stranger things wanted two of their characters in other than the demogorgon it's actually dead. Spoiler...Eleven killed it. Plus the "kids" are the main part of the shows. Demogorgon is probably going to be fun but doesn't really do anything other season one.
We probably won't work on gens either but portals/pits? Will be interesting to see how they make it work and to see if the perks are cool.
-
Oh you guys. /me shaking my head
-
The guy I played ran no mither and unbreakable I think. So he was having his fun. Until he died.
But I'm not wanting a Sabo buff. I want a new perk for good ole Jake.

I sharted. I have no iri shards anymore. ๐ญ

Pass.
It's already annoying to have 2-4 toolkits in a match these days. I always see people 99% every hook and then break it when I'm about to hook someone.
If people could just sabo at will, without either a perk slot or toolkit, there'd be 0 point to playing Killer.
Add to that that pallets are a one-time use. They already remove Bloodlust (lord knows why. Bloodlust is USELESS unless every pallet is broken. IE: 10 seconds before everyone leaves/dies) so being able to reset them would be a HARD Killer nerf.
No, broken pallets aren't allowed. Only if they're down. You don't reassemble them, just pick them up.
Not sure if it would break the game but if survivors had anything interesting to do outside of gens, like lifting pallets, it would slow the game but also possibly extend chases. Not that they'd do it
Id use it. And then I could be pallet Jake. Not sabo Jake.
-
Could even do this for x killer, giving a perk to the generic pool and giving them a new one.
Also curious what people think there on the killer side.
-
Definitely depends but I would say a lot of those aren't useless. Just utility for builds. I mean deja Vu tells you where to go not to three gen yourself. I use it sometimes for information. Alert too.
If you can spare slots try stuff out.
-
The whole game is an exploit.
Not really.
I lied.
It really is.
Tear down the loops. Survivors are slower but outrunning my killer friends. They have pallets but won't use them. I hit them and they run away to another loop.
They steal my time, they're time stalkers.

what? isn't that they hate spirit much more than Billy? compare to the spirit, l prefer someone chase me with chainsaw!
I think that's why he gets the 3 spot for a lot of people.
I actually hate playing bubba over Billy.

Sure lol. Just like the 3rd blink was an unintended feature. And traps under hooks were a bugfix too. They sure fixed a lot of "bugs" on killers back then.
It was an intended nerf, which was sold as bugfix. Even the devs were looking awkward and sweaty saying this on stream.
Billy was perfect at release, they could just revert him tbh. Slap a nerf somewhere, but flick was the removed solution to the skillless mobility gameplay. Learn to flick or you had a less mobile chainsaw compared to today. He was about killing back then, but im drifting off
I wouldn't even consider that a nerf. You don't need it. Just like you don't need all of those blinks to do damage with nurse.
-
I'm probably 70/30 S/K. I don't play all that serious but I don't want to get destroyed either.
I probably try out more perk combos as survivor and do a theme for my matches as killer. Like tell stories with Piggy when I play her or whatever. Or do turning radius Billy for fun and fly all over the map trying to snipe people. Fun times.

He doesn't need any add ons for it to be an insta, but there are add-ons that will make him have to hit u twice instead of once with the chainsaw because it'll increase speed that it is charged and give u more bloodpoints at the end of the trail
When people talk about insta saw they mean the rev time. Not insta down.

I know unfortunately Billy was the first killer I ever was and I'm good with him, he already got nerfed once and the winey survs got their way, but getting nerfed again would kill him
Are you talking about his flick at the end of a saw? That wasn't an intended feature.
-
Give me NASCAR Billy Add-ons. I mean where he can only turn left, goes 200+ mph and when he bumps into things he explodes into a ball of fire (IE - Talladega Nights/Ricky Bobby).
Thanks.
-
Yea, I enjoy playing against Billy. It doesn't take long to figure out if you can or can't juke him. Insta saws aren't needed and I have more fun with turn Billy. Trying to get people from across the map is probably the most fun I have as killers, in general.
Also anyone asking for a nerf, he used to be able to flick left or right at the end of a saw and drill people.
-
I'll actually run distortion as a utility. Good info to have for a match. Leave me on the gen and I'll let you know you're wrong about me being close to your hook.
Plus I bet you "efficiently" proxy camp the hook based all the "why I'm still here" rules you placed
-
My recent favorite thing to do is to play Piggy and when I down or hook a survivor growl at them like I'm having a conversation with them. I call it Story Time with Ms Piggy.
I find it amusing.
-
I'm still hoping for a chameleon type killer that could pose as survivors.

