Latest stats: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/106566/stats-november-2019
And they do keep nerfing survivors. For the last year+ most patches have been dominated with changes that make survivor more difficult or nerf survivors. These changes are in response to SWF and affect the the solo survivor community more than SWF teams, but solo survivors make up the largest segment of the player base. I think the assessment that Killers are the squeakier wheel is somewhat accurate. I've seen it here, and also that was largely the experience from the biggest DBD PC FB group that exists. Killers do seem to be most vocal and perhaps it is because they have less avenues for discussing their frustration. They took out every major loop an average player can use to prolong a chase. Saying that content creators, who have mastered looping/tile pathing, showing off ways they can till give a good chase against average killers does not negate the fact that the vast majority of people who play this game as survivor are also average and play for a few hours a week. Not 12 hours a day as their profession. This was another in a long line of survivor disadvantages. You can call it a QoL balance for killers, which is fine. But that doesn't change what it does on the survivor side - especially the solo survivor side.
I'm still missing where we are getting these survivor nerfs. Like in the last year what are these major nerfs? Because the ones that stand out the most are Nurse, Ruin, and Doc is looked at both ways (buffed/nerfed) depends who you ask. Insta heals maybe? Should those actually be considered fair especially when they would typically be used as a form of BM? Toolboxes? You're still going to do a gen faster with one and survivors can group up on most generators. Trying to say the playerbase is full of solos and average doesn't make god loops and infinites okay. There are plenty of good players as well that aren't content creators that's every game. It doesn't only take SWF to win games either as some people wanna push "you can't be a high rank solo!". You're especially pointing out the average players however what about the good players utilizing strong loops? It also doesn't take endless amounts of play to understand the maps, that's also part of getting better at the game. Map layout is an important part of the survivor gameplay more so than killer imo, knowing the map layout I should say. If a survivor isn't going to take the time to learn the newer layouts then that's simply on them. You can't just leave a strong loop in the game with the purpose of making the guy with 40 hours feel like the guy with 4,000 hours.
This patch is a fix, some nice quality of life changes. I wouldn't even call this an outright buff to killers and nerf to survivors. If we talk balance well infinites are not balanced, chasing one guy endlessly while there are three other people getting things done. Keep the ridiculous loops then and bring Nurse back to her former glory because that's why anyone was playing arguably the hardest killer in the game. They still aren't bothering to buff the weaker killers that need it. What survivor buffs can we name right away that AREN'T HITBOXES THE GAME HAS NEVER HAD GOOD HITBOXES!

Do have any idea how long it took me to re-find this post? So you better read it lol This guy goes over it with even a chart showing kill rate before the ruin nerf. It demonstrates that obviously not all killers are created equal, but that by and large it was at the 70% chance of most killers winning. And in some killers cases, it was over 75% chance of them winning on average.
Here's the link.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1237113#Comment_1237113
I have looked at the graph and through the post a bit so it wasn't for nothing ;)
By the looks of it, it seems like the dev (or whoever from the team) giving their input in the post was saying to take statistics like that with a grain of salt. They use the Clown as an example, as we should all know Clown is the weakest killer in the game atm. However the stats will show that he has over a 50% kill rate. So what does this mean? He is good, he doesn't need any changes? No. These stats only show popularity and kill rates not their perks, ranks, add ons, how a match went (survivor feeding for example), were they mori'd, how many survivors were playing together, too many factors are left out. It's unsurprising Spirit is the most popular, Billy and Spirit are your best picks in high rank (Freddy some will say although idk what makes him powerful someone needs to explain that one better).
Rank is the biggest factor in stats like this. The game is 1v4 do not forget that, the kill rates should be at a high point it only makes sense. Rank doesn't exactly mean much but you can assume at the low ranks of 15-20, you're going to be playing against not so great teams (although matchmaking is all over the place from recent experiences). When you're starting out as killer vs starting out as a survivor, killer is far easier to play. So I would assume on the lower end of the ranking system a lot of the kill rates are coming from. Not to disregard it by any means but rank should be a statistic integrated into whatever sort of data they wanna give us. HOWEVER with rank reset being a thing even ranks aren't very reliable depending on when you'd consider them... -.- there's too much to think about. It's unreliable imo
Use the community, there are plenty of people that will say Clown needs a buff and why so get working on it. Hag as well so at least the statistics aren't completely unreliable since it considers them the weakest/least played. They are going in the right direction with the recent changes (idk what patch I just downloaded or if it's just a plain old update...). Changing gen times and reworking maps should be welcomed fixes. We also don't need more top killers getting nerfed, we need the weaker ones getting buffed to actually balance it out. Do you know why Nurse was so dominate before they nerfed her? Because you can't/couldn't loop her O.O I don't wanna see Spirit get nerfed just because her pick and kill rate are high. People are only playing her to keep up with high rank SWF after all, consider why these stats are higher.

