Oh yeah, so scary a killer who looks like he can get his ass beat by david + half of the male survivor cast 😂

This argument is pretty silly. I'm fairly confident David could clock out Amanda/Pig too. Yet I haven't seen anybody make threads about how Pig is a dumb Killer.

  • Circle of Healing by a landslide. Dead Hard is an annoying and sometimes unfair perk that allows Survivors to loop longer or straight up get away. Which is, again, very annoying. Circle of Healing, on the other hand, is a meta-defining Perk that has singlehandedly eliminated Hit-And-Run tactics from the game and made it so only the Killers with the most crushing pressure and anti-loop can win games at high skill play.

  • I don't see why Carmina should be confused about what crows are. I live in South America, literally in her country too (Chile) and even in the time period I believe her story is likely set (late 20th century) Chile wasn't some backwater country that wouldn't know what a crow is from pop culture. I always assumed that crows were meant to represent surrealism and intentionally placed there to show that whats happening to her isn't natural, but The Entity's influence.

  • As a new player, I can confirm that indeed, one of the most frustrating elements of the game starting out - aside from the stuff you gotta learn to get good, all games have that kind of thing. - Is how insane the the grind for bloodpoints is. Having to level up both Killers and Survivors for their Meta Perks is a complete chore.

  • I don't know if I'd like to have Dracula exactly. - I think there might be something interesting that Behavior could do with the overall concept of Dracula, but I think I'd actually prefer if they just used the basic concept of a vampire. I do feel that, due to the Slasher focus of the game, it's really lacking in terms of more overall and varied archetypes of classic horror. So I'd really like to say a Killer based around the concept of a Vampire, Werewolf (Huntress doesn't count) etc and etc. But for Dracula himself, I feel the more refined interpretation of the character based on, for example, Bram Stoker's one wouldn't quite fit, and I'm not sure which licensed Dracula would fit in DbD either. Which is why I think just making an original character that is a vampire would be better.

  • Killing people is the role of the Killer. I mean, it's in the name.

This game is ultimately based in the threat of death and the (relative) powerlessness of the survivors to stop it. It's a core mechanic and the objective of the Killer is to get as many kills as possible. Obviously, the path to getting there is where the fun is, and I don't think there is anything inherently bad with letting survivors live or anything. I occasionally let people go out of amusement one or two matches, but generally I do try to kill people, since again, Survivors and Killers are opposing teams and no one in this game owes you anything either.

And besides it's not really a big deal. If you get killed as a survivor, even if you got face-camped, the worst that happened is that you lost 2 minutes before going back to queue and spending, what, 5 more maximum? I know time is valuable, but it really isn't that important. I do feel that SBMM has messed up this though, cause sweats and for-fun people now find themselves way more often and a lot of people feel more pressured to be competitive.

  • As someone who mostly plays Huntress when playing Killer, I can honestly understand why some dislike her. She is a killer that if played well can snipe people from crazy distances and across the map when in high level play, and as said before the hitboxes of the hatchets are so wack that it can either screw her or screw you as a Survivor. On the other side, though, playing against a bad Huntress is a snoozefest because of how unintuitive her hatchet throws can be and how useless she is without her hatchets. A bad Huntress will miss everything, be easy to dodge and leave the Survivors playing press M1 simulator until the gates opened. Not really the most interesting gameplay for either side. Add on top of this that she is the most popular Killer and it really is no wonder a lot of people can get sick of her, even if nothing else because of repetition.

  • Samara Morgan for Sadako, for sure.

  • Eh. I am of the opinion that no one in this game owes you anything (that's the job of the developers), especially when it comes to the relationship of survivor and killer. Hiding and avoiding the killer is literally the point of the game from a survivor's point, so I have a hard time seeing how what you did was bad. Even hiding on a corner of the map until you find a hatch is a completely valid strategy.
