LOL. Urban Evasion is hella powerful especially in a team. I don't use to Urban around the whole map.
There are a number of uses for it . . .
- Urbaning to downed survivor so as not to leave a trail if the killer is slugging (obv)
- Lithing and/or otherwise gaining distance and then using Urban to lose the chase.
- Urbaning through Tunnelhead's poop (Pyramidhead for those who don't know his true name).
- Urbaning to be within BBQ range or near the hook.
- With killers that have a normal terror radius, you can urban away before they even get to the gen (or whatever objective) you are on. Then they waste 2 minutes looking for you, which is just as good as a chase and no one gets hit. It's also fun to watch!
Endless reasons dude. Try it and you'll see.
you do know that walking doesn‘t leave a trail right?
In Most of the examples you mentioned, you can just walk instead of crouching and use the perkslot for something else.

I hope you realise I'm not talking about the survivor experience only. Playing Spirit is just as boring as playing against her because there is absolutely no challenge or anything to learn with her. If you're happy with the way Spirit is you're happy with not really caring about what a survivor does, or being challenged in the one aspect of the game that's actually fun which is the interactions between killer and survivor. Hag and Deathslinger are the same. These three are so unbalanced in the 1v1 that it's so damn boring playing as them because you know you're going to win every chase no matter what the survivor does.

See I can do it too.

gotta love those whataboutisms amiright? I'll humour you anyway. Depends what you mean by that. Things like the Midwich god pallet, asylum windows should absolutely not be a thing because yes they're boring to play as survivor and killer, because you're both running in a circle and there's no thought there. The autohaven short loops are fine imo because they are just that: short. And have some mindgame potential if the survivor wants to play them. Both sides have a chance to outplay each other when the pallet gets dropped which takes maybe 7 or 8 seconds tops. And many killers don't care about these loops anyway, almost every killer has something that could help them at these loops with the exceptions being probably Myers, GhostFace, Plague and Legion.
Thats my point though. If „some mindgame potential“ as you say (which is a stretch by the way since a good survivor is not gonna get hit at those) is good enough then so is Spirits phase, because the survivor also has „some mindgame potential“ against her when she phases.
Autohaven which is a survivor favourite precisely because of those short loops is the perfect example of why spirit is so popular. If a normal Killer plays on that map all he can is run in a circle as the survivor mirrors his movement since he is visible the entire time, until the pallet is dropped break it move to the next unmindgamemable pallet.
alot of killers view that as silly, because they don‘t have any options at loops like those and the survivor isn‘t displaying any skill either. Its very similar to god loops in that sense, but on a much smaller scale. Spirit gives a killers a chance to enjoy playing even at loops like that.

If there's no way to rework spirit without defeating the purpose of her, then rework her with the sole intention of defeating her initial purpose. I want spirit to be completely reworked, her design is horrifically boring and unbalanced, you're essentially playing a single player game. There's no challenge, it's just hold M2 and win every chase unless they have iron will, which in that case you also have to guess until you're near them and you hear their footsteps and grass moving. No interaction with the survivor whatsoever because you don't give a ######### about what they're doing. Where's the fun in that?
Since you‘re against single player games you propably also against unmindgamemable loops, since there is nothing a Killer can do other than running in a cirlce am I right? if unmindgamemable loops are necessary, then so is Spirits abilitiy to phase.

Stridor is extremely powerful on spirit, it completely negates IW, her only real counter.
Are you guys so naive that you think Perks have a static power level??? Certain perks are awful on most killers and then really powerful on others. Stridor, STBFL, PWYF, M&A...
if you’re so hellbent on countering a Spirits Stridor you can stack Iron Will and No Mither or other Sound reduction perks.
Stridor and Iron Will are in a good Place were they are and so is the Spirit.
One way of improving against the Spirit that alot of people neglect is to play as Spirit.
