what is a boring game for you?
Tired of getting slugged, picked up, down, only surv injured running round when is 3/4 gens left trying to pick us all up, when they do, downed again, last able surv stood up doing same thing as killer tracks them down, no chases, no fun, just on the floor, in the grass, I may as times be a goat.

Same as me, the people who play 4 man slug matches
Seriously, it's the lamest playstyle a Killer can do imo. Some say its to speedrun matches but if the survivors are even half decent, even if they lose it will drag on for an eternity
Thankfully if you get downed like 2-3 times in a row you can just abandon but I wish something would be done to mitigate this particular playstyle. Not saying I want full anti-slug mechanics but still; even if the killer is struggling to actually 4 man down everyone, they eventually win due to bleedout timers constantly ticking down.
I had a french streamer, live! tv n all and not been hooked all game, bit left me on the floor while they did a totem and a gen, then cos of their map offering they ditched to the hatch as i died i am like #########, was like yay lol I did that
I don't typically ever get bored playing DBD. Frustrated though? For sure.
Typically I'll just let the killer get me then let go on the hook if it's the 2 survivor scenario and there's no hope of winning (aka more than 1 gen left)
Otherwise I'll try to pick them up if they want but if not I'll just hide until Killer picks them up and go for hatch myself.
I get angry and frustrated but I don't get bored.
2 survivor situations are the only time where the game starts to slow down and feel a lot less fun for me
Slugging became so often because people on the internet started saying its most efficient way to play killer.
While it's kinda true with mobile killers… no one enjoys to go against it.
Hopefully something will change in regards to that.
People not playing the match, giving up or playing around not doing objectives. Farming from the start is also something I find boring as I want to play the game not farm bloodpoints.
Slugging and hit and run.
A poorly balanced game, more noticeable if this is in the killer's favour.
If the killer is loads better than me/my team, I'll do my best, but if you can't sustain a chase for any significant time then it's a lost game without any chance to fight back. You end up kinda just waiting for the game to finish even when trying your best.
Likewise, if I'm killer and I'm against babies that are so fresh they can't even figure out when I'm messing around instead of sweating, they just run away in a straight line. If I chase and down them I didn't outplay them once, all I did was walk to them, and if I try to meme around, they just run away and there's no interaction.
If I'm sat on gens the whole game while the killer tunnels the same person over and over.
Arguments against tunnelling always focus on how it's miserable for the person being tunnelled, but rarely take into account the fact that there are three other survivors who are also bored out of their minds.
I see a few popular streamers running the same builds, perks, using the same strategies, using same killer, playing with the same group day after day and match after match. That to me is boring. It's so bad for some of them that I can't even tell if the stream is live or a rerun. So really any match that lacks creativity or has monotonous gameplay, pretty much the majority of matches going on these days.
Tunneling, slugging, and camping.
I see tonsa killers resorting to tunneling me or other survivor ASAP, only to loose the match as three survivors are uninterrupted on the generators the whole time.
And the killer naturally excuses it under the „You genrushed, so I tunneled.“ without realizing that they have to keep survivors away from the generators.. There is just too much focus on hooks and far too little on generators, which is something that applies only at the high-end levels.
This typically goes hand in hand with the camping, the killer going like ten meters away, returning back.. Repeat the process, and even get closer when the hook stage gets closer to the second phase.
Like, just yikes. The player can't play while being hooked, what have they even done to you-
Same goes for slugging.. Kinda.
Now, I wouldn't mind any of those strategies if there were some risks to be involved.. Like some added animations so the slugged survivor would be occupied with possible bleeding too fast if not stopped, getting dizzy.. That sorta stuff.
Nope, the survivor is just lying there, and.. That is boring.
What I enjoy is getting outplayed.
There, I said it.
I enjoy chases where the killer gets outplayed once, but punishes me the next turn, and rightfully so. I do also dislike when the killer just does something simple and getting away with it, i.e. not doubling-back, but only going forward and because I expect some advanced gameplay already, I get punished for overrestimating the killer.
There are some more things, namely hitbox x counterplay oriented.
Trying to get away from the Spirit with Stridor and the player using some E-Sport designed headphones with volume at 200%, so I am heard like 20m away or so.. Unless I run Iron Will.
Those killers who do „force“ XYZ are just plain boring to me.
I can prepare for it, sure, but to me even the general preparation and outcomes aren't satisfying to go through. Not to me.. But that's where I am in the minority these days, as the majority is nowadays consisted of purely competitive player who do only take victories as engaging, losses as disengaging and boring.
When survivor just shift+w whole chase, bonus points if they use sprint+vigil. It isnt even strong since after a while you adapt that surv use all their might and power to turn around and run to the opposing direction second they think you lost sight of them, and you just end up m1ing them in open field, but cmon dont you want to loop
Twins slugging is probably the most boring match possible rn, second to high mobility slugging.
Killer side it's when I'm doing bad in chase and the gens are going super quick so I barely got much interaction that match, but it happens sometimes. The stealth extreme which used to be my number 1 doesnt really happen much anymore.
Games that end with Hatch. I hate having to look for it as either role. It's just an unnecessary elongation of a match that's already over IMO.
