Spirit/Singularity/Freddy/Clown Could be really oppressive with perk changes
I'm not saying all will be equally oppressive, but the m1 perk changes can already be felt on live with the Celestial Witness + STBFL combo, these new m1 perks are a great direction for the game I just worry some killers may synergise a bit too well with them considering their mobility.
I'm not saying nerf the perks btw, but these killers may need to be kept an eye on coz of their chase potential etc (especially with the vigil nerf). The very reason you nerfed Blood Favor and Dissolution could be really broken on these too with the m1 perk changes and the like.

I think Clown would be the most problematic one in chase, as he is the one that can most easily hinder you, hit you, and then the hinder lingers and he catches up immediately with a combination of attack cooldown perks. Like, this video from DStrike is prerty concerning:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KYvQUFryQkI think another thing is the issue of unhooking, it just got even easier to get an attack cooldown so fast that you can 2 tap a survivor before they're even able to unhook. Not really sure what to do about these perks since individually for the most part they're fine.
Dark Arrogance's new effect is just overtuned in general
Yeah a permanent 5 stacks of STBFL is a bit much, I'd rather it go down 5-10% along with the pallet stun duration downside.
To be fair if killer sacrifice two perks to get mid game quicker chases it's already hindering them with lack of gen pressure. I don't think those changes are problematic at all. Dark Arrogance should just be restricted in small area around hooked survivor so it's not such a counter to trading hooks. But perks like STBFL or Forced Hesitation are already perks allowing similiar issues and not trully causing them in reality out of endgame hook to defend hook. Which is fine. EGC should be heavily survivor sided and saves should be insanely difficult 1) it wouůd massively increase escape rate as a lot of scenarios where survivors would have 3 out end in 4K 2) Killers that don't do well at performance should have some reward for staying in the match.
honest question though, once we know Dark Arrogance is in play cant we just never respect pallets? Killers are gonna be mega scared of the super stun
The longer stun doesn't make up for having 5 permanent STBFL stacks that can't be taken away and on certain killers who don't get stunned that much (ie. Singularity) it's really not a huge downside
not really, enduring exists right?
This is a fundamental misunderstanding that a lot of killers have. The best gen pressure comes from having survivors dying or on hook. If you can end a chase faster then that's going to result in better gen slowdown than most gen perks.
The "two tap" is already only viable on killers who are not very good while not rewarding high tier killers. So hindering yourself by choosing weak killer and no regression is enough headstart for survivors. :)
I will honestly just start running Overcome, counters M1 recovery, dark arrogance can be nerfed to 20% recovery, anything below 20% will make it dead on arrival and the entire idea of the perk changes is gonna fail if they will just nerf all the perks that are supposed to shake things up, in the end it is a M1 killer perk, we have 40% stbfl already, hardly see a reason to gut dark arrogance, 20% vault speed, M1 recovery and stun duration would seem ideal
You can also already two tap with these killers right now, just use stbfl and rapid, if they would bring a full build for M1 recovery then they would have a 12% faster recovery than just with stbfl alone and no gen regression, no aura, no endgame, nothing, I see how they are stronger on these killers, but also decent on our low tier M1 killers and no benefits for high tier killer, agreed
Exactly. All new killer perks are balanced and should go live as they are. On survivor side Road Life deserves small nerf but nothing too crazy. Like 75 % bonus heal instead of 100 % and I'll say we have new interesting perk changes coming.
I wouldn't go that far, I can see how they reduce dark arrogance to 20% instead of 25, but nothing below that, 15% would make it almost on the same level as the new unrelenting and then it would just be too weak again
Road life could be ok with Stakeout being reworked, so it is gonna be more difficult to do something like 50-60 seconds gen with stake out, Hyperfocus and a big toolbox, healing yourself within 8 seconds with road life and just getting your toolbox back for free with Scavenger, wouldn't mind if they would have done a few more survivor perk buffs, but there are very good and interesting changes on both sides now
I will start running Overcome and Slippery meat with the new changes
If they don't change the Road Life at all, I'll be okish with it. It will create some frustrating hit and run scenario though. I'm extremely thrilled toward next patch like this where they look at some unhealthy perks such as Finesse, Deja Vu, Champion or Power Struggle. May the roaster once again be more diverse.
