Tricksters knifes
Is it just me or can tricksters knifes with the Trick blades sometimes pierce survivors, bounce and hit them another time?
Now I know that he can get two laceration with one hit if he hits a bouncing blade, but sometimes it really feels like he gives one point when he shouldn't and then the bouncing blade gives another one xD

Blades can some times appear as if theyre piercing through survivors al though Im pretty sure its just a client side thing caused by some sort of desync. I havent messed around with ricochet knives that much since the update because his add ons actually have variety now, but its def something I can mess around with.
He has two add-ons that can give you two lacerations with hit. Edge of Revival Album if you hit the blade further than 20 meters away or Trick Blades that can give you three possible effects after a ricochet, on every eighth Blade hit. You either get two lacerations with the hit, you see auras of any survivors 12m away or you get additional style point. What effect you get is totally random.
So yes you can get two lacerations with one hit by using Trick Blades.
I know that, but sometimes it feels like I hit a visually missed knife and give one lecaration qith that and then hit the bouncing knife giving another one. Maybe it's legit a miss and then the effect of the bounce, idk xD

Like how I read the add-on you just need to hit one ricochet hit and then hit them seven times more anyway and it will give you the effect. So the one that gives the effect does not even need to be a ricochet throw.
Oh really? That would explain a lot, I thought that only counts for bounces xD
I'm not speaking english natively, so I'm sure I don't understand every addon perfectly :D
I even read it wrong the first time I was checking it then went wait and read it again and went oh thats interesting. Have not used it myself so can't confirm it but have to test it out.
Okay I am wrong I think its the eight blade that you have hit with ricochet where you get the benefit.
Probably makes more sense. Good that I use the addon more for the bounces than for the slightly confusing bonus effects xD
Yeah and I understand what you mean by it looking like the knife goes through as it was doing that for me too while I was testing it. Still I think that is just a bug also its hard to get to see when you get the benefit as I did not really even notice it while testing and did a lot of ricochet hits on bots.
Well I guess that means at least that the hits look a bit wonky, no matter if it's the bonus effect or actually bugged xD
