Killer main here: You can do whatever you want but know that for us DS Unbreakable is incredibly frustrating and unfair as it creates even more lose lose situations for the killer. You can do what you like but killers won't appreciate it.
I wish I could see it your way but cannot. DS is just an anti-tunnel tool, countered by simply not tunneling/punish the unhooker. Unbreakable is just an anti slugging tool. Don't like, hook em. Until there is something like Myers tombstone or huntress iridescent heads, I cannot see how those survivor perks are OP.

It's weird to me how so many people play with anger. I am a survivor main and I personally enjoy every trick in the book a killer can use to win the game. (I struggle a bit with Myers addon to just kill you on first down) but even then it's just another dynamic that makes me rethink how to improve. As survivors, the game should be slightly biased towards killers in as much as to prevent someone walking around with a flashlight like they are invincible. The game should be balanced to think twice before taking an action. I firmly believe that best against best (minus swf on discord) the killer can control the game. If they seem to wipe up early a bit, they have the option to run around more and spread the love, but if one decides to go on a rampage like huntress with iridescent heads, well, so be it. Just dodge the axes and don't get seen ;). Just enjoy and never stop learning.

This is by far one of the best posts. I have roughly 1800+ hours and still enjoy it. All the one liners you mentioned are spot on. Every loss I always analyze what could have been done better and apply going forward, including an insidious leatherface in the basement with one hook. I look forward to each game as a unique challenge and if I miss the mark, move on. Thank you for this post, it's spot on IMHO.

Yeah, I recommend everyone stops playing until the current wave of hackers is banned.I was tricked by the title because there's currently a hacker wave going around with people equipping killer stuff on survivor and vice-versa, as well as stacking perks. This is why writing proper titles is important.
I was wondering about this. I have about 1600 hours logged. I may not be the smartest. But I was starting to notice some rank 1 killers being "abnormally". Thing like with running Iron Will. They still knew exactly where I was. Checking perks after games showed no spies or whispers. Just a different vibe out there from your typical really good killer. Anyone else notice this? If so, what are the current bugs allowing super user killer playing?

Not much of a topic here. I've been reading the forums for about the last year now and until have not posted a thought. For me, it seems about half of the posts are people just complaining about perks or styles of play they don't like because it doesn't fit in "their" world. To that I say, "Suck it up, learn from it and get better". A very easy argument can be made here that NOED is perfect for exposing lazy survivors. As part of the game, totems give points towards boldness and I am willing to bet survivors would not complain about easy points. Just enjoy the game and realize survivor perks are not always going to line up with killer perks and one or the other may get railroaded. Learn from it and move on. If the possibility of NOED ruins your day, (no pun intended) then run stake out and go get yourself 2000-3000 of easy boldness points.
