Abandoning at 2 hooks shouldn't be a thing

Hello I am a big fan and I quite enjoy the game but as a survivor main I have an issue with the option to abandon, especially at 2 hooks. I recently noticed in my last match that I had the option to abandon when everyone was at 2 hooks even though no one was knocked. I firmly believe(Along with a lot of my friends) that disconnecting is a problem in the dead by daylight community and allowing it is a problem. I see plenty of survivors disconnecting for ridiculous reasons like light born, first knock/hook, simply knowing the killer. Now 2 Hooks is completely ridiculous. Disconnecting is throwing the game the same way as going AFK. I hear the saying "You shouldn't be forced to play a match that you don't want to play" but I find the saying stupid because if you don't play the game because of a killer or it's not going you way I believe you shouldn't be playing the game and the devs and other staff have said stuff to support what I believe but the actions taken in this game don't support their words. Instead of allowing survivors to throw the game by abandoning, you should bring back penalizing them.

  • you dont get the abandon option as surviour unless

    - you have been slugged mutiple times
    - everyone is slugged.

so if one of those two things did not happen it would be a legit DC or a bug making abandon option appear.

Edit : also if everyone else is bots or dead.

Everyone else being dead does not give survivor abandon option.

Only three abandon options for survivor are those that you listed. Going down third time in a row, every survivor is in dying state or on hook and if every other survivor is replaced by bot.

Sorry I meant if like eg you are left with 1 bots team mate after the two other human survivor in the match have died. but did word badly in quick edit.

  • You also get the abandon option if no gens have been completed for 10 minutes.

    No…

You don't have to be slugged in a row, I believe it's 2x if you are picked up without being hooked, then on next down you can…

If you are last alive survivor you can abandon

If all other survivors are bots you can abandon

If all survivors are slugged you can abandon

    For killers

If no gen is done in 10mins

    If remaining survivors are bots