All 4 of those are from perks. A SWF team can just not equip those perks and still get their practical benefits while also having room for more non-ally tracking perks.
Well as I said, I don't really care about SWFs. If anything, I would give the killer the option to disallow them from queueing. At least 3+ survivor. Maybe all. And that's only assuming it wouldn't damage killer queues too much. I'd wait slightly longer if I knew I wasn't about to get reamed by a full squad. Of course there is also the possibility that two duos join, only allow one.
But as for them giving me all the information I need to be as safe as possible, without a perk needed and I get my perk build just seems like added crap for killers to deal with.
Someone also mentioned somewhere about limiting perk builds for SWFs. Limit one per or whatever.
But it's whatever.

Come on guys. Nea has seen a lot, tough life on the streets. So she's a little crazy, you don't call the cops on that one homeless person that craps in your driveway, do you?
Oh, well I guess we can't all be N00B5.

He is a positive guy, so he is a cool guy. What is wrong with that? It's not like he can do much in the Entity's realm anyway.
I don't know, man.
Maybe. Just maybe he has the winning hand. An Ace in the Hole, if you will.

? Aces are usually chill, and we don't make fun of Dwights, we adore them. And Jake's are usually great players in high ranks.
He smiles even when hurt or hooked. His smugness scares me actually. What's he got up his sleeve? Is he even wearing sleeves? Hmmmm...I don't trust him.
-
This is the type of stuff that makes people hate Jake. He can't even sabo properly anymore. Or the reason Dwight can't go near a locker without being made fun of.
Or why Baby Tums can't stand still for two seconds without being called an insidious camper.
#AllSurvivorsMatter2019
Except Ace, that smug bastard.
-
They already have indicators....bond, empathy and obsession. And they're not just instant.
As much as I'd love all the information, just knowing the obsession is being chased gives me the free and clear to do whatever I want. If a survivor is hit, I can see them scrambling for their lives with Empathy or if they're healing now. And if I'm close enough with Bond, I can see someone doing a gen or hiding in the corner immersed.
The lack of information, the reason SWF is meh to me is the comms. I'm not going to go against it because people like playing games with friends.
I play solo and enjoy it. Sure SWF would be fun but not really interested in it.
Maybe they can make more perks that give more information like someone just hopped on a gen here or hooks 99'd but at least then it's costing you something to gain that info. Not just a rewrite to how the game gives everyone info.
-
One helpful tip, if you're doing a ruin gen with someone and they fail a hex skill check you do this...
It is proper etiquette to stop what you're doing and stare at them. Then shake your head no. And if you fail a skill check, do two 360s and run away in shame.
-
The only thing that sucks about being tunneled is maxing out boldness. If you ran him majority of the game, good for you. The other people had to suffer and do gens the whole time.
Which would you prefer to do?
-
Head on, borrowed time, deliverance, QQ has been a go to for a bit now. Though I do drop borrowed here or deliverance for other utility stuffs.
I did run DS recently instead of borrowed. Never tried since Laurie came out but it was pretty fun with all of the other stuff going. But I wouldn't say I use it.
-
Head on is pretty good right now.
Definitely a nice addition to the current exhaustion perks. Adding QQ to it not only helps during chases but also gives you a chance to use it in some situations where you wouldn't otherwise.
A nice change up, though I do miss my BL sometimes when things go vertical. Will I use it forever? Nah it's only in a certain build. To be fair, I've been running more QQ/Dance with me because no exhaustion, just timers.
-
I definitely enjoy my plunderers, ace in the hole, pharmacy and some random perk such as distortion or qq.
Reason I go pharm is because I usually prefer med kits if I take an item, so I burn them pretty fast. Plus, helpful when you've pinched your available perk slots for loots. Then if I find other stuffs, I trade out if need be.
Ah and pharm let's you search faster.