In short, the squeaky wheel gets the oil. They released not too long ago statistics that showed killers were getting 3k on average. Well the problem with that is that according to their own standards of what a balanced game looks like, the goal is for 2 survivors to escape and 2 survivors to die. The statistics show that on average, 3 survivors die and 1 survivor lives. Yet they still are nerfing survivors. This I believe is largely due to the fact that killers dominate the forums. Since most people who play DBD as survivor, do it with friends. So they already have people to talk about DBD with, where as the killers sitting there alone not talking to anyone about the game.
Where are these statistics because the community has largely been bashing the devs for favoring survivors too much. Idk where we are getting this "they keep nerfing survivors" because they haven't... Killer has received the most nerfs in just about all the big recent changes. I guess in that regard your point about "balancing" would be true! Except survivors are stronger than killer and it's been that way for a while. The recent loop changes were a fix not an outright buff to killers although you can look at it that way if you want. God loops/infinites are still in the game btw people have shown them off, quite the "survivor nerf" I'd say :D

The big issue currently is the new player experience, new killer experience that is.
I've played plenty of killer over this game's lifespan. Recently I started playing on two new accounts. One on my PC and the other is my brother's I've been trying to teach them. Out of all these games I feel the majority would have an actual new killer getting stomped. Take for instance rank reset recently, this account was at max rank 16 before, turned rank 17. First match there's a rank 5 Feng in my game... what? Again brand new account and most games are full builds and survivors actually playing decently at the least. I know what I'm doing so I could care less who's in my game honestly. However watching my brother play, he'll look right at a survivor most of the time and not even realize it just for example... It's pretty obvious neither of them are enjoying it either especially when they literally tell me "I'd rather watch you play". Getting stomped sucks and killer is frustrating that's undeniable. It isn't about how I've been watching two baby killers play but from my games as an experienced killer and the teams I've played on these new accounts.
The new killer experience is not a friendly one is the conclusion I've come to. We're talking brand new to the role not you or I who have been away for a while don't get me wrong.

