Who's excited for Halloween?
I pre-ordered Halloween The Game last week after seeing gameplay of it from PAX east. I can't wait for it to come out. In a perfect world, the existence of a high-quality competitor would actually make BHVR get their act together and turn DBD into a good game, but we all know they aren't capable of it. Tangentially, I've been playing a lot of Friday The 13th lately through the Camp Forest Green mod. It's amazing how playing other asyms really makes you realize that DBD has absolutely nothing going for it. F13 and soon Halloween are leagues above it in slasher movie fantasy, and Identity V is just DBD but better in terms of gameplay.
I got off track there. Anyways, I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of you on September 8th (or the 4th if you got the deluxe like I did)!

I think it also has a single player mode so it shouldn't end up completely unplayable and shut down when it dies. But yea i didn't touch TCM and got to watch as it fell apart over time. Not sure if there was a single player mode for that one as well.
No there is no singleplayer mode but TCM is still playable as the servers are still up. Its just not in active development anymore.
Of the topic itself might pass on this one as the devs already soured me on TCM as towards the end everything seemed to be blamed on DBD. Like sorry its not another games fault if you guys can't make a game that would keep people playing it. I did enjoy TCM but even the friend who I played with did not like the devs blaming DBD on their own short comings.
