I haven't personally seen this in any of my games, but I have seen it in streams. Typically the addons being used aren't even supposed to be used together so anyone using them clearly knows what they're doing.
Sorry you had to experience this but who knows when it will actually be fixed. 😕

And some people in my life wonder why I've been a Blizzard customer for 25-years, despite their warts. Outside of the rare outlier like Diablo 3, they support their games for years on end.

BHVR, your Fog Whisperers that act like this are basically willfully, and have even for all intense and purposes,admitted, to gaming your system to avoid punishment. Stop relying on a program to parent your players and the people who are supposed to represent the "best of the community" and take some actual human control and responsibility.

If someone disconnects above a certain percentage of their matches over a period of time, they will automatically be flagged and banned. There is no filter for who gets these bans, the system treats everyone equally. Some of the streamers you see play the game for six or more hours per day and play a large number of matches. In comparison, the percentage of their matches that they disconnected from ends up being relatively low.
The system is not perfect at the moment and we hope to improve it sometime after dedicated servers launch. In the meantime, we are doing the best that we can with what we have available.
I do respect you responding to the thread even though it's a basic PR cookie cutter response and do appreciate that you can see there are definitely flaws in your system.
This thread is definitely about more than just disconnects though, at least for me anyways.
Edit - Regarding the "Threshold", that needs to be one of the first things changed. Regardless of how many hours someone has played they ruined games for people and in turn caused a mass ripple effect that has ruined thousands of games for others.

A lot of the streamers left playing have thousands of hours in the game.. They’re within the threshold based on their playtime.
1-3k hours depending on the person you're asking about. Not sure what that matters though, it's not acceptable regardless if you made a life commitment to this game or if you're someone with only a couple of hundred hours.
If I recall correctly too you're an old school DBD streamer who actually does the exact thing I'm talking about in this post, so I don't really expect you to understand where I'm coming from. Nothing personal though.
