Anyone saw the 2v8 notice

DBD just put out there announcement within the last hour about 2v8 and are making changes to it to compare data. On phone so can't exactly link the proper announcement or copy/paste but here's the points.

  • Feb 14th 11am EST.
  • Triple XP for all players/modes
  • %400 blood point gains for survivors
  • Reduce # of bots to 1 max per game

  • Monday 17th
  • Analysis the weekend data share the results.
  • Deactivate all bots in 2v8 for 2 days for comparison data.

Thoughts on this?

    Cool, i guess. Bots aren't really the problem though with 2v8, its the lack of mmr

    Its not that MMR is lacking, its that it takes so long to find a match that MMR spreads it out more and more to find players so by the time you get the match MMR is doing nothing.

    Its a mix of both, also explains why you can get survivors out of your region. The game is trying super hard to get everyone a match, so bad that it'll just take anyone and throw them in high ping, high mmr lobbies
