  • Actually glad people who can't deal with a new fun mechanic decide to straight up quit.

I don't want you people in our community because you're the type of people who will DC during a game because it's not going your way.

The whole fun point of DBD is to come up with ways of countering the killer and outsmarting them. And let me tell you as a Red rank doctor main, IT IS NOT EASY TO 4K.

So if you think doctor is broken let me correct you very quickly.

Survivors are broken not any killer.

  • +1 this Idea,

I think it would be nice to unlock customizeable moris through the shop and through the archives.

I think the first killer ones that really do suck should be put in the archives for an upgraded mori version.

  • I'm not being funny.

But if you're in a situation where the killer has bested you and you have not been able to complete all gens and he has found the hatch then quite frankly you deserve to be smacked in the head with noed.

Why should killers be given another disadvantage so that the last survivor can get an easy escape?

  • I mean the madness still continues, I've had way more games with DCS and had a negative pip because of it.

Do the Dev's actually read through these posts because so far not a single person has disagreed with me

This meme is needed at another post. It's called 'Make BBQ a Hex'.

Welcome to the forums. I'm assuming you're new? Or returning at least...

Oh I'm new to the forums. And already its just people who have just started the game and are moaning about mechanics without practicing to counter them.

Makes a game boring if its to easy no?

  • Been on this forum for a day and lets just say Surv mains moan alot.

I main both Surv + Killer and i'm red ranks in both.

    So i'm fairly experienced

Currently playing Surv is extremely boring and easy. This game clearly favours surv at the moment.

I mean the recent update blog just proves it, how the DEVS just nerfed ruin because you baby surv's can't do skill checks.

Not being funny if you can't find a locker near a GEN when there's normally tons and actually hide in it when you can see the killer pick up the downed SURV WITH NO PERKS. (unless they run knockout) then seriously go watch a tutorial on how to play or something.

Can we stop nerfing killers and actually make them stand a chance against all of the broken surv perks.

Unless you mean "Single White Female" I have no idea what SWF is 😆...But I feel like trolling in itself is unavoidable and theres no way to stop it completely...However it still would give players more strategic options while on the hook to stay hooked if they feel it isnt a good idea to be rescued at that exact moment...Imagine if someone was healing you and you DIDNT have the option to run away until they were finished. In a way, thats similar to the unwanted rescue scenario because its something that doesn't take anything away from the game with its inclusion but would increasingly become annoying if you simply couldn't

SWF means survive with friends. And I come across a lot of 2 or 3 man SWFs. So lets say I go for the save and they hit the "I don't want to be saved button", the killers going to kill me and the other members of that SWF get the save.

I think the game already has way to many options where survivors can be toxic, this brings no benefits.

Run DS, or find yourself a SWF you can trust.

I mean theres a place on the forums to recruit.

Yet again another high tier person telling common people to get good.

Most of the time I get caught is because other survivors freak out and don't know the game.

Survivors that run towards people doing gens, survivors that run towards people healing, Survivors that don't know hiding in a locker or hiding behind a gen would help them cause they are common players instead of try hard super competitive players.

I could completely see this perk being okay in ranked for high level survivors and killers but for most of people that player like I said before 20 to rank 7 play the game for fun and not competitive reasons but this game puts player level and ranking in the same game.

Other games seprate ranked games with common normal games, which is another flaw with this game.

This game could have ALOT more people playing if they took the time to understand why people stop playing (which those people aren't going to make a forum account to complain or discuss these problems.)

So why should high tier players be punished because lower tier don't know the mechanics of the game?

I'm sorry but every game you learn from with experience and practice.

When you actually get "High tier" And everything is nerfed and based around how a "Low tier" player would play the game would be EXTREMELY boring.

And honestly right now survivor is so damn easy at red ranks it's actually boring and i've moved on to playing more killer games (Which are god damn difficult)

Also you blame your team mates who don't know the mechanic for revealing your location to the killer... how is this even possible? If their out in the open panicking and your in a locker why are you being found?

Run Kindred so you know which direction the killers running once they've hooked someone.

Actually sick and tired of low rank players moaning about easy mechanics that ruin the game for high rank players. (COUGH RUIN)

  • I get what you're saying.

I have experienced it many times when I'm unhooked right in front of the killer and I just get tunnelled.

The only counter for tunnelling currently is DS (Not working with DOC atm yay)

I see a few problems with this.

    SWFS!

SWF's will deliberately not allow anyone but the people within their swf to save them

And it will just lead to trolling.

  • Sorry I haven't read all of the previous essays but i'm sure you all have points of your own.

This title is quite frankly a joke. From my experience Hex totems are cleansed fairly early game and the spawn locations are a joke, plus survs can use detectives hunch and maps to find them easily.

Now lets actually talk about BBQ and chilli.

    1) Can locate surv's from a long distance. (Down side is they have to be far away and not in a locker)

    2) It takes time for a killer to actually get to that distance they previously saw the surv with BBQ and chilli so they easily could of moved location.

I actually do not see how this is a broken perk in anyway shape or form.

If you're constantly being found then it has nothing to do with BBQ, you're just not a stealthy surv.

And something tells me good Oni players were good Hillbilly killers in the first place, since their powers are similar-ish enough. Probably why I do terrible at Oni, I'm not a fan of Hillbilly so I never learned to play him.

thing is i'm a terrible hillbilly as I don't play him, yet I do well with Oni because his run is easier to control. But against good survs they easily dodge his running M1. And I mean if you're in a position where he can hit you with a normal M1 then quite frankly he deserves the down.

  • His tracking ability? What happens late game when theres blood everywhere? his tracking is pointless.

his lunge is easy to dodge hint why they changed it. I mean why should a killer struggle hitting you when they have gotten close to you? Why is 360ing an oni even a mechanic.

Why don't you actually play oni and see how hard it is to 4k against a good team instead of just complaining as surv.

  • Does the report function even do anything?

I mean i'm 99% sure it's not even being monitored.

I was in a match against a Micheal and I had my teammates dc because he was slugging us. I feel like people who dc should be severely punished for this and make it easier on the survivors who didn't dc. Or if there is one person left after the others dced, have the hatch spawn in front of the last person for they can escape with no hassle.

I don't think it would be necessary for the hatch to spawn right by the last remaining survivor if the others dc (Bare in mind the killer is also affected by this).

The players should be punished more who do this deliberately and those who are left behind should not lose any rank progression.

Thank you both for agreeing with my point so far though :)

  • Oni is fine the way he currently is. If anything he needs a buff.

    1) The Oni needs to hit 2 healthy survivors and absorb blood to use his power.

1a) Longer in the game there will be more blood piles for easier recovery but this is just his play style.

    2) It doesn't even last long.

    3) He was so easy to 360 and out play before. I think him having a better turn angle actually makes his power more threatening and fun to go against?

If you can't outrun an oni then go hide in a locker until his power runs out... there are LOUD noise notifications to let you know anyway ¬_¬

  • If you have a serious problem with his stealth then wraith needs a rework to! Heck lets just get rid of stealthy killers because the games way too difficult!

Lets not talk about the fact ghost face moves at normal killer speed, can easily be revealed, loses his stealth on swing, cannot stalk through CORN.

Run spine chill if you can't move your mouse 360 degrees to keep watch of your surroundings.