Slugging survivor #3 so you can 4k is 100% toxic. It is a lazy killer who doesn't want to have a fair match. The 4th survivor should have a run at the hatch. That is the 1v1 aspect at the end, the sliver of chance to still get out. Slugging #3 is just a cheap play to cheat #4 out of a fair end of match.
Gen rushing is not a thing, it is a survivor objective to work gens, it is the killer objective to kick them and chase survivors off. The killers need to engage in destruction, chase, hit and sacrifice. 4 objectives, not "just killing". Survivors need to be altruistic, finish gens, break totems, engage in chases as objectives. Blood points are this games currency, literally the only reward that matters. You can not buy a character with a pip. And to tunnel and slug survivors throughout the match and cheat them out of the opportunity to even play the game while claiming "it is a strategy" is ridiculous.
Teabagging is toxic behavior, I was not limiting my reference of toxicity to killers. So is flashlight tag teaming and such. Before the toolbox/sabotage nerf, 4 man SWF sabo builds were fairly crappy (although kind of a gray area as far as toxic, at least an exploit). You also stated that a "coordianted team" could rotect a erson being tunneled. But most teams are not 4 man SWF, I am in there together with 1 other erson sometimes, and there is really no excuse to tunnel whether team mates can block or not.
You miss the point that DbD is a 4v1 game... If I as a killer am dominating a game why would I allow the last survivor to even have a chance at hatch? See, trying to put the game in terms of "in a 1v1 scenario..." no I'll stop you there. The killer is supposed to kill the survivors... I thought we established this? I believe I've already explained before that the hatch practically spawns on last survivor about 90% of the time if the gens have not been done far enough for it to spawn prior as well. It's not toxic, it is a strategy just as survivors loop killers. Consider this, hook a survivor and leave now any other survivor can stroll up and they are instantly back into the injured state taking off. Leaving a survivor slugged causes their team to have to heal them which takes much longer especially when there is the potato that keeps crawling. You have the instant method of saving or the delayed and as killer you want to delay as much as possible. More chaos in a match occurs with slugging versus just hooking as well. It's not about cheating them out or not allowing them to play when they just funnel over to the killer. Do you know how many survivors will get saved off hook and then either hide nearby (where I can hear them) or literally run right into me "hey kill me please man!"... Am I not supposed to hit them or something?
By "coordinated team" I am not referring to a 4 SWF group that's unneccessary. There are plenty of people that know the game well enough to play as a team without actually communicating. Just saying Borrowed Time also exists... body blocking happens plenty... you could have someone or multiple people on sabo duty... all examples that could prevent a tunnel. It doesn't only take a SWF to win in DbD although you have the best chance obviously that's any game.
Imo I don't believe you play much killer and you're talking mostly from some frustrating survivor experiences... Unfortunately most people will tell you killer is a much more frustrating role, because it is. Survivors seem to think the solo killer against the team of players should abide by some nonexistent rules, some "gentleman's code". Meanwhile they are bagging at the exit gate at the end of the match. Only the killer needs to "follow the rules", they don't apply to survivors. Telling a killer not to slug in the higher ranks is like telling a survivor not to loop

Umm, this "Killing all 4 survivors is the only objective" is a fallacy and a real problem in this game. Killing survivors is only 1 objective of 4 and escaping the match is only 1 of 4 ojectives for survivors. So killers do play poorly with stuff like slugging and tunneling, both lazy and unnecessary. And then my favorite toxic excuse rolls out "it's a strategy". Apparently, ruining other players match and wasting their time is a strategy. Killers, offerings, perks and items are not toxic. Only play style is because that is not part of the game it is a choice.
I believe you are taking this idea of "objective" in the game and trying to be too in depth. Like, "the killer walking around the map is an objective!" or something. Take a few steps back, the killer is literally supposed to kill all four survivors while all four survivors try to escape. We don't need to say "you need to hit them! survivors need to run!" I mean come on -.- The killer doesn't win because they kicked a gen. The survivors don't win because they pulled someone off a hook. If you wanna say blood points are an objective, well no it's the progression system. But why do we get vast amounts of blood points? To get stronger builds to either sacrifice the survivors or to help survivors escape.
Slugging is not "poor play" nor is it toxic these days. Many games you will find yourself needing to do so if you're really going for the 4k to begin with. Take the third guy and spirit them away, now the fourth gets hatch... That's just one simple scenario I'll gladly offer more as will others 😉 Tunneling is also a pretty ineffective strategy in the long run. If survivors are coordinated to begin with then protecting the tunneled person isn't impossible.
Gen rushing very much exists, no one is here to call it toxic or anything. The gens just get done too damn fast! Did you know that speaking in the most optimal scenario, the gens can be finished in just under 5 minutes... Yeah, and survivors were upset when high rank killers would run Ruin every game which got nerfed...
Well to touch on your last point, play style is the point of toxicity in any game... I don't get this point being made here. Just sticking to DbD for simple examples sake: If a survivor throws down a pallet which offers me the killer head trauma and then starts bagging, why? That's just toxic play and any survivor bagging my Ghostface should expect to be slugged and bagged for twice the amount of bagging done to me, I'm counting 😤

