Yeah you get a few boldness points if you are far away and some benevolent points at the begining. Maybe it's enough to pip at low ranks, but not at high ranks.

If you already got your benevolent and boldness emblems, i agree that you don't need to play his facecamping game and you can simply do gens and escape. When you get to red ranks, it's hard to ignore 2 emblems and still pip. At least, it is for me.
