Anyone have huntress or legion tips for me?

Build, tips, tricks, anything. Throw 'em at me.

  • I love Enduring on Legion; you can cheese downs against healthy survivors if they don't realize you have it. I do this by waiting to use my power til the last moment; survivor will panic stun you because "stun=lose power=good" so they'll be injured on the same side as you which gives you the grab. I run Dissolution too so I really, REALLY do not care about pallet stuns.

  • I dunno if I'm the best person to give tips, but I can give a few pointers from how I play them.

For Legion, only commit to Feral Frenzy if the other Survivors are close by, otherwise you'll run out before you reach them. Sometimes it's better to lose a little ground on one person than it is to not get anyone.

For Huntress, try to lead your hatchets. It's a bit difficult, but if you can predict where the Survivor is going to go, you'll hit your hatchet more often. It takes practice, but that's how I do it. In case you don't know what "leading" is, it means to throw (or shoot in a shooter) your hatchet in front of the Survivor, allowing their momentum to carrying them into its path. You can use this for Springtrap, too, but his ax has a shorter distance.

  • I am not able to help with Huntress, but Legion is my main.

    • use at least 2 chase perks, I prefer always enduring and then either Bamboozle/Spirit Fury/Dissolution
    • use Frenzy to body block survior, you can lunge in front of the survivor to block pallet/window
    • if you know you won't reach survivor with Frenzy, cancel sooner so it recharges when you reach there
    • always try to lunge when you are about to run out of Frenzy, you reach quite far with it
    • don't use antihealing perks
    • don't use undetectable, or oblivious perks because it cancels killer instinct from Frenzy

My favorite build right now is Enduring, Surge, Bamboozle, Phantom Fear

Enduring can often let you "instadown" survivors when you lunge under the pallet, because you often end on the same side as survivor so can quickly turn to down them on vault.
Also if they are already mending under pallet, try to cancel your power under pallet and move with survivor to be on same side as them.

Bamboozle allows you to use Frenzy similar to Kaneki on safe windows, just vault using frenzy and either cancel behind them, or try to lunge in front of them to block next window/pallet.

I just like Surge, so don't have to deal with kicking gens, but you can use whatever you want for slowdown.

Phantom Fear is way better than I expected, because Legion is very good at finding other survivors as soon you find 1 and this is exactly what this perk does. You can quickly find a survivor and use Frenzy. Also kinda skip endgame hiding…

Instead of Phantom Fear you can just use Pain res, or Ruin.

Legion is bad at downing survivors, so you simply need to use chase perks to help with that, otherwise you won't have good experience.

  • For Huntress I recommend going sticking to the basics before going for anything crazy. I know its very tempting to go for these fancy crossmaps and orbitals, and throwing 1 or 2 every once in a while definitely doesnt hurt, but you do waste quite a bit of time doing so. As for general chases dont move your mouse much and focus on your movement, but more importantly the survivors movement. Simply holding up a hatchet might make a survivor try to dodge side to side to try to avoid it, and all you have to do is wait till they run into your crosshairs (well, center of your screen lol)

As for Huntress builds, anything that gives bluetooth gen regression like Pain Res or Ruin are always good options. She's great at zoning so Blood Favor or Brutal are also good options. I also like running No Way Out on her since she's pretty good during endgame at securing a kill, and No Way Out helps a tone with that.

I’ve tried orbitals as huntress and they’re hard to hit if you don’t practice constantly. I mainly just try and go for long distance bullet hatchets, because they’re pretty easy to hit.

Orbitals are just for montages you will miss most of them.
For huntress just be patient and dont rush your shots most times its better to wait and charde your axe while survivor panicks and then dont fallow him just wait for him to cone it the line of your shot.