It’s one escape. I mean.... talk about survivors being privileged this sounds pretty privileged thinking you deserve all 4K. I just Got into an argument with my friend over this and we want to enjoy the game together but we have opposing views on this game. I don’t think anyone has a right to anything in this game. You gotta think about it from a solo perspective too. I can’t be responsible for my other 3 teammates so I don’t know why there wouldn’t be an alternate escape if I did really well but my teammates got their butts kicked leaving the last guy to do 2/3/4/5 gens. That’s not fun nor is it possible. Ppl don’t like the idea of slugging the 3rd guy so 4th guy doesn’t escape well... Maybe rework the key so it spawns in a random chest every game but can only be used if your last alive or once all gens are done? And keep the hatch closed the whole game? They need to get rid of Mori’s. I don’t understand why survivors aren’t allowed to enjoy the game too. By enjoy the game I mean do more than hold down one button the entire game to escape. And here killers get to stay in the entire game racking up 20-30K bloodpoints every game going on chases, sweating balls, I don’t think the games slow enough tbh. And you can blame that on Mori’s and gen speed. Keys not really. Survivors still have to do all the work. Also killers walk around the map a lot so they can find hatch easily. Possibly before the last survivor does and just hook the 3rd guy near it. I’m pretty sure killers can stomp on the hatch before survivors get the prompt to exit through it (happens every time I’m standing on hatch with the killer he gets to stomp on it but I never get to hop in)
"The game isn't slow enough" try owning the last 3 gens because the survivors F'd themselves on which ones they finished and now there are 2 Neas with Urban Immersion and medkits doing F@#$ all -.- A quick 15 minute game I was dominating turned into a 40 minute hunt for 2 people.
Survivors have plenty of fun being toxic and such, it's not just about holding one button. You can also play survivor with your friends, I cannot play killer with a friend. You say remove mori which I agree with but not keys? Killers may move around the map a lot but so do survivors. SWF will easily communicate where hatch is as well. Also, if the hatch hasn't spawned yet (by gen progression that is) then by the time it opens for the last survivor, 9/10 it practically spawns on them... Hatch escapes on the final guy are so common it stopped bothering me a long time ago o_o
That first bit about being "privileged" is also a bit... questionable? I guess. The killer role in DbD is to kill ALL FOUR survivors, that is your only objective while survivors attempt to escape. For anyone to be upset over not getting the 4k is completely reasonable not "privileged". Especially considering a lot of the high rank BS killers deal with mainly in the SWF department, it can be very frustrating. That's fine if you're okay not getting a 4k, hell I'm alright with going even 90% of the time. But, it's undeniable that the 4k always feels so, SO much better

killers at rank one that use pop goes the weasel, NOED, BBQ and Nurse's Calling perks are OP, what makes killers OP is ######### hitboxes as well it's getting to a point i can't remember the last hit i got that actually wasn't 5-10 meters behind me, if they fix hitboxes i'm ok with them making jungle gyms worse if hitboxes are fixed but the state this game currently is in is terrible, so many survivors i know said they will become killer mains because of the new update
"Pop, NOED, BBQ, and Nurse's is OP"... oh boy, I'm actually laughing hysterically. No really. Please do not touch the survivor tab for a while you clearly do not play killer enough. You know why people run Pop now? Because Ruin was nerfed. You know why no one mentions Nurse anymore? It's mainly just Spirit and Billy running the game because she was also nerfed... Nurse was and is so easy to play after all right is that the excuse? There's another point to consider, you think this "OP" build is going to cover and work on every killer? It's not I'll answer that for you, there wouldn't be such a disparity in the best killers to the average/trash killers if there was this one god build.
Leave it to a survivor main to reference and complain about hitboxes. Let me explain something to you. DbD has NEVER HAD GOOD HITBOXES. So many people wanna say "dedicated servers wah!" My guy since dedicated servers didn't even exist people were complaining about the hitboxes. Why? Well it was a host system based on the killer and connection is still very much a factor.
So they try to balance out map layout and gen completion times and now survivors complain their infinites and god loops are gone... because they're fair said survivor only players. You know why Nurse was the most dominate killer and people played her at all? You can't loop her O.O oh but she was nerfed as I already said, that's fine right? This patch is not even a blatant buff for killers. It is a FIX. You can look at it as a buff and if that is your only stance and viewpoint the only changes killers have received for a long time have been nerfs. I bet you think Tombstone Myers is OP smh

