Well, I can tell you having 3 m1 killers, 1 insanely difficult character, and then huntress. So unless you play huntress the 100,000 pallets make the game a nightmare

anything past level 85 of the rift is just blood points I only have one question why????? Seems like a waste to me
Well, you options are you level to 85 then that's it, no more, the end.
Or you get to 85 then if you are still playing then you get a few cents every few games or so...
AAs long as they don't make the base rift 200 levels and fill the new space with bloodpoints I am happy. When bloodpoints are in the way of grinding for skins, Then I'll have an issue.
Till then you are blind and your take is bad.

Definitely not D tier. Removing his power is something newer players / low MMR will struggle with, so in that respect I imagine he has better results in that bracket than he would in mid-high MMR. Those who use his teleportation effectively have better results than those who don't, in my experience. I've run past multiple hallucinations in chase in previous games and the killer hasn't taken advantage of it, they've just relied on their UVX power to get downs, which I've just dodged or removed.
If we're judging rank based off stomping new players then Hag and Trapper is about S rank cause new players don't even look down long enough to see the traps, let alone disarming or remembering the locations of traps. I think The Unknown is mid at best. Playing against him is boring and is hardly different from any other m1 killer and playing as him sucks cause his power is even more buggy than Knight and its annoying, plus his perks aren't interesting. It's just slightly better TofT, slightly worse Superior Anatomy, and a perk handcrafted for Doctor's impossible skill check build. Otherwise they are all nothing burgers. This update had an interesting survivor/survivor perks, an pretty awesome map, and a meh killer.

Hello,
I'm glad that no one can see their own MMR. I think otherwise total chaos would break out and a toxic city would be inevitable. There are already a lot of streamers and players who think they have a high MMR or are imagining it. Last weekend was by far the sweatiest weekend I've ever played. To be honest, I don't even know if it was because of my MMR. I also don't know if I'm high, medium or low, but what bothers me is what Dead by Daylight has become.
This game just doesn't compare to 2016 anymore and I get that, but Dead by Daylight is just a race now. Genrush versus tunneling. That's all this game is anymore.
A chase or a fun build only works against weak opponents now, because otherwise the generators fly around your ears and the game is over in 5 minutes. You can no longer play normally and I find that sad.
If you want to level up, you have to play a meta build, and that's frustrating. It's bad enough that there's a meta in a game, and YT and Twitch have contributed a lot to that. There's just too much copying going on, and the result is a boring disaster. But that's just my opinion
Do you agree that DBD has become too fast, or am I the only one with this opinion?
It has become too fast and that's to the benefit of Bhvr, the shorter the game the less you can see of its broken buggy mess.

I am personally hoping Dbd's devs will eventually care about the quality of their game but since the Q and A it seems they are more content with just churning out subpar content than they are with fixing or improving or innovating. Our "new" gamemode was just max fog and no perks, they DISABLED features and called that "new content", well probably never see what dbd Could be because that requires more work than just launching junk and fixing stuff once every 6 months.
-
I personally don't try to hard and normally get about 30k bps before multiplier by focusing on hiking everyone twice and then just playing with them while they do gens or go afk. I don't care about meta perks, meta killers, or really anything. I just put on perks that seem amusing, like Trail of Torment, Hysteria, Dark Devotion, and stuff like that.
I normally don't really try hard unless a tome challenge makes me have to
-
No Deal. SM sucks but I'll take 1 out of 75 games being boring and annoying in exchange for being able to run lithe, dance, and q and q in most of my games. Head-on and deception are also fun.
-
What about survivor duos that just sit and hide for 60 minutes?
-
Well, while I'd argue that I haven't noticed any issues with scratch marks or audio issues I will agree that this game has so many simple yet consistent issues that never get addressed or fixed and that either shows that the dev team's management is incompetent Or they need to fix the foundation of the game so they can fix the issues. I love the idea of this game but they need to strip it down and building it back up with all these bandaid fixes taken off so the game can be optimized and built Correctly.
-
Humans love to tell others they are wrong, especially over the internet. If you want more interaction your best bet is either rage-bait or asking for people to weigh in with their opinions
-
Depends on the particular pallet and the killer, on nemi I rarely eat a pallet but on demo it's 50/50 if they can throw it before I shred them. But I will almost always leave u unsafe pallets up so long as there isn't more than 1 lithe user. It's all dependent on the situation.
-
I personally don't have too much issue playing killer, it's gotten alot better since I started focusing on just completing challenges and just amusing myself by running fun builds or wacky builds and not really trying too hard. So long as there isn't a overly toxic survivor, if there is then they can leave the match extra early, although I've only had that happen once or twice ever. Normally I'll aim for 2 hooks per person then I'll just chase without hooking anyone else, some people catch on and will even heal someone I down so I can chase more or even help me do challenges in occasion.

