Blight isn't a killer you pick up and learn everything there is to know about him in 3 matches like everyone else. He requires a lot of map knowledge and survivor knowledge. If you don't know how a survivor can move to dodge you you're not gonna hit anyone. It's like Nurse in that sense, but a lot harder and with a much higher skill ceiling because you don't ignore every mechanic in the game, you have to play around them all.
Yeah, plus I'm having a hard time getting the feel for how fast he goes when rushing. I feel like everything becomes a blur. My eyesight sure isn't what it used to be and I think a lot of it is just having issues tracking things well. Plus he's not a killer I see much of when playing survivor so I'm not used to him from that perspective either.

I'd be satisfied with them just oh, I dunno, fix matchmaking to begin with so I'd stop getting put up against SWF groups that are all ten ranks higher than me.

Yeah, I DCd as killer tonight after trying to do the stupid blight challenge for the 5376th time. I can't even hit ONE person with the stupid lethal rush, let alone six in one match. The devs are seriously smoking something with that challenge. I kept getting SWF after SWF and since I was trying to do that challenge I was mostly just running around crashing into things and it just got too discouraging. The game is quickly getting to a point where it just isn't fun on either side. Love the concept but the execution leaves sooooo much to be desired. 🤷

Yeah, I've had multiple crashes to the dashboard which isn't new, but it really sucks to get the DC penalty for it. My last one earlier this evening was 15 minutes. I have the game freeze up and crash to the dashboard on average once every other day, so I am not looking forward to the increasing penalties for something that isn't my fault. 🤷 I'm on Xbox as well. This is by far the worst game in terms of frequency of crashes for me.

I'm only a rank 12 killer and I'm constantly getting matched up against red rank SWF squads. Honestly I will probably stop playing killer at all if I can get through this tome. It's just not fun anymore. The body blocking, hook swarming, flashlighting and teabagging is just not fun at all. On the rare occasions that I get people who are actually my rank I usually get a 3k with the last one camping the hatch to get out. But the majority of my matches are against people who obviously have been playing a lot longer than me. I really wish DBD had unranked matches because I'd much rather do that than go up against sweaty people who enjoy picking on inexperienced killers for fun. 🤷

I've been having the same problem. Matchmaking is so broken it's ridiculous, and frankly the game is so stressful right now that I'm considering uninstalling it. The Halloween thing is honestly the only reason I'm playing and that really isn't enough to counteract the sheer frustration of getting stomped by SWF teams that are literally 12 ranks higher than me. It's not fun. Killers are leaving the game because they are tired of toxic BS from SWF groups that think bullying killers that are clearly lower rank than them is entertaining, and I don't blame them at all. I am probably right behind them. 🤷

Yeah, the matchmaking is utter garbage. I'm so tired of getting matched up against SWF groups that are literally 12 ranks above me. It's just not fun. I try to play fairly and not tunnel people, but guess what, if I don't, I don't get any sacrifices. So I'd rather not play at all than have to play like a jerk. Generator repair speed needs to be slowed down. When most killers are running ruin and undying just to try to slow down the game a bit, that should be an indication that generator repair is too quick. But overall, I have to say killer is not fun anymore at all because of the cruddy matchmaking. And despite people saying that solo survivor is impossible, I find that I usually escape more often than not, and I rarely have anyone to play with in a SWF. But SWF, especially 12 ranks higher than me, is just not fun and I'm tired of hearing that matchmaking will be fixed "soon". I've been playing for several years off and on at this point, and I don't believe the devs anymore.

Their matchmaking has been borked for years and they do nothing about it. I'm tired of being rank 14 and getting put up against all SWF groups that are all ranks 1-3. On what planet is that OK? They wonder why they don't have enough people playing killer, well, that's why. People play games to have fun, and getting destroyed by people 12 ranks above you is not fun.

Agreed, matchmaking is totally horrible. I'm rank 13 and I just got matched up against a SWF with people ranked 2, 2,3, and 6. That's completely bonkers and not even remotely fair. SWF already have a ridiculous advantage but to have to go against people literally 11 ranks higher with probably hundreds more hours in the game is absolutely rubbish.