@JamesBondIGuess said:
I get it, the game is impossible to balance due to the disparity of the skill of the players, that is why they dont buff killers or nerf survs or gens. In high ranks(20-10) the game is easier for killers because there are killers that have deranked to farm new players and also some of them just went back to the game. There are some good survs that just came back to the game in these ranks too but since u play with other 3 survs that are usually new to the game the matches are in killer favour most of the time but if u are good surv u can obviously rank up very easily.
The point is that, due to the previously said, the devs can´t buff killers anymore or any new player would have a terrible time playing and probably would stop playing so they lose a potential skin/DLC customer. But keep in mind that this is exactly what happens to red rank killers playing againts a coordinated SWF which happens a lot of the times.
So the only reason to fix this is to remove SWF in red ranks or give some kind of adventage when playing againts SWF as killer: maybe having a mori by default, depending how big is the SWF could be green or iridiscent, for example.
At this moment the game is completly broken in red ranks vs coordinated SWF: there are a lot of pallets, a lot of OP perks in survivor side, a lot of windows and a gen is done in 80 secs by a single survivor. So its impossible to get more than 1 kill if the SWF is good at the game and are tryharding, doesnt matter how good u are as killer.
I dont understand why there isnt even an icon showing the ppl that are in premade on the lobby. We dont want to be checking profiles all the time to avoid getting SWFd.
I never DC like many survs do and did in the past (actually insane how many DCs after getting caught). Keep in mind that killers cant suicide into the hook if they are not having fun like survs can do. They have to deal with the ocasional SWF bullies and waste their time until they decided to stop pressing CTRL in the gate and leave.
If u are not gona remove the SWF abuse, then make it visible and clear what we are exposing ourselves to.
The only bit here I can really agree with you here is showing who's playing together in the lobbies. This could really go a long way for killers and it wouldn't be some game breaking issue. Simple little friends icon that's all. "Then killers will dodge games of 3 or 4 SWF!" Is it better to play the match, stomp the killer, and they just give up mid game?
You missed the part about low ranks being actual new players. It's not all returning players and the like. My brothers got the game and I've been showing them how to play killer and what not. The matches you get into, on a brand new account, are terrible. I can't see how anyone ACTUALLY new to the role would have fun or the willingness to learn. For example the highest rank this account has been at was 16. Rank reset happened, turned 17. Play a match, the first match after rank reset, there's a rank 5 Feng in my lobby... I play those ranks I know what to do but what if one of my actual noob brothers played this match? One of them doesn't even notice a survivor he looked right at sometimes just to give you an idea...
You can't nerf SWF, as soon as you attack party play in general you're game will start dying. There is no issue with buffing killers if they ACTUALLY need a buff. No killer wants to hear "well just play Spirit... play Billy... etc." they wanna play who they find the most fun but also have good games. It's not like survivor where besides being nitpicky like their cries or Blendette for maximum immersion, they're just skins. You know why people played Nurse for example? You can't loop her O.O the most dominate killer and she got nerfed. Everyone would run Ruin because being gen rushed in a coordinated game is very easy, that got nerfed. Now you're seeing a lot of killers run Pop.
You simply can't and they won't nerf party play. The most they could do is nerf the perks that are being used too much or other fixes to the general game (the most recent patch of gen times and loops is a FIX not a blatant buff for killers). Buffing killers is also something they could actually do. I mentioned Nurse, a lot of the killers should have been brought UP to her level not nerf her. Freddy is the only killer I've seen some people say is actually OP although that's not too often and idk why. He's never mentioned like I stated above with Billy and Spirit (arguably the best you can play currently). Ghostface is strong, Huntress as well if you can get into her play style, Oni is strong as well although Billy does essentially the same and is easier to play. I would argue Myers, Doc, and Wraith are also in a good spot but some people would tell you otherwise. Idk where Nurse sits anymore so... The rest are either considered average or bad, there's your real problem.
-
I never send it, never will, but I do like getting it 😌 Some people just wanna complain because they were sacrificed.
Had a really bad game as Myers one time. This Laurie bagged me from behind a pallet. The gates get open, everyone leaves except her, the only one I sacrificed. Sends me afterwards, "Why didn't you let me go, you lost that game?!?"... "Don't bag next time" If there's ever a time I've felt fully content in this game it would be then. No response after that either... sweet toxicity.