I wouldn't call movement speed balance changes slight at all. And it's no problem really, people will just go play more other better killers like they allready do. The same meta never changes.
Idk man, I've hit iri 1 several times playing reason bs I think up and multiple of those times I didn't even have all perks unlocked so from my pov you can play only meta stuff and be more salty than the ocean or you can play "fun" killers and just know that you'll loose sometimes. I have been curbstomped by swf's but I don't care that much cause while I still lose and survivors are pretty toxic sometimes I'm loosing by playing what I want and how I want. I'm not immune to malding but I'm not about to complain about something like MfT or DH(prenerf) even when every survivor was running CoH and DH I just played how I felt like and I still hit Iri 1. If I can just play random bs with CoH and DH without any real toxicity then I'm sure everyone else can still play Xeno without whining. Is the meta gonna change? Yeah, obviously. Does it matter? Only if you are a metaslave and only play what is "S-tier! Broken! OP!". And in that case I pity that you can't enjoy a Video Game due to your lack of freewill and imagination.

I mean, aside from balancing changes making it overall more skill based for survivors anyways, there's the whole fact of the game being about the killers. Think about the fact that people get excited for new killers but rarely get hyped for survivors. Survivors are effectively just skins after you prestige them once. No reason to be hyped for a new skin except for it comes with some cool perks sometimes.

First off it is not free to destroy a turret without leaving crawler mode you have 1.5 seconds to destroy the turret once it starts firing at you. So you basically have to destroy it on reaction. Due to this unless the killer has e-helmet and/or star chart it is highly likely for two turrets placed near each other will take the killer out of their power.
Now I only played against Xeno on PTB but I didn't have any trouble with them on here but they've been buffed a bit since then but I have played them nonstop since release so what I can do is list the things most annoying to me as a Xeno player that survivors can do.
- I'll repeat two turrets in close proximity usually means I have to drop chase entirely and deal with them and most likely retreat into my tunnels.
- Turrets hidden in tall grass can be annoying as they're harder to see/react to, this is most applicable on swamp but basically if a bear trap would be well hidden there a turret would also be good there as well.
- Changes in elevation are also annoying places for turrets so think the edge of hills, the top of stairways, balconies, etc are more likely to be high value turrets the are more likely to knock Xeno out of their power.
- If you think that will take too much time then use the turrets as an early warning system the literal moment you hear intense beeping start running, Xeno will have to deal with the turret first before they go after you and by then you should have enough time to make it to a strong loop.
- Speaking of loops stay near high wall or very tight loops as much as possible, it makes it very difficult to use the tail in these types of loops and they'll be forced to m1 (I use Coup De Grace on Xeno for this reason but most probably won't tbh).
- DO NOT TRY TO CROUCH THE TAIL. I see so many survivors try to do this not realizing it doesn't work, distance and tall obstacles are your friends trying tricks you'd try on huntress or nemmy doesn't work here as the projectile curves down naturally.
- Don't hide in lockers near tunnels caught a few people doing this. The killer instinct when coming out of a tunnel will give away your location even in a locker.
- Predrop pallets at low loops they're mostly useless against Xeno anyway so forcing a break while you W key away is decent value.
"1.5 seconds to destroy the turret once it starts firing at you. So you basically have to destroy it on reaction."
In my experience, given that the turrets don't always start firing at the edge of the range and it only takes 1 tail hit or one attack to permanently disable them, a xeno can destroy the turrets before it even starts firing sometimes meaning that 1.5 seconds is way more that enough time. Just think about how 3% haste matters so much. In dbd every single 1% or 1 second matters alot and with 1.5 seconds to break a turrets the only Real counter to Xeno is double turrets and idk about you but expecting any solo que team to drag those turrets all the way to a doubled up spot is insane.
I personally want runner mode to get some sorta small nerf or the turrets to get a buff. Runner mode being pretty much guaranteed upon using a tunnel means it's up pretty much all the time and I'd prefer if it wore off over time and maybe after failed tail attacks or something to promote more efficient use of runner time. If not then maybe give the turrets a better slow and make them immune to tail attacks (the tail attack allows you to shut them down without even being anywhere near them) but make them slower at knocking xeno out of runner mode or if runner mode is a power that runs out over time then make turrets increase the speed runner mode drains, think Oni's blood frenzy or Michael's tier 3; once they are activated the power drains during use, that way you Have to either make use of it or use a tunnel for a moment to recharge quickly. This would make turrets more impactful, even though they still get one-tapped in less than a second.

