Oh yeah totally. Being able to Stan for their favorite Killer character by using their unlockable item skin(s) would be cool.
(But I wouldn't say all items need to have skins from a Killer/Survivor for the sake of ease, some items might not thematically fit for some or a certain item fits very well)
they do already have altered skins for some like the hooks for alien or the hooks and gens for events. It would be cool to unlock hook, gen and chest skins for killers.

Okay, I wasn't sure. I guess I am still not, but I am in a few discussions right now, so I will see if it goes away soon.

I am all for this.
An alternative which I would also be okay with is whenever you buy a skin it came with bloody counterpart, or could be unlocked at P6. This would bring the same result.
I think this would be the coolest thing they could do either way as I would love to play my legendries as bloodied, like Chris, Cybil, Alucard, etc...

The whole bloodweb and item system IMO would need to be redesigned. (From a technical standpoint at least)
(Though I think Items/Bloodweb/Character levelling from a player standpoint needs to be redesigned anyway)
yes, exactly this. I'm sure people would love the opportunity to bring an Alucard with a bunny med kit, or something goofy because they P100 their favorite, but down the road DbD brings in one of their favorite cross-overs. Especially if it included killers. I would bring some Doctor inspired electro flashlight to show off my main whenever I was a survivor too.

The Megeladon outfit was better than any of the submissions. I’m so sad that it isn’t an option.

I was wondering if this was a new base kit, as it is triggered when 1 or more survivors are tunneled out or die, then choose not to spectate. I have seen youtube streamers check this as well as testing it myself with friends. For each survivor dead and not spectating, the next gen completed will add the number of survivors not there to the number completed.
We didn't know if this was base kit because it counters 3-gen and tunneling all at once.
As a balance player (both killer/surv) though, I am glad it seems to be a bug, and I hope this gets resolved soon.