Do you understand you are what is wrong with the killer player base? You won, you got the high score, you beat survivors at a higher rank. You did not get kills, but that is not the only way to determine who won. You should expect in a fair game two survivors to escape and scores to be close. You had the high score by over 2k. I am sure you have also had games where you had the high score and you killed all four survivors who were a lower rank than you, it all evens out. The fact you are complaining and don't realize you won is what is wrong with so many killers. There are four other humans playing the game with you, your job is to play and have a good time. The idea that the only way to win is to get four kills is incorrect thinking.
It's not incorrect thinking at all actually. What's the goal of the survivors? To survive, obviously. Do the gens and all the other little nuances that go into a match.
So what's the goal of the killer? To kill ALL four survivors. Many of us including myself are fine with going even, that's not bad. Final survivor hatch escapes are so common if you're not slugging for a 4k that it stops getting under your skin as well. So this way of thinking is not flawed that is literally the point of the game in this role. Many of us have already pointed out here that "yeah the points good game". But being frustrated at no kills, when you're playing the game TO GET KILLS, is absolutely not "what's wrong with the killer player base". If the idea here is just "wow them points!" then what do we (both killers and survivors) get our points for? Stronger builds. Why does a survivor want a strong build... to help them survive. So why does a killer want a strong build... do I have to say it? Ima say it, TO GET THE KILLS!
Come on man -.-
-
Um, no. Really the only killers doing this are new to the game and haven't had a taste of higher level play. In their mind this is how they secure a kill THE ONLY WAY! Gens do not matter they are only out for blood, your blood. You will be tunneled until death if someone dares rescue you. You also cannot tell them how bad this playstyle is, you are now a whiney baby to them and that is funny. This "strategy", if we consider it that, will never get a 4k unless every survivor is a potato. Suck it up, DON'T ######### ON HOOK! See so many people do this, waste their time while the gens get done. Probably the only time you'd see this in higher ranked play is if the gates are open and they're just trying to get an extra kill it happens.
It does suck but rank up a bit more and you'll stop seeing it as often that's my best advice.

This was playing solo q too. The devs need to sort this issue badly. Lobby times between the 2 sides says everything you need to know really
I was playing on a brand new account for the most part as killer yesterday, been showing my brothers how to play and such. Rank reset, the highest this account was at was 16. Reset made 17, there was a rank 5 Feng in my lobby... I made her DC O.O
On the killer side of things and from playing on a new account teaching 2 newbies, it is a problem. I know what I'm doing so I could care less about my experience. But take anyone brand new to the role and I can't see how it would be any fun. This is the "noob stages" as well which bugs me. Full builds and at least a basic understanding, enough to stomp my actual noob brothers. Although... killer can be frustrating in the long run so maybe the devs are just preparing everyone for the inevitable. You know, get them seasoned in frustration early xD

Obviously don’t play enough survivor, DH pushes back, it won’t create a fast vault, you’d know that if you weren’t such a baby killer, don’t worry devs are cradling your nuts. And I like how you put a positive Killer vs a negative with survivor, which just proves you’re biased. And honestly think an ebony vs a key is even remotely fair you’re not only biased you’re also dumb, the hatch does not spawn in immediately, and you can literally sit in the lobby and see who has what, if they have a key, bring franklins, if you don’t have that perk, use any mori. Bam! And you’re talking about setting things back, you’re literally talking about getting rid of keys, to not only guaranteed solo q UNCESSARY but just down right unplayable
Yeah man, insult, insult, insult. Did you catch the part about me stating "undermining the entire other side"??? When I say "I just got DS at the open gate in one of my games as Billy" and you say "JuSt PlAy DeAtHsLiNgEr BAM!" that doesn't make much sense right? Apparently the one with the pea brain is yourself since you wanna turn my statement into asking for some impossible, broken mechanic. Let me explain more clearly. I, nor other people, can expect every scenario. Idk what map I'm going to get for starters unless I run an offering... which survivors could use in their favor as well. Idk what perks the survivors are running. I could be playing against SWF, I could not, there's many unknowns. So just play this killer and that killer expecting this and that... That'll really help me or anyone else out in the long run. Moron -_-
Who said the hatch spawns immediately? So it's not hard to gen rush down to however many gens for it to spawn and just get an easy escape? Just make up things to benefit your own statements I suppose though. You know these things go hand in hand, start picking off a survivor or two with a mori and the hatch will only spawn sooner! "Oh just take out the guy with the key... Franklin's!!!" You understand any survivor walking along can just grab the key right? Especially SWF, "hey man my keys over there" etc. You still need to get someone down, hook them, and down them again to utilize your mori. We'll just ignore the little nuances I suppose that lead you to this point as well and just dumb it down so it's that simple. This is pointless as is, they're both bad for the game I've already stated this. If I didn't... well there you go! Since you seem to believe I think an Ebony is good for the game, which i never said. Didn't realize you could only play solos if you had a key as well... which isn't true.
I like this one especially, "devs are cradling your nuts". We'll just keep ignoring the fact that survivors are stronger than killers. That the recent patch is the only recent "buff", since it's more of a fix, to killers. Go ahead man spew more of your bullshit harder than the Plague. Keep throwing out the insults and talking nonsense. Please especially put words in my mouth as well since you wanna make up statements, my quotes are all in this thread 😘