Why do we have to know each other's perks at all times? Why does everything have to have an outplay or counter?
Can't we just get hit by Coup De Grace and say "OMG they had that niche perk and they got me!" instead of "Ugh I didn't know he had that perk and my looping is invalid now this is so unfair and unfun!"
I feel like it's just a thought he had at that moment that isn't worth having a discussion about LOL.

So would you prefer a version of DBD where Devour Hope is unable to be cleansed? It's only one example but Hex: Devour Hope being cleansable is the counter or outplay. Would you rather be permanently exposed after 3 unhooks? If the game makes you feel powerless with no ability to impact things then why play? If there were no counters, outplays, or outpreformances then "Cookie Clicker" has more engaging gameplay because at least you can click and affect your outcome.
HOWEVER; DBD has kinda reached a point where certain perk, killer, and add-on combinations are entirely unbeatable so you'll get a game there you'd be better off on cookie clicker but a majority of the time you can play around certain things provided you have memorized each perk and it's effects. So long as DBD is at least kinda fair it'll keep going on unchanged and I'm fine with that so long as we don't have the "afk cenobite" type builds being left in.

I boot up the game, see that the new player report feedback system is now live, and then queue into matches as killer against 2 bully squads in a row.
Midwich offering, 3 hook offerings, when the match starts there are 3 No Mither survivors with toolboxes. I'm not getting any hooks this match, which ultimately means an L. Furthermore, why even play? Because if I don't then they get to submit FOUR unsportsmanlike reports against me for idling.
Eyrie of Crows. I get an early down, but they went down under a pallet and all 3 survivors are nearby to try and pallet save them if I pick up or pick them up off the ground if I don't. Anyone I commit to just runs away, so I had no choice again but to take the L and commit to someone else completely. Then they sabo any hook I carry to after that. The match is an L, so why even play? If I don't then they get to submit FOUR unsportsmanlike reports against me for idling.
Nothing they are doing is against the rules, but if I don't be their little bloodpoint pinata for an hour (or until they get bored or scared of losing) then I get reported for it. Great game...
Unfortunately the game is just that way sometimes, I've had games on killer And survivor where there was NOTHING I could do due to certain add-ons, characters, or builds. I can't tell you how many times I was just looking to complete a "escape a trial" challenge only to go against a impossible skill check doctor or a simple thanato legion with jolt and nurse's. At the same time I've tried to do fun builds as killer and gone up against 2 survivors running background player and flashlights and I couldn't get even one hook for 3 gens cause they would down where there weren't walls for me to use to avoid the blind. In dbd, due to no difference between try hards and for fun players you can get shoved into unwinnable situations and you just have to play your best, suck it up, and que up again. If you get lucky you can get a fun match.
