Halloween game worthy?
I'd like to try the Halloween game but quite frankly, I don't see it worth spending money on from what I've seen.
It looks extremely similar to Friday 13th game and I gave up on that due to bugs (such as getting stuck in a hiding place until getting killed) that makes it unplayable.
What are your thoughts? Have you played it are you going to?

I haven't played it yet (am in Australia 😮💨) but have been watching a number of streams. My first impression of it wasn't the best but the more I've watched, the more I'd like to play, specifically Myers. There's definitely bugs but i don't think it's unplayable.
I've been seeing a few streams and YT uploads too.
To me it looks fun for a little bit but doesn't feel like there's enough game there to keep attention for the long run.
Did you see any of the DBD streamers like SpookyLoopz or Otz play? I saw one of them kill Monto because he was stuck repairing a car unable to run away.
Likely won't last a year, aside from that it seems fun and/or interesting. However if you expect it to be like Dead by Daylight you will be very disappointed as they only thing they have in common is that they're horror asyms.
I was excited for it but it looks to be rather poorly made. very buggy and janky to where it looks like it shoulds till be in alpha, myers doesnt have to interact with human players to win, myers interaction seems to be press button to appear from shadows, press a button to grab and then press 1 2 3 4 to instantly kill someone. all while all the horror and scary potential of the game is removed by 15 year olds yelling edgy stuff on prox chat.
and they are charging 40 bucks for it.
Its basically just updated version of Friday the 13th: The Game even copying its name. Like I would call it a sequel to it of how similar it is. They just changed some things and copied the most.
Its most definetely over priced for the content it has really.

there was cupboard sex min game thing but I heard there is like a 60 yo character that was able to do it with the 17 yo chacters so they patched it out (i cant play either in Australian )
I briefly watched Spookyloopz but it was when he first started the game so he was just learning. I mostly watched Maxylobes (non-DBD streamer) and he played Myers for several hours and made it look enjoyable lol
game is awesome! it's so unserious and it's been super refreshing to encounter very little toxicity in general even in a game with Voice Chat.
However it is super buggy right now, I have about 30hr in it and the atmosphere of the game is great but I believe when the major gameplay bugs are resolved the game will be worth getting.
Myers really feels like himself, and his design enforces that he plays that way, the ever walking boogeyman that somehow catches you around the corner. main complaint from me is the NPCs general awareness and pathing is ridiculously bad right now, we will see what the day 1 patch looks like.
it wasn't quietly removed, they confirmed the Loomis thing was a bug and the feature was temporarily removed because of this. NGL though the fact Loomis and the Cops could show up, get crossfaded (which you still can do), and then do it in the closet and not help kill myers at all was absolutely wild… one of the more insane bugs I have seen in a game ever.
Yeah google it if you want to know but it was found by some streamer. There is nothing graphical just that the guy was playing Loomis when they discovered it.
