I wonder if there will be any substantial changes made to the Hawkins Lab map in the near future. As glad as I am to have it back, I do remember people celebrating when it was removed.

Be honest, you wrote this post when you were hungry, didn't you?
I had a can of soda for breakfast, saw the update , and refuesed to eat anything until I was done typing.

what
You know how people say that when you are fighting a Nurse you are playing the 'Nurse Game', not regualr DBD?
I want more of that. But, you know, more balanced.

I got her when Alien released, and I've been having more fun with her than I thought. It was a bit frustrating at first since I actively tried to avoid three genning, but I got used to a playstyle of placing drones on generators that are getting done and then screwing off to chase a distant survivor. The survivor on the generator will take care of the drone, giving you some haste to help catch the other survivor. When you do catch that survivor and hook them, you can then use the phone to find that survivor and chase them, the claw trap helping to take care of a downed pallet every once in a while.
It's not the strongest chase power, basically just a timed MFT for killer, but the additions of the undetectable status effect, potential instantdowns and decent map knowledge add some interesting options for what to do in different situations. When they reduce her three genning potential, I hope they don’t impact that chase part of her power too much.

Some of the older chapters even came with completely new outfits for survivors, like Spark of Madness, Flesh and Mud, Nightmare on Elm Street. Those DLCs are still just 6.99. They are rated common rarity, that doesn't really change much because BHVR artificially gives that outfits rarity, they could all be common if they wanted them to be. I wonder if BHVR will go back and increase the prices for those chapters and justify it with the fact that they come with additional, exclusive outfits. If it wasn't for the backlash, I'm sure they would.

It's a shame. The crowns were added as a reward for those anniversary events, and they weren't as easy to collect as the current event's masks are. For survivor, you had to actually escape the trail to earn the crown for just that survivor. It took a lot of time to go through and collect them all, which I personally didn't even do, and now for all that effort to just get flushed away by giving it to everyone for just entering a code...It feels like my efforts were completely invalidated.
Those events didn't even have any major gameplay alterations. Bar the mass use of bloodpoint offerings, the crowns were the event. The challange of escapeing, of earning that little peice of gold behind your head, that was the point! To have that bragging right, to say "I did it!", with your fancy cosmetics.
I have some 4th years crowns, and I like them because they show age. I have some outfits from the first and second rifts, and I like them because they show age. If those get given away, they won't be special anymore. Just like the some of the summer BBQ event cosmetics. If you saw one before, you know that they were around for the event and that they earned it. Now? It doesn't mean anything. They are just a propain tank and a off-white tank-top. Nothing more.
Nea has a jellyfish shirt. It was in an early rift. I didn't get it, (I think it was in the paid track) and I've seen some people have it from time to time. I do feel a little jealous, but I also understand that they earned it. They have it. I don't. If they wan't to go run around and flaunt their pretty cyan jellyfish, I can't stop them. And you know what? Good for them. That is their shirt. Their special little shirt. If they are proud of it, let them show their pride.
People like to brag. They always do. It's why people prestiege to 100, why some people play Johnathan Byers or the Demogorgon, why people horde old event offerings and items. The more that is taken away, the less personal your game will feel. Eventually, you might not having anything at all. You will having nothing to show for your time, your effort, your fun. Just a 'limited cosmetic' that everyone has.

You didn't understand me.
There are two pools of BPs.
One for BPs gained in game, from rituals, archives. These are capped at 1000000. This is pool #1.
Then there is another pool of BPs for the ones gained from EVENTS (BHVR giving away free bp when you login in), refunded for some reason (lost game progress) and the ones redeemed through store by using codes. This is pool #2.
#1 is capped at 1,000,000
#2 has no limit.
The count you see in the menu is the sum of #1 and #2. Even if you have 45,000,000 in #2 you can keep gaining BPs in #1, until it hits 1,000,000. Then you would see 46,000,000 as the bp amount.
However, AFAIK, if you start spending BPs, it will first start taking them from #2. So, if you want to continue gaining more BPs from gameplay, you need to deplete the second pool before you can deplete first one, which then will allow you to get more. That's how it worked few months ago, unless they changed that it takes from first pool first Now.
What you see on your picture is having some BP in #1 and in #2, hence why you are over the limit.
I didn't know that. Thank you for explaining it so well! I continue to learn more about this game every day.

BPs gained from gameplay, rituals, archive are seperate from events, redeem codes, etc. First ones are capped at 1kk, the others do not have any cap.
They are displayed as a sum however.
However, the first pool to be consumed when spending is the event one...
Total cap, like overall. I think you are talking about the Event Scores or something, while I meant this. They both cap, or at least are supposed too. Normal match, nothing special.

A rhythm game killer. Like, I don't know, the killer could release waves into the ground that the survivor has to time with a rhythm in order to not get slowed or something. Call it The DJ and have the music team go to town.
Or maybe a killer than can teleport survivors to a special area outside the map where they would have to solve puzzles or something. If they solve the puzzle, they can come back unharmed. If they fail, they take damage. Then they would just plop back into the main trial grounds.
Honestly, I just want another killer with a truly unique power. Like, nurse levels of unique. Something completely different, like 150% base movement speed or something crazy like that. It would be difficult to balance them, but if gotten right, it would create something completely new for players to sink their teeth into.

I second this. I´m not in favor of the idea of guns in DBD per se, but kudos to you OP. Nicely thought through!
Thanks! Both of you. I spent some time on this, and while it is not a perfect idea by any means, the only way to make new things is to put them out there. Plus, making new things for the games I love is always a fun thing to do.

These ideas are actually amazing and take advantage of the full scope of legion with multiple killers you swap to, I love this idea!
Of course it won't be added, but now I feel like this is the only and BEST idea for a legion rework I've ever seen. I'd go as far to say someone should tag this, or you should keep a copy of this idea on a clipboard and post it on here again every few months until it gets traction. The idea is just that good and you even made sensible add ons.
My only question/concern is with the charges mechanic, does that mean that the survivor can't actually heal themselves unless they fully mend? Not to big a deal since only their movement causes it to drain, but just a question.
Thank you so much! I worked hard to get this idea out and I'm glad that people like it.
In regards to mending, it would act as a separate interaction from healing. If you have a med-kit or friend, you can get healed like normal regardless of the amount of charges Deep Wounds would have. Forcing a player to have a high amount of charges to heal might be a bit frustrating.
