  • Yep all these extra chances when they fail to complete their objectives built into the game mechanics , yet a killer spends a perk slot to take NOED and the survivors whine that it “rewards for failure”.

  • Killer is too easy but the only screenshot I had was of all four survivors escaping, this has to be a troll.

  • I don’t think you should be getting an easier escape for failing to get the gens done and camping the hatch while your teammate died.

The game, rightly so, gets harder for survivors as people die, less people to do gens and less people for the killer to try find. Where as at the beginning it’s tougher for the killer with 4 people to find, chase and patrol gens (and also protect totem possibly) there is no easy help at the beginning when the match is at the most difficult for the killer, so why should there be an easy option for the survivor at the end when the killer has earned the upper hand? It’s already not guaranteed that the killer knows exactly where the hatch is and if he does well that’s a good spot by him/her while also juggling the rest of their objectives throughout the match.

Imagine people still thinking killer is hard. Let me show the way.

i thought this might hold some helpful tips but was just salt =(

  • Demogorgon

Faster base movement or a toggle to switch to all fours with increased speed (but no basic attack)

Less downtime after missing a shred (the game is focused on running around things, a straight line pounce is hard enough to hit with)

Free rotation of camera while in the upside down.

Clown- probably currently the worst killer right now. His only useful perk being pop so not even a starters choice. His own skill denies him hits.

Cannibal- a lame billy who is decent but is only highlight is camping...

Trapper- The OG so he is a little aged. Not to mention that pig can bring 5 traps but trapper can only carry 1 at a time

Nurse- high skill cap and most of those killers left. On console she is horrid

Oni- sucks on console. High skill cap on pc to be effective

    Plag- gimmicky

I see your clown and raise you demogorgon who is that weak he’s not even been mentioned in this whole thread xD

As for the topic, it’s simply because with killer perks being unreliable (being removable with the hex system or no use like unrelenting) whether or not you have good basic abilities on your killer either through synergy with perks or just being plain strong, becomes a hinge pin for success. The killers aren’t that strong that the player can really afford to take a handicap of playing a weaker one, so until the others are brought up to standard I’m afraid you’ll see mostly the same ones.

Personally however I mained clown through to prestige but once I got to rank 12 and started running into full red rank survivors I had to move on and depip. So now I’m playing demogorgon who I’m having great difficulty with due to his ability not being really suited to the looping obstacles core chase mechanics of DbD. Not to mention the reverse jointed predatory beast runs loud as heck and at the same speed as my fatass in a clown suit xD but I like playing something different for the novelty...me playing at a disadvantage doesn’t stop the survivors teabagging though.

    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • Ah ok, thanks guys. I guess it’s not a perk for me as I started by prestigeing clown and am now playing demogorgon who can’t get there even with a portal nearby doh. I’ll try something else.