lmao. Because infinite loops are OP, play trapper carry two trap them, bam fixed. Play spirit, bam fixed just because you can’t mind game a survivor in to making a mistake doesn’t make you a ######### expert on this game, and your pretentious attitude doesn’t change my opinion at all, I’ve played killer from 20 to 10 with 1 perk and zero add ons. MORI is ######### OP cause you can’t possibly counter it, active DS is nothing. Oh DS by the gate, deathslinger pull him as daw from it as possible.... you’re a joke, and this game is going down hill because they listen to you baby ass killers whine you don’t win absolutely every single game in the possible universe
"Bam this killer... Bam use this killer..." buddy if I could change my killer during a game to place a scenario in my favor anyone would. "Baby killer" huh? Although the community collectively agrees survivor, specifically SWF of even 2 (although arguably even to be fair), is stronger than killer. Consider I and other people don't want to play these killers you think solve this one specific problem no one will see coming as well. No that's unreasonable? "Just mind game the survivors on an INFINITE" (do you even understand why it's considered an infinite...). I mean, you should understand since it's very obvious you're a survivor main that survivors will mind game the killer just as the killer tries to mind game the survivors. You see how that works? Why it turns into a problem? A mori is OP but keys are okay I suppose, I'd remove them both if it was up to me. Let me guess, i should've run Franklin's to stop the guy with the key... Blame the connection as so many survivor mains do as well. If DH only sent you back there wouldn't be so many people using the perk. Going to complain about the hit boxes now even though LONG BEFORE dedicated servers killers would get hits that made no sense? Ffs man. Oh and I'm not wasting my time here to change your mind no no. I'm wasting my time here to say you're undermining the entire other side of the game and you definitely don't play enough killer.
Ah and glorious rank reset just happened and on a new account rank 17 the game decides to throw a rank 5 in my game (yay matchmaking). The glorious DC I got off this Urban Immersion Feng just feeds my Baby Killer...ness.

I know it sounds like I'm whining, but how is this actually fair? How am I supposed to improve when I get stomped on as killer all of the time. I could either wait in lobby as a survivor for 10 mins to find a game that goes terrible, or instantly find a game as killer against red rank/rank 1 survivors? I genuinely would like some advice in how to improve, other than just "get good" as I've played this game for 3 years and this has always happened to me
Nah you definitely played well and you're already close to red ranks. I know the main goal is to get the kills but none with 30k points? I'd push my frustration off and consider it a win. I'd take it as you played in a pretty "respectful" manner. Unfortunately utilizing slugs or borderline camping a hook (more like hunkering down on a side of the map) is something we gotta do for the 4k sometimes. It's a lot less common these days for survivors to play the abandonment game, save for that totally immersed Blendette... So that kind of disruption can really save the game at times.
I recommend Ghostface or the Oni as I genuinely find them fun to play lately. Also Ghostface can bag... so take some of that frustration out with some good old Ghostface bagging, cheers me up.

