No, the point of this thread is to point out that I hope Behaviour starts partnering with smaller streamers. The pilot linked above is a great start, but still doesn't have representation at the smaller streamer level. I believe they're doing the right thing by opening the door for streamer connections, but there's still a gap. I would absolutely love to be a bigger part of the solution when it comes to fostering less toxicity in the community than what I'm doing now.

I'd also personally recommend SpaceCoconut. Fantastic non-toxic player, incredibly knowledgeable on Hag -- he's how I learned to play.

only1biggs -- apologies if I came off as calling anyone on the list already toxic. In my original post, I didn't know about this program and was referencing some of the largest streamers on Twitch, not the list. I believe everyone already selected IS positive! I knew most of them already, and checked out the rest. I wasn't implying that different people should be chosen, I'm happy for them. ^.^ My only remaining point is that there should be more representation from smaller streamers in the pilot. They've hit the enormously large communities, and the medium range (around 40k followers). There's only one person in the pilot with less than 4000 followers. At every level of Twitch community, the interactions are different. At my level, I work to build a bond with every user in the channel (and I have that luxury because I have less than 400 followers).
I hope this clears things up -- I won't mention the streamers I had in mind in the original post before I saw the list of streamers and knew about the pilot, but it wasn't anyone on the list already. I think the people that got selected are fostering the kind of attitude we need to showcase to transform the toxicity. I just wish a few more streamers with smaller communities (like mine) could have been part of the pilot because our interactions are different than people with 40k and 400k followers. I started streaming last May, and my community IS growing crazy fast (for me, at least). I'd rather build it while working closely with Behaviour from the start of this pilot, though.

So happy you're joining us! We've got people of all ages in our community (I'm 40 myself), so you will fit right in!MandyTalk, thanks for that link! I just wish there would have been more thought put into reaching out to a few more smaller streamers. Most people that are on that list on Twitch have 40k+ followers (there's one exception). Those folks already have a follower-base. There are people like me that stream this game for hours and hours, that are being the change everyone wants to see in the game, but are completely shut out of this process. I wish there would have been an application process for this alpha phase, because I've got a software testing background for my day job and would have loved to have been part part of this pilot. I see that you'll have dedicated spots for smaller streamers, great news! It would have been nice to have a few smaller streamers as part of the alpha pilot too, though.
Anyway, just needed to get that off my chest. This is definitely a step in the right direction, just frustrating for someone like me that wants to be involved that's already spending hours and hours streaming this game and building a community around it to be shut out.

That won't really work -- we'll have anywhere from 10-15 people, 5 matches each round.. that would be impossible.

What's causing the bug though? Is there any way to explain it? It makes it impossible to score a tournament if everyone's point values are different

Thanks Tsulan, really appreciate this feedback! I think for someone as new as me, I don't even really know what the current meta is. I'm reading, watching videos as fast as I can, but I'm still very much a newbie. I don't understand the review bombing either -- as a new player with no history of the game, I'm having so much fun as a survivor. I've got no baggage coming in, and I've got nothing but great things to say about it.

That's really awesome, Russ! I'm always looking for people to play with as well -- when you join, if you drop into the HeroDan discord and send me your Steam name, I'll elevate your Discord access to be able to join the DBD rooms and add you on Steam. ^.^ This is the kind of interaction that I continue to have -- a welcoming, helpful community of players. That's some great feedback! Given the huge changes in 2.1.0, that's a good idea to let the community settle into the new patch.