Any one that gets 29K bps and not one single kill is a laughable joke. whereas, I solo and all three team mates die and I find the hatch only to depip.... this game is so balanced towards the killer it’s not even funny, I bet you pipped up for that game also... Only way to win as a survivor is extreme team mates and making absolutely VERY little mistakes. Whereas a killer has a lot of lead way, their is numerous perks that’ll allow you gen pressure, and if you have a hard time finishing survivors, go for killers that build up instant down abilities like Myers or ghost face. Playing killer has a steep learning curve but once you figure it out, it’s comical how easy it is to win. You’ll likely lose to a hardcore SWF because they know how tough killers can be, our Medkits are a joke, the only useful one is flashlight and toolbox, and very limited. We don’t have add on to help our perks, or offerings that give us an advantage and every perk we do have, like DS, and DH is easily counterable, and then vaults you’ll win the vault game 9/10 against the survivor, the hitbox is obviously stacked entirely in your favor. And now they’re taking out “too safe” vaults so as to increase killers odds of winning. They’re making this game SWF necessary, cause at this point, solo is a waste of time, any survivor that can make it to red by himself is a god.
Your entire post just screams "I don't even play killer and I have no clue what I'm talking about". I bet you think Insta mori Myers is OP... I can't stop a DS when I down someone near the open gate which just happened earlier. DH during a chase to get to pallets and windows is very common it's only counterable in dead zones where you can get right on them to bait it. Of course you'd complain about map changes because infinites and the like are okay in your eyes. What offerings do killers have to help us win? A mori? Now you're toxic and that's bad, but toxic survivors are fine. Map offerings? You can use them too. Spawn with your teammates as well that's also a thing, definitely won't be gen rushing the killer off that one or anything right?
In high ranks you'll rarely find survivors that don't know what to do/can't be coordinated even if they're all not SWF. The game isn't becoming more focused on SWF, THEY'VE ALWAYS BEEN STRONG! We're not playing the same game is my take from this...

Killers camping a hooked survivor and nodding/smacking is new or low ranked play. Mostly why I can't stand the grind of learning and climbing the ranks of survivor, this is all you go against. It's very ineffective in the long run you'll never get a 4k.
Tbagging survivors are common at any rank whether it be to induce a chase or to be toxic that's it. So no it's not only the worst guy on the team especially when a survivor(s) is sitting in the exit gate bagging to rub the win in... very common.
Toxic survivors are celebrated while toxic killers are only the subject of hate. I don't get it, not because I'm a killer main but it's a 1v4...

"I can hear the killer mains typing already" how you going to put up a discussion and belittle one side of the argument? Anyway,
Killers are too OP? Now that's a first, survivors are stronger than killers. Let me rephrase that actually, coordinated survivors or SWF are stronger than killers. It's okay to have infinite loops in the game? Or gens that can be finished in less than a minute (which still hasn't changed)? It's pretty funny how celebrated toxic survivors are (and there's plenty of them) but a toxic killer is the topic of hate. Just bringing a mori is enough to earn trash talk but it's okay for survivors to bring keys... Your goal as survivor, and a group at that, do the gens and escape. The killer's goal is to get the 4k, it doesn't matter if you or someone else is "just content with a 2-3k" your goal is to kill ALL survivors. You're upset that they're reworking loops but why do you think people played Nurse? Because you can't loop her O.O oh but she got nerfed... so that's fine right? Deathslinger is debatable for being janky af. He's slower and unable to hit survivors over pallets after a connected shot even through windows at times. Other survivors can break the chain or the person chained can walk behind any nearby surface to prevent a reel. You consider instant mori Myers OP? You definitely don't play enough killer to know what you're talking about that's been made clear. You know what I find annoying? DS and Borrowed Time, survivors getting in your face during a chase, insta heals, just the typical stuff you see against any ounce of coordination and you can play ANY survivor to pull a lot of the annoyances off.
I've been playing on two new accounts, 1 on my PC (can I get cross save please devs come on???) and my brothers got the game on their PS4. Okay so I know the game I'm smurfing a bit (how else am I supposed to progress anyway... cross save... please...) BUT the amount of SWF and overall toxic survivors you find in the low ranks TUTORIAL PORTION OF THIS GAME is abysmal. End the game, new killer 1 perk no add ons, every survivor has a full build... How is anyone new to killer supposed to have fun or learn for that matter? Well survivors are stronger and it's been that way for a long time if not forever
